What a fabulous photo, pierina! One more Ledoux, an archive picof DD's Pavois:
Oh, so you got that howler down on the "south coast" also, melora? I was thinking of you, and wondering if you were surprised by your first coastal storm! Yes indeed... this is the California coast in the wintertime... welcome to your new home!So I tried to post my Halloween pic earlier, but tPF didn't accept it. It also removed the link for the robee knot. I'm glad you found it by yourself, Elaine.
Halloween was pretty crazy for me with my first California rain (oh boy, that was a real one...), including a temporary power outage, but also lots of candies and pumpkins and fun.
I'm sure I'll manage to thank, answer and compliment everyone some time in the near future![]()

Hi silkies, let me just post a pic of my super-secret b'day present to myself, yet another Chasse en Inde. This color has been trying to seduce me for weeks, and I finally succumbed. You will be seeing her again with her sisters during multiples week.

Hi dear scarfies! It's been ages since I last posted here, I've been traveling a lot, many times to places where I had a very weak Internet connection, I'm afraid I've lost too much here!
But this is Ledoux week and I couldn't let it pass without contributing to my favorite Hermès designer ever. This is a YouTube clip I made for you before leaving, I hope it works well and you enjoy both my scarf collection and the music (another favorite: Bach)

Thanks, textilegirl, and what a beautiful way to stay warm with your super soft favorite tied so prettily around your neck. Wonderful to see you here.

Sorry for the failed link to the Tube, please check if this time is working:
This is beautifulThank you for your compliments Greengoddess, MYH, Maedi, Elaine, and sparkle! I hope I haven't missed anyone!
This one isn't terribly rare, but it's a favorite Ledoux nonetheless (love the rigging!); here's Marine et Cavalerie classing up a pedestrian sweater (I'm deeply invested in MYH's "I must wear my 90cm silks" program, and I find I'm enjoying them very much, even with my not-leaving-the-house lounge wear).

It looks great on you, textilegirl, knotted so casually, and I am completely with you about wearing the 90cms even inside the house over a comfy sweater! I think MYH is right on target. As for me, if I waited for an "occasion" to wear my carrés, they would languish in my scarf drawers!Thank you for your compliments Greengoddess, MYH, Maedi, Elaine, and sparkle! I like that about Seattle. Very cool vibe!Seattle Opera usually attracts a variety of attendees, including patrons in dress circle wearing jeans and fleeces, but one favorite is a young lady who commonly comes in a ballgown with sneakers and a blue mohawk. Hey, at least she's making an effort!
Ooops! And thank you pierina for your complement on my Proues, and for posting DD's Pavois! I'd dismissed Pavois as 'just a flag scarf' until I picked up the pochette and started studying the details. It's wonderful!
And a treat to 'see' you as well; life has regrettably interfered with my ability to fully participate on SOTD, despite my continuing passion (obsession
)
Greengoddess, Elaine, Florasun, Croisette, Frou, - TY for the Sesame love
Vigee - I always want to be YOUR twin in my dreams.
Pierina - so glad u were able to catch my Texas spy pic. My very second thought after 'OMG, Texas GM!' was 'Isnt that Pierina's cw?'
Your Pavois looks like a pic from Monde d'H. Beautiful!
Sparkle - which Metamorphosis didja get? I could see you in the orange cw.
Florasun - ur Chasse looks like a great cw. I cant wait to see your whole Chasse collex.![]()
