Thank you for taking the time to post these while you're on holiday, croisette. This is the first time I've had a really good look at Zabavushka... what an incredible amount of detail is stuffed into that square of silk! It almost reminds me of a Chagall painting; I expect to see someone flying overhead!;)

Oh, florasun, of course Colliers de Chien counts as a collection! And it looks splendid with your new Fendi bag. Congrats on your new purchase... the CW is so rich and elegant.

This is a wonderful pairing. Do you & I have the same CW in ELenK? I don't know the name of the CW, but the "waves" in mine are navy & white, and the crane is sort of brown & rust.

Thank you Elaine! I believe we do have the same CW. My tag says it is CW 08, sepia, cobalt, coral. Have I mentioned how much I love your pays d'epice? Lovely colors!

Hello my sweet friends! I know it has been a looooooong time since my last post. School is off to a great start, and I am finally caught up with grading and teacher things. :smile1: Before the workweek gets crazy (loving every minute of it!), I thought I'd share one of my new fall scarves.
Is this Enabling Week? If so, I remember Maedi asking about a particular Zebra Pegasus 04. This one is for her......

Yay, a Ladybaga smile! And love the scarf, too.

Oh, you're right! Turns out I did have the CW# after all, and it is 08. So we're scarf twins!

Thank you for the compliment on Aux Pays des Epices. :smile1: I've been hunting for that one for a while, but never saw a CW I liked until recently. I really like the way the spices stand out against the charcoal grey background. I had been afraid that the spices themselves wouldn't show when the scarf was worn, since in the photos it seemed that they were just in the center of the scarf, but I got some advice on knotting on the Reference Thread, and that encouraged me to go ahead with the purchase. (That, plus having it authenticated by our wonderful authenticators!:D What would we do without them?) I also think it would look nice knotted (or fastened with a scarf ring) at the side of the neck, with one "tail" hanging in the front, and the other down the back. Then the center would really stand out. So many wonderful ways to wear these carrés!

Birkinmary, what a combo - so beautiful!

Florasun, CdD is lovely in these colors. I think you're twins w/sparkle.

Croisette, such eye candy. Your color of Raconteur-mois so soft and special!

Sparkle, you are a most fabulous scarf mistress. I hope things will smooth out.

Ladybaga, oh have I missed you! Thank you for the magnificent posting of your Zebra Pegasus.

Elaine, your scarves are so thoughtfully chosen and combined.

Croissette ,
Hope you are having a wonderful vacation. So nice to take time out for us to share more of your beautiful scarves. My favourites - the Cavaliers D'or and Les Cles! :smile1:

I know, right? I only got mine recently, found one in the CW I wanted at AFF and was thrilled at the condition when it arrived (always nervous until I''m actually holding it in my hands, you know?;)). If I had to be on a desert island with just one carré, it would be ELEK, because it looks different every time I knot it!

Thank you for inspiring me to try "pairing" it... I would have said it couldn't be done, but I would have been so wrong!
:cool::cool::cool:

I don't think I have any carres that meet the "collections" theme, unless you take my group of carres as a collection, LOL! But how about a GM with a collection of dog collars? I went to the boutique yesterday intent on getting one thing, but walked out with this instead! Here is Esmerelda modeling Colliers de Chien. In the last photo she is tying it with a MaiTai shawl ring and carrying a small Fendi crossbody bag.
