Metamorphoses par H - anybody have any idea about what would be my cw? Normally, I would buy 3 of the cws but dont have the space anymore. I was thinking the white/black but it really is very silvery. I am strangely (for me) paralyzed with indecision.

Sparkle - that Pavois is YOUR cw and the way u tied is one of my favorite ways to tie.

Florasun - Esmeralda looks lovely in her Robee Knot.

Elaine - Considering the yr that u bought it, it looks like yours is the 1985 reprint. Here is a pic from the 1985 How to Tie pamplet. This IS ur cw, no?

This is my CW, indeed yes!!!! Thank you for the lovely photo... I will screen-capture it and add it to my files. Doesn't the model look lovely!

Thank you, seton, for clearing up my little mystery. Isn't it interesting (and occasionally frustrating:p) that sometimes a © beside the logo means that the scarf is an original issue (like my Kermit Oliver Pani, which hasn't got one, which means it isn't the original issue), and sometimes it means that the scarf is not an original issue (like, obviously, my Canards)?

And this is exactly why we need Hermès gurus!:smile1:

It's not frustrating to me since it's not meant to be a direct correlation in the first place.

I'm a little late, but lanit asked for a mod pic of my mousseline "Rencontre océane", so here it is!

Thank you for sharing your mousseline, dear Melora! It' a gorgeous on you!
The Chinese characters on your top read " The weather is peaceful and the water stays calm" ( it' s Chinese. But I suspect it says something like this.)
Hope the weather in Calfornia would be like this.

Croisette, LeDoux is my favorite artist as well. You have wonderful color ways for Jumping, Cosmos and Les Robes. Twins on the green Jumping even though I like your blue one more. Thanks for these educational and beautiful posts.

Coming up for a little air from my show preparations.

Croisette- Your collection is so stunning! I had to go back several pages to look at what everyone is oohing about!

I'm going to enjoy a few peeks in this week to look at everyone's scarves, though I have nothing to share right now.

Keep these beauties coming'!

Hmmmm.... I guess you're right. Daimyo was sort of an early birthday present.

But, you see (are you ready for the rationalization?) Daimyo was a scarf birthday present. What I just bought is my jewelry birthday present. :D

Oopsie! Sorry for the humongous size of the photo. I have no idea how/why that happened!

Very beautiful and contemporary ElainePG!

Elaine

Love your duckies and your earrings - very unique!

You certainly look pulled-together to me, moma! In both pictures!

I love the way you wore your "cowboy knot," just letting the ends dangle, instead of bringing them forward and fastening them. I need to remember that technique! I often get too warm when I take the last step of fastening the ends... your way looks as though it might be a bit cooler.
Thank you, Elaine. The sloppy cowboy doesn't always stay put, though. Maybe we should try this with magnets?

Silkies, I would like to share some carres of my all time favourite designer Ledoux. His themes are IMO absolutely Hermes!

1. Caparacons
2. Les Robes
3. Harnais de Cour
4. Poste d'hiver
5. La Promenade de Longchamp
6. Pavois
7. Wedgewood
8. Carossiers
9. Springs

Beautiful, Croisette. I adore L'Hiver en Poste and that gorgeous Wedgewood! :smile1:

Croisette, you have some really unusual scarves in this collection! It is wonderful to see some of the vintage Ledoux designs in your pix. Thank you! I love your blue Comédie, dear sister. :cloud9::cloud9::cloud9:
