Scarf of the Day (Themes on page 1)

By the same logic, people who are not scarfiies may think your exquisite silk carre came from wal-Mart... I say get it if you like it, most scarfies would recognize a MT scarf ring. And if they aren't scarfiies, they will probably think you are wearing a polyester scarf with a plastic scarf ring anyway.

I like them and I am thinking about getting some of the anneau rings so I can copy the necklace she did with mythique Phoenix.

You know what, florasun? That is a truly excellent point!

When it comes right down to it, who am I buying these beautiful things for? Me, of course! I will know that I am using a lacquered ring, and I will take pleasure in it. Just as I take pleasure in my MT rosewood rings and horn rings. (And my H scarves, of course!)

How interesting, florasun! Collier de Chien looks like a totally (and I do mean totally) different scarf in the two different CWs! I don't own any multiples, but I can now understand the attraction!

Thanks Elaine! Yes, multiples is an affliction to beware of. You ask yourself Why do I need the same design in multiple colors? Because you can't decide, or the second prettier color was nowhere to be found when you bought the first pretty color, or the drape is totally different, or, like you mentioned, it looks like a totally different scarf.

Aloha!
Last day in Hawaii, went to Ala Moana (Honolulu) today. I really had not intended to buy another scarf, but… Tried on the DD pale blue Marwari which was beautiful (Lani and Chestnutty I was so close to being triplets with you 2), but had to select the last Aloha DD in the store. I think it is from 2013. Perfect scarf as a memento of our many visits to the Islands. I just happened to wearing a fuschia/cerise colored T that picks up the accent colors. It is CW 04. This is my only (first) DD scarf.
The paper tag was removed. From my receipt the colors seem to be:
vert de gris/canard. Not sure if there is a 3rd color name? Any help appreciated.
