eliwon - be careful! When you venture into c/s shawls you will soon hit the slippery slope! They are useful and versatile.
Thank you for your kind comment!

I fear you are too right about slippery H slopes - so, so many themes to loose yourself and your wallet in! I have been in deep trouble collecting all the PHW cadenas (just one remains to play hide and seek), moussies in fetching colours, jaquards - as we've all learned - it simply doesn't stop :-)

SotD yesterday and a story to go with it.

As some of you know, my mother is in hospital and I visit most evening and the weekend. Yesterday I went with DH and wore my MT but it was so hot inside I unknoted it. After leaving I got to the tube station's lift (subway's elevator) and then checked my throat :panic::panic::panic:! OMG, I lost my carre. I battled back out through a crowded lift before the doors closed, ran back to the hospital retracing my steps leaving DH bemused and far, far behind. I got lost in the huge hospital adding to my panic, e v e n t u a l l y finding my way back to my mother's room now full of nurses. No one had seen my scarf. I cursed myself :cursing::mad::cursing:. Eventually I re-said my goodbyes, refused to be comforted by DH and beat myself up again. I was haunted by 'losing' all my designer Christmas shopping in mid Dec by not being vigilant enough in a restaurant . I've been so tired and not only is my mother ill but one of my students is in intensive care and affecting everybody. Anyway, by the time we went for something to eat I had given up hope completely and already had another chartreuse MT in my H.com basket as we were shown to our table, this was one of my favourite scarves and one I cannot live without. My darling muttered "well it's not like you, it's probably still round your neck". And it was kind of. When saying goodbye the first time I'd put my jumper (sweater) over my bias-folder scarf just draped around my shoulders. It had stayed on untied all though my 'Hussein Bolt' sprint and mad panic. Last place I thought of looking .

Anyway, tenuously a link, this scarf had made quite a performance but is now resting on my bed.
