Hi cousin! Thank you for your sweet comment! I really love the colors in so many of the Zebra Pegasus scarves! Really hard to pick a favorite. The sales director of our store picked this out for me and while I was trying it on I said, "I don't think I have any orange scarves." He said, YES, I think you have quite a few orange scarves....... What color do you have?

Today's collection: hot air balloons and other "flying devices"! There are 18 of them on Les Folies du Ciel. I took a closeup of my favorite: "Paz Universal" (Universal Peace: a lovely sentiment!).



Here it is, loosely held together with a Mai Tai shawl ring, and then done in a Cowboy Knot.

I had no idea it was reissued, cherryblossum! What year? I bought mine in around 1987-88, and I think it was issued in 1984... is that right? So the boutique sold me either an old one they had hanging around, or one that someone had returned. (I recently read that the boutiques used to have a much more liberal return policy than they have now!)

I would love to see yours... we will be "scarf cousins"!

I bought mine on H. com, so it was reissued in this century, a few years ago! I'm sorry I don't know the exact year of reissue. The back ground is without ombre effect. There is a delivertive design too.Les Folies du Ciel Ⅱ

Dear cousin,

Mine it's Vieux rose/noir/gris bleute... as much as I love orange, since I have stopped colouring my hair, I'm know a "fox"lady, orange doesn't suit me anymore...
BTW can anyone begin a thread about pairing your Hermès with your "colours" .. remember the Colour me Beautiful era... we can do "Hermès me beautiful"...:lolots::lolots::lolots:

This is gorgeous - the drawing of the border is incredible and the color is great on you!

You're right... it's the curve that makes it so delightful to work with.

I never had luck with the cowboy knot until I followed Mai Tai's video... there's an extra "fold" in there that I never knew about! Plus, I always used to knot the ends... now I fasten them with a little scarf ring, and the ends stay put for longer (makes it smoother, too). It's her "Moyenne" size, in Rosewood... I figured, being wood, it would slip less than horn. And I was right!

OK, thanks, I will revisit that viddie!

Beautiful CW! We are cousins as I have this scarf in the Bordeaux and camel CW. I never appreciated what a beautiful border it had until it was shown here during botanical week.
