Lovely on you, dear Maedi. Pink-toned shawls seem to work great on you all the time!

Thank you for your compliment!
This Pique Fleuri de Provence was an almost-miss scarf for me. I like the design but most twill colorways didn't suit me due to my shy personality... However, I saw this colorway (cw18 mastic/vert amande/vieux rose) and I knew I had to have it. It has my favorite green (vert amande), a pearly grey border, and all other soft colors and pops of prune. Very lovely. If you have a blazer or sweater in artichoke green, hunter green, dusty rose, mauve, or prune, it will compliment very well.

Yesterday, I just bought a green beret hat to match the scarf :amuse:.

It really is beautiful! Another one to add to my ever-growing list of H scarves I'd like to own one day lol! :p

I'm going to hit the rewind button and sneak in an entry for multiples week. I just bought these chrysoprase earrings and had no scarf to pair them with. You know how that goes. And the siren call of going to the boutique was deafening to my ears so of course when I was in the area...I decided to stop by to just "have a look". The 70cm Rose de Compas is what I came back with even though it's not even from the current season! I am so weak.... The GM Compass was already sitting in my drawer so I have fallen victim to having more multiples.

I love how one accesory makes use crave another accesory:laugh: I do it all the time:graucho: Love the simplicity of the chrysoprase earrings! And both your compas are
Lovely;)

Seton, I love your Sichuan with the beautiful green border which seems to be hard to find on scarves now.

Croisette, your eau de Nile Sichuan is most dreamy! All your Dallet's are spectacular. He is among my most loved designers (with LeDoux, Watrigant, Faivre, Dumas and Henry).

Thanks so much Birkinmary and Croisette - proud to be twins with both of you - Chestnutty and Cherryblossom. Chestnutty, I have known for a while that pink suits me most and am still trying to diversify my collection. Is that stupid. Your PF is so subtly gorgeous.

MYH, great 70cm addition and those earrings are beautiful!

Elaine, it is nice to have a dd in one's collection. Some are so easy to pair with clothing due to their monochrome nature. Good luck deciding.

dear Croisette - these colours are just stunning on you! I have been eyeing that Circuit extra wide for myself; it's quite eye-catching.

From my archives, Sichuan CSPM and Tanzanie

Seton, I adore your CSPM Sichuan! I so wish they would bring back the non-fringe PM.

I'm traveling today, but here is something from the archives: mine is a slightly strange CW (pink ice?) that I like to wear with navy.

Momasaurus, hope your travels went smoothly! You look perfect in pink here! I love this shade of pink...really beautiful on you!

Thank you, florasun! I've made one (very quick) trip to the boutique. The SA, who was recommended to me by a tPF member, and is lovely, personable, and... most importantly... HONEST is holding (eek!) four scarves for me. I thought I was going to buy one. I may (heaven help me!) buy two.

One is a fuchsia dip dye of Jungle Love... it would be my first DD.

I have a question for anyone who has time to answer. Are the DDs easy to wear? Do they "droop" more than the regular (stiffer) silk 90cm scarves, and are therefore more shawl-like? Or can they be knotted in any number of ways, and are therefore fairly versatile?

Any and all opinions greatly appreciated!:smile1:

Dear Elaine, first off how exciting to have picked out four scarves that you are contemplating over!! I would love to hear which ones you are thinking about!:graucho: I have four DD's and can honestly say I am a big fan. I have the Jungle Love in the green cw, but have seen the fuschia and I think it is sooo stunning! I think, for me, the only difficulty I really have with my DD scarves is that they aren't as versatile to matching all of my clothes. Mileage wise I get more use out of my silk twills because, normally, so many have lots and lots of colors that I can match my clothing easier. However, I love the feel of a DD and Jungle Love is just so special! I am super excited for your decision(s)!!:yahoo: P.S. I actually really enjoy knotting a DD. I actually find that a real advantage to them...just my opinion though! A SA in my boutique has the fuschia cw JL and she often wears hers as a belt. It looks so stunning on her!

MYH, what a beautiful photo, earrings, and Rose de Compass! I love the RdC too and it was my top GM pick from last season! I love how you paired your beautiful chrysoprase earrings to your new 70cm RdC! Perfect, my dear! I think we think the same...earrings and silks go together so well! ha!:smile1::smile1: I love your choices!! For a design this pretty, multiples are a total justification! ;)

My dear Chestnutty! I loooove your photo and the beret is too cute! I am your twin on the cw 18 and adore it. I, too, tried many colorways in this design, but this cw was instant love. I wear mine exactly as you suggested..with different shades of green, mauve, and even blue sweaters. It is my fall scarf! I will think of you when I wear her next time:smile1:.

Croisette7 - Great ending parade for multiples week!..kashinas and Early America shawls and silks are terrific, so proud I'm twins with you on some greens E.A. and on the fuchsia one..(Croisette7 I'm so sad as I cannot find the fuchsia Mors a' la Conetable I asked you about sometime ago, it 's too late as it seems it is out of stock all over the world..Please pm me if you hear of this somewhere.. TIA)
