If I was forced to pick a favorite scarf designer, it would be Annie Faivre. My first combination of the week: Aux Pays des Epices. It's a collection of different spices... right?;)

(Oh, and if you look at the second picture, cherryblossum, you can see that I'm wearing my lucky Hamseh pendant at my neck. :smile1: )

Aux Pays des Epices! This is the scarf which caught my eye on MaiTai 's web site. Your cw is also one of the best cw's of Aux Pays des Epices! I wish the design will be reissued someday! Thank you for sharing your Hamseh pendant, too! Aux Pays des Epices works well with your pendant!!! :smile1:Oriental taste!

Yup! Here you go~

Thank you so much,TT! Your collections, I mean, both, are too adorable!

Thank you so much for sharing your scarves and shawls as always, dear Croisette7! Your postings are lessons to me! Tibet seems very precious and fresh to me. Could we see your modeling pic in carré someday? Have nice holidays!

Oh the multi-quote thing doesn't seem to be working!
But thanks Maedi! I am curious to find out who my "twins" are.
Thank you Momasaurus! The scale that was shown on ElenK was a lucky fold; and then how the scarves were twisted together. I was surprised to see that they actually share many of the same colors. I don't think I would be able to get that same twist again if I tried.:D
Thank you Cherryblossum! Kimonos it shall be. That is a great name for the combo!

Thank you, sweet cherryblossum! Mai Tai has a few pictures of Aux Pays des Epices; in one of them, she is wearing it as a belt, with the center of the scarf turned to the front. It looks so beautiful, but then again, everything looks beautiful on Mai Tai! I have never worn one of my scarves as a belt... I am just not the correct shape. (A bit too short, a bit too curvy... my waist is small, but then my hips... :p)

Today's collection: hot air balloons and other "flying devices"! There are 18 of them on Les Folies du Ciel. I took a closeup of my favorite: "Paz Universal" (Universal Peace: a lovely sentiment!).

Here it is, loosely held together with a Mai Tai shawl ring, and then done in a Cowboy Knot.

Hope Mistress Lisa won't kick my bum out of here as I'm off theme again.
I just recently rehomed a pretty Folklore summer silk GM from a fellow scarfie. She's so gorgy and I'm a happy girl .

And, of course, the neon green border can be tied away, revealing the beautiful Pucci-esque centre.

Happy Sunday everyone!

Wow verry pretty :graucho:

Thank you for all the beautiful and inspiration pictures ladies . :D
Time to get my scarves out the orange boxes ;)

First, I'm going to get me a shawl ring! I have flat slides that work nicely on larger formats, but the gentle curve of MaiTai's shawl ring is really lovely. Second, I need to practice my cowboy knot more assiduously. I've never actually been able to leave the house with a successful rendition of this knot. Thank you! :D:D:D:D

You're right... it's the curve that makes it so delightful to work with.

I never had luck with the cowboy knot until I followed Mai Tai's video... there's an extra "fold" in there that I never knew about! Plus, I always used to knot the ends... now I fasten them with a little scarf ring, and the ends stay put for longer (makes it smoother, too). It's her "Moyenne" size, in Rosewood... I figured, being wood, it would slip less than horn. And I was right! ;)
