And, then, my newest two scarves that are OFF THE CHARTS, erotic, odd, scary, romantic, poetic---amazing!! Definitely don't see myself wearing them. Dang-it!
Oh, yes... I've seen those on the H.com site. But your pictures are much better than theirs.

What do you expect to do with them, if you don't plan to wear them? Frame them? I would suggest not in your bedroom... these are the stuff of which nightmares are made...

Just in time for "Autumn Colors", this is Jardins d'Armenie CSGM. I didn't think to post it, but wore it today to a meet, and momasaurus said it's great for autumn!! She's right!!

So pretty, and even better in person, HermesNuttyNut! Lovely fall colors and you looked stylish and comfortable! :smile1::smile1::smile1:

I'm blaming Lanit on this scarf and intended to bill her for the damage, haha. Welcome to the blue slope, Lanit! Please do stay and keep me company!

The blue shade is so gorgeous, I have a hard time believing that it's a dip dye! A blue with a pearly lavender sheen on it. The color is so gorgy that I decided to bypass my "horse nostril phobia" that I usually have with this design, LOL! And, the velvety feel is so lovely! It's a dip dye with a coloration of a twill!
Copied this knot straight from a scarf friend. Hopefully she will be twins with me on this colorway soon ;).
Looking formal with a LBR.

or casual with an ecru waffle sweater

Enabled anyone yet? scarf1 - my fellow blue scarfie where art thou?

I'm very happy with this new addition. Oh wait, I'm a blue sucker so this scarf should not be a surprising choice, ha!
This is so lovely, Chestnutty. Dipdyes are fabulous, and these lighter CWs of the Marwari are really really really really tempting!!

Aloha!
Last day in Hawaii, went to Ala Moana (Honolulu) today. I really had not intended to buy another scarf, but… Tried on the DD pale blue Marwari which was beautiful (Lani and Chestnutty I was so close to being triplets with you 2), but had to select the last Aloha DD in the store. I think it is from 2013. Perfect scarf as a memento of our many visits to the Islands. I just happened to wearing a fuschia/cerise colored T that picks up the accent colors. It is CW 04. This is my only (first) DD scarf.
The paper tag was removed. From my receipt the colors seem to be:
vert de gris/canard. Not sure if there is a 3rd color name? Any help appreciated.

when I get home, will need to review the directions on removing the fabric tag…I can see that it is a bit annoying.

I'm spending the weekend at a haiku conference; wearing a different one of my Japanese-themed scarves every day. (I have three; fortunately, the conference only lasts 3 days!:p)

In keeping with our autumn theme, here is an autumn-toned Ikebana arrangement that one of the group's members brought to the conference.

And a haiku I wrote today (the assignment was to write a haiku about birds):

crows shriek blue murder —
within cypress tree branches
a hawk… unruffled

Beautiful arrangement and I LOVE your haiku!:D. Thanks for sharing

That is, in fact, my one worry about the lacquered rings, as compared to my rosewood ring, or my horn ring. Will the lacquer ring just look like plastic? And if it does, why would I want to spend so much money on something that looks like plastic?:confused1:

Would love to hear from someone on this thread who has purchased one of the lacquered rings. Do they look very special?

By the same logic, people who are not scarfiies may think your exquisite silk carre came from wal-Mart... I say get it if you like it, most scarfies would recognize a MT scarf ring. And if they aren't scarfiies, they will probably think you are wearing a polyester scarf with a plastic scarf ring anyway.

I like them and I am thinking about getting some of the anneau rings so I can copy the necklace she did with mythique Phoenix.

It's stunning, scarf1. And a terrific memento of your trips to the islands. It also looks fabulous with your tee! Great contrast!
