This week is "red ribbon week" for celebrating a drug-free life (I feel like an ad...), and kids get to not wear uniform! They had to dress in red or pink on Monday, and in white yellow or green yesterday. Thursday is pajama day (!!!) and Friday they wear their Halloween costumes.

It takes a lot of restraint not to bid on the perforated ones I see all the time. So I snagged one that I felt had a casual cw vibe and TBH, my orange Pico was demanding it also. The orange in the scarf is more of a burnt orange, but that's ok close enough! Ever since my stinky kelly went back to her homeland, I have been carrying my picos around a lot! So here she is with some mod shots. As you can see, I'm still playing around with modified cowboy knots. I'm determined to come up with a few more! Which one looks better? The smaller gold ring or larger silver one? Thanks for reading my silky tale.

MYH, I LOVE your AN and orange Pico! Surprisingly I like both the gold and silve ring on your scarf. I usually have strong feelings towards either silver or gold with items. But, this scarf really works equally well with both. Congrats! Gorgeous! I would love to add a 140 or 90 AN it my small little collection, too:graucho: Enjoy:D

Hi silkies, let me just post a pic of my super-secret b'day present to myself, yet another Chasse en Inde. This color has been trying to seduce me for weeks, and I finally succumbed. You will be seeing her again with her sisters during multiples week.

Are others finding that too ? My favourite Youtiube is caputo too as our Adobe is off so what's a girl to do ?

Mine was too, about an hour ago, but now it's decided to behave. Maybe tPF knows that Halloween is coming up?:shrugs:

Thanks sweetie, I was so miffed that the poncho looked so awful on me otherwise it would have been in my wardrobe by now . The little cape is knitted and from Tallulah and Hope , one of my fave companies.

As for your new Metamorphoses it's :heart:and I'm entranced by the way it ties .A real volte face too , because my initial WTF has turned to desire ...I had the red border one in my hot little hands but dithered .

MYH As ever you chose so well and always make me lust after your silks. This AN is my perfect c'way as the soft yellows and oranges attract me like a moth to a flame . It's perfect , especially with the gold ring .

Melora I've always admired the Cosmos design because I'm fascinated by the heavens and the mind boggling nature of the universe . Those stars are twinkling in harmony with the jumper too! I read a crit of the scarf that said the stars on the Cosmos have a slight phosphorescence , is that right ?
It's beautiful on you , and your knots are both so masterful .

Hi dear scarfies! It's been ages since I last posted here, I've been traveling a lot, many times to places where I had a very weak Internet connection, I'm afraid I've lost too much here!
But this is Ledoux week and I couldn't let it pass without contributing to my favorite Hermès designer ever. This is a YouTube clip I made for you before leaving, I hope it works well and you enjoy both my scarf collection and the music (another favorite: Bach)

froufrou, when I saw your mention of a cape, I quickly scrolled back to find your post! :doggie: Love your ensemble, and your cape! All the talk of ponchos made me realize a cape is really more what I'm after. The H poncho is too voluminous for me, and the colors don't suit me, so now a new avenue to explore. Now off to find Tallulah and Hope! :smile1:
