Wonderful collection and video Birkinmary, the details are so vivid on the video. How do you store your impressive collection?

Hi dear scarfies! It's been ages since I last posted here, I've been traveling a lot, many times to places where I had a very weak Internet connection, I'm afraid I've lost too much here!
But this is Ledoux week and I couldn't let it pass without contributing to my favorite Hermès designer ever. This is a YouTube clip I made for you before leaving, I hope it works well and you enjoy both my scarf collection and the music (another favorite: Bach)

Oh my goodness!!!! Thank you so much for posting such eye candy! Beautiful!

off to watch again...

Team silk - I have been eager to share a new find with y'all. I'm hopelessly off theme today and am having an even harder time with headless selfies. Some days they are easy and other days, impossible. C'est la vie. So I'm an admitted Astrologie nouvelle junkie (have two 140cms and have been hunting a 90 cm forever). It takes a lot of restraint not to bid on the perforated ones I see all the time. So I snagged one that I felt had a casual cw vibe and TBH, my orange Pico was demanding it also. The orange in the scarf is more of a burnt orange, but that's ok close enough! Ever since my stinky kelly went back to her homeland, I have been carrying my picos around a lot! So here she is with some mod shots. As you can see, I'm still playing around with modified cowboy knots. I'm determined to come up with a few more! Which one looks better? The smaller gold ring or larger silver one? Thanks for reading my silky tale.

Thanks for showing AN - lovely CW! I am hooked as well, got to 90ies, one i blues and one in etoupe/mustard, they're both the result of a loooong hunt - and yes, the perforated ones are very tempting, too!

Simply Gorgeous!
I'm on Cloud Ledoux!!!
:cloud9::cloud9::cloud9::cloud9:

Thank you dooneybaby, I've been on Cloud Ledoux for ages, Lol!

Yes, it works and it is delightful! The artistry of the scarves is brought to life.

Thank you QKay, so glad it finally worked, I felt so bad you couldn't watch it.

wow, BKM! i need a cigarette after that. great job on the vid and amazing collex.
i see that tpf still wont let me quote.

Lol Seton!

Thank you I4H. I've got a special chest drawer for my Ledoux Collection, they are mostly stored by relevance and color.

Birkinmary
Wow, amazing! The details in some of the scarves is wonderful!
How do you ever decide which one to wear, with so many beautiful options?

Thank you scarf1, I don't wear my vintage scarves very often by I do keep searching for documentation about them, it's a passion.

BIRKINMARY I LOVE your video!!!! Thank you so much for posting it....what a joy to watch! *second cup of coffee, second time watching

Thank you S'Mom, I'm very glad you enjoyed the clip, and the coffee!

It says the same thing for me, too. I was so looking forward to viewing it.

Hi Birkinmary, it has been really a long time. So glad that you took the time to make the video but unfortunately, the link didn't open.
Don't be a stranger. I missed your action pics.

So sorry it didn't work, Florasun and chkpfbeliever, try it again it seems it's working now.

Frou, marietouchet, textilegirl - I loved today's spotlight on Proues. I have a whole new appreciation for this lovely scarf. :smile1:

Dear fast-walking gourmet grocery shopper - TY for brightening my day with your Texas GM

Nice action shot seton; this beauty needs to make it's way into my collection ;)

I really love ur new AN! It'll be perfect for next wk theme with all the burnt orange.

Thx to all with the Metamorphoses advice. I got out of my indecision funk and decided on cw05 after all.

Twins seton! Sparkle, this was a :nogood: for me at first too, then, in my effort to be open-minded, I tried it on. Wowza! Adore this silver (not white) cw!

my last one for the week - Sesame (keyholes)

Just lovely!

MYH, this is a great combo with your Pico! Frankly, I love this design, and so many of the cws, and had it looked as good on me as on you, I might have followed your lead and salted away a few selections :graucho:. Alas, it was a no-go. Slightly partial to the gold ring, but not overwhelmingly so....

The Ledoux-Rybaltchenko trilogy:

Les Trois Mousquetaires 1980
Les Amazones 1968

Seattle Opera usually attracts a variety of attendees, including patrons in dress circle wearing jeans and fleeces, but one favorite is a young lady who commonly comes in a ballgown with sneakers and a blue mohawk. Hey, at least she's making an effort!

Or she's making a "statement"... but I take your point. She's putting together an outfit. One presumes she saves the ball gown for the opera:D.

But I know what you mean. When we go to the San Francisco Opera, I'm amazed at the number of patrons who just throw on jeans & a sweatshirt. Personally, I'm glad for an opportunity to dress up! This year, I'll be excited to be wearing my new-to-me Daimyo in the black/gold/grey CW.

Of course, my real dream-come-true would be to wear Turandot to a performance of Turandot. But first I have to buy Turandot...:p

Oh, birkinmary, this is an incredible video! I love the way you zoomed in on the scarf details. I don't know the Ledoux scarves very well (I've just bought my first, inspired by this week's theme) but after watching your tribute, I feel as though I've taken an entire college course in his work!

And Bach is the perfect accompaniment.

Thank you for the visual and auditory treat!
