Wow, I would hate to have to draw our family tree...![]()
This is an old Proues for Ledoux week; the scarf is deliciously supple, and unlike a newer 90cm which can be really bulky, it ties up around the neck with minimal excess fabric. I suppose that's an argument for wearing the heck out of our scarves, then they will be drape-y and soft like butter! Kinda messy, but it was a dream around my neck....
Look at those lovely pleats!!! I adore that knot, melora. And the CW looks so pretty on you. This starts to feel like a Napoléon week (do you think we've seen all existing cw?), and I almost feel sorry to interrupt with a non-Napoléon scarfBut it's my only Ledoux -and my most recent scarf. I have to thank Esmeralda for showing me the robee knot, a new favorite! It allows to show light blue and white on a scarf that's mostly dark blue.
Cosmos, Air France edition.
What a lovely combination of blue & black, frou frou. You are so stylish! Two more Ledoux, I must be a classic girl at heart . The Reprise was my pride and joy in the day , but I could never get the horsemen in their red coats to show so unless I wore it in a triangle it looked like a bandage .
Wisdom of years at least gives me insight into how to wear it .I haven't looked at it in years it's not as bad as I thought .
Proues with my navy knitted cape .
Completely fabulous casual look with the leather jacket. This is such proof that Hermes scarves can go from the opera to the back of a motorcycle in the blink of an eye!Reprise in brown ivory and scarlet
Wow, marietouchet... I never knew that Proues came in such a vibrant CW. Thank you for showing it. My entire screen just lit up!My own personal Proues is probably the most colorful cw of this design
Hard to tell but the corners are purple, while border is indigo
Navy and tan is such a classic combination. Thank you for showing this, frou frou! That one is beautiful, so vibrant .
Here is my navy, tan and yellow Proues
Team silk - I have been eager to share a new find with y'all. I'm hopelessly off theme today and am having an even harder time with headless selfies. Some days they are easy and other days, impossible. C'est la vie. So I'm an admitted Astrologie nouvelle junkie (have two 140cms and have been hunting a 90 cm forever). It takes a lot of restraint not to bid on the perforated ones I see all the time. So I snagged one that I felt had a casual cw vibe and TBH, my orange Pico was demanding it also. The orange in the scarf is more of a burnt orange, but that's ok close enough! Ever since my stinky kelly went back to her homeland, I have been carrying my picos around a lot! So here she is with some mod shots. As you can see, I'm still playing around with modified cowboy knots. I'm determined to come up with a few more! Which one looks better? The smaller gold ring or larger silver one? Thanks for reading my silky tale.

I think that's the right way to think of it, moma. The scarf will find me. Like a puppy at the shelter.Well, best of luck, Elaine. The right scarf will find its way to you!
Frou frou I see you in this cape & scarf galloping across the moors, your long hair blown back from your face. Straight out of a Bronte novel.
Thank you, Maedi!Froufrou, I concur with textile about the navy and brown. My Reprise has the burgundy border. I adore that design. You look beautiful!
Textile, great way of wearing this scarf. I am on the other spectrum. I like my scarves crunchy and stiff. They soften up soon enough and feel so luxurious when they are rustling and right out of the box.
Seton, this is a marvelous color way. Would it look good with your Leila shawl or is it more cool toned?
Melora, you showcase the versatility of the sp. Ed. cosmos beautifully.
MYH, I vote for the silver ring. AN is stunning as is your Pico. Want!
Croisette, I like how you drape your GMs so artfully. Beautiful!
Elaine, I look forward to seeing your scarf choice.
Well, the reality is that they probably will not get in the CW I want in ZP, so Voyage it will be... unless a different one tempts me!Both are beautiful, but I see you as more of a voyage person.
Wow, seton, that is astonishing! The silver keyholes against the Federal Blue background... a wonderful CW.
