Dear Maedi! I remember you posted ACdlV in the Spring 2014 thread! This CW was also my first choice but I had to wait because my boutique got lots of other CW first... (I actulally got CW 17 in another citiy, they had not orderd that one at all!)
Here are two pics from the Fall 2013 from the DD "Tigre Royal"... I also tried the one you saw in Frankfurt, but the peach-color was not working for me (no figure!) where as this Bronze/caramel/kaki is really easy to wear and match...

Oh, Pegase, this is BREATHTAKING. I love the colors, the prominence of the Tiger's face and the subtlety of the palm tree leaves as a backdrop. I would have fallen hard for this one, too. I wonder if this is the one I saw in Munich. But no, I think the one I saw was color 01 - could that be? Wish I had a photo. Never saw this color or 01 on line. It is stunning and thanks so much for posting you lucky guy.:smile1:

The first of a few "go-to" HS for me...New Orleans Jazz, in the 90 cm twill, which originally captivated me because of its reference to the jazz idiom, in which I lived all throughout my school years, through and including my MBA/JD days when I played lead alto sax in the jazz band at Notre Dame. My muses were Ellington, Basie and Kenton...and the compleat, elegant master of the alto, Johnny Hodges.

Love your scarf and its meaning to you. Love the color of your shirt on you and love Anfang's comment on sax players. It is a sexy instrument.:smile1:

I love the work horse theme. Such a sensible one!

Here's one of my two work horses. This is Passiflores.

(Can you tell it's still wintry around here?)

In honor of April's fool (April's fish in France: kids hang paper fish on the back of people), I'm wearing Rencontre océane, mousseline GM. I twisted the basic bias fold because it was bulky, and made a criss-cross knot with my plastic salmony-pink-ish belt-buckle-as-ring.

Scarfies,
As you all knew I hunted a Jardin de Leila coffret back in January during my trip to FSH. I was seriously debating between the blue colorway and another colorway, ended up with the blue because I love the porcelain vibe. But with my hoarding habit, you know that ain't stay for long. With H, when in doubt, buy BOTH. So here's what I hunted down to complete my greed.
Jardin de Leila coffret with its matching scarf in cw 14 Blanc/Vert/Brun (which has a lot of hunter green and fungi green along with multitude of browns).

Some modeling pics:

I have recently discovered a new way to wear my 90cm in a shawl-like way. This has become my to-go knot on days that I am deceived by the sun and walk out of the house without being armed with cashmere, hah.

This is so beautiful on you, dear Chestnutty! Congrats on getting both special issues - does the green scarf come with a Jardin perfume as well?

I don't understand why I wear these two scarves the most. Maybe it's because I like dark-coloured clothes & these two go well with them!:smile1:
Maybe it's because they look wonderful on you, dear D Lee;)!

And here is my most worn these time, Patch! Sorry to spam this thread with this one, but as a "most worn", the box was on the top of the pile. That says all! :D
I am impressed with your SA, dear Anfang - seeing these on the website, I would never in a million year had tried it on! But it does look wonderful on you!
Critters, Take II
Im joining the "Au Cour de la Vie" club in this thread ...
In the " Spring 2014..." Thread I had already posted CW 17...
This is CW 15 (with "mastix" as a ground color, a very light warm gray... The colors composition (and juxtaposition) from this particular CW, is so incredible. It achieves so much plasticity and depth... I am speechless each time I see it...
Thank you for your kind words, dear Pegase - we had a nasty mix of rain, hail and snow this weekend, so playing with the scarves indoor was the most I could do - I'll post modeling shots soon, I promise
And I love, love this CW of Au Coeur de la Vie - the details come out so vividly, it's amazing!

Beautiful scarves esp love the MP, both the recent colourways are stunning!
Thank your, dear Ms. Piggy! Your Mors is beautiful as well - such a great neutral, a perfect workhorse indeed!

Super special silk Anfang - it is no wonder you fell head over heels for it! It looks marvelous on you!

Pegase - I too fell for this one - it came in after my yellow and turquoise one. I think I have fallen in love again with it. But are 3 ACdlV too many? Must have a neutral and a bright, don't you think? The Tigre looks amazing on you and I can see it must be a workhorse (cat) for you.

This morning camellias in the garden caught my eye, and I do wear this stole every morning while taking the pup out for his morning run. Collection Equestre was the first H cashmere stole and men's silk that I purchased. I think I share ogling the men's silks as much as Anfang and Pegase. ;) Happy Spring and almost April Fool's Day.
Oh I love camellias, dear Lanit - thanks for sharing this one. And what a stylish pair you and the pup must make in the morning with this lovely scarf ;)

Anfang: your patchwork is such a surprise, as you found our yourself. It is so versatile--could you ever tire of it? And honey, what is indigo eperon d'or that is even pricier than the patch shawl? Do tell me.

CobaltBlu: your pooches are precious, especially under the blankie as Pierina's blankie of leaves almost covered her baby.

Jahnna: you are hilarious--wet and swimming--who would have thunk, huh? Honey, you send me that Les Toits, and I'll send you the kites Jacquard. Seems square to me. I love your own Patch shawl. How will you sew them together? You need to tell us your plan Stan.

Lanit: your Unicorn Shawl is spectacular! Was it love at first sight?

Paula24jen: your scarf belt and white jeans are darling together. Love the bird. Looks Pierina-esc to me

Sophieg: you sweetie! How is married life?

D Lee: your folklore is gorgeous on YOU!

Chestnutty: you are the Mistress of the thread and Queen of Silk! Love your blue Tiger---ours will have to meet and thrilled you have Phoenix. LOV-LEY! My dear.

Pegase: Love that you have Tiger too and I'll take you with or without the beard--first time I have not been in 100% agreement with my "twin" Anfang!
So far so good, dear Sparkle -thanks for asking!!

And thanks for sharing your fantastic Kermit Oliver story ! His designs don't speak to me as much as they do to some of you, but he sounds like such an interesting artist to meet!

This workhorse kept my neck warm through three days of hiking and tent-camping on the coast, DH's choice of activities for his B-Day. (This in the airport hotel bathroom on the way home...) BdeG will get a nice bath when she gets home.
Camping in style, dear 94107! Now you make me wish I had snapped a picture the day I wore my old Coaching scarf with my hard hat, safety goggles and construction boots to go inspect a site!

What a beautiful design, dear nana! Thanks for sharing - spring IS coming!

You have the prettiest poisson d'avril I've ever seen, dear Melora!

Oh my gosh!! Pegase, this cw was not released in the States or I would have pounced on it and oddly, the apricot cw was ghastly on me too. I was so excited to see it---it glows in luminosity, but ackkkk on this face. Maedi, have you tried it? It has to make someone around her glow!!

94107, you look DARLING and I love the post from an airport bathroom--like our precious Tanker Toad's posts.

nana, what a regal scarf. I admire it on evilbay often but have never seen one irl. Amazing on your gorgeous neck.

sophieg, as Pegase said, I miss your sweet smile also. Come on, drape a silk on and give us a curly smile.

Silkies, I have come over to the blue side--slowly but truly. This moussie is the first and only silk my dh has bought for me and since I have worn it (according to my spreadsheet) the most of all my silks--I declare it my work horse. (yuck--sorry about straggly hair)

Ah this thread is dangerous for a newbie like me. Now I want a moussie!
