Hello my sweet friends! I know it has been a looooooong time since my last post. School is off to a great start, and I am finally caught up with grading and teacher things. :smile1: Before the workweek gets crazy (loving every minute of it!), I thought I'd share one of my new fall scarves.
Is this Enabling Week? If so, I remember Maedi asking about a particular Zebra Pegasus 04. This one is for her......

Ladybaga, I thought those dang kids had eaten you alive. I am SO HAPPY to see your gorgeous self--all in orange no doubt. :smooch:

Oh, you're right! Turns out I did have the CW# after all, and it is 08. So we're scarf twins!

Thank you for the compliment on Aux Pays des Epices. :smile1: I've been hunting for that one for a while, but never saw a CW I liked until recently. I really like the way the spices stand out against the charcoal grey background. I had been afraid that the spices themselves wouldn't show when the scarf was worn, since in the photos it seemed that they were just in the center of the scarf, but I got some advice on knotting on the Reference Thread, and that encouraged me to go ahead with the purchase. (That, plus having it authenticated by our wonderful authenticators!:D What would we do without them?) I also think it would look nice knotted (or fastened with a scarf ring) at the side of the neck, with one "tail" hanging in the front, and the other down the back. Then the center would really stand out. So many wonderful ways to wear these carrés!

Love your Spice scarf. You wear it so elegantly.

Croisette, falling over your collection, A G A I N.

Hi everyone! I never think I have much to contribute to theme week until I take a peek in my drawers. I'm always surprised that something ends up working even if it's a very loose interpretation.

I also worked my clic H enamels into some pictures because I have a small collection of those too.

Les Sportives - a collection of outfits?? I know..,I know. A bit if a stretch. And my fav way to wear it in a cowboy knot.

Boat collection - CherryBlossum posted the light blue cw here. I LOVE that one but it never came to my local boutique. So I had to make due with the gray one. Still beautiful in its own right.

MYH: I giggled and then gasped at your Picos! Love the sights. Thanks hun!!

I am wearing Carré en carrés and was sad that it didn't meet the theme, until I realized that it's a collection of scarves! So.... View attachment 2766235

....and in Turquoise no doubt! Lovely sweet momasaurus

cherryblossum - this looks so elegant on you. Very tempted to find a twin to yours.:graucho:

Silkies - so many pages to catch up on! This is definitely one of my favorite theme weeks! My contribution for the day...

Love my seashells - Rocaille and Rocaille II - I feel positively greedy having both in blues but they do 'read' very different. One is more periwinkle/lavender and the other more steel blues and warm browns. I have been paying attention LadyB and Maedi! Brown is featured in my fall wardrobe as well as midnight blue.

Gorgeous as always dear Lanit!

Moma- it sure does - and please do not let theme week deter you from your great posts!

For the mousseline and milifleuri lovers - Sulfures in cobalt.
Dang...you are making me weep with jealousy! Looks gorgy on you. Are we twins on the Colliers? Thanks for the compliments.

Sparklelisab - I hope whatever is keeping you away will soon be ovah! I love my little picos. They definitely suit my LA farmer market lifestyle! I think I need another color. Oy vey. But I am only interested in the MM size - the one size that is impossible to find. *Sigh* I will be patient and continue to wait....

Lanit - you have outdone yourself with the real life collection of sea shells and the two color ways you have in Rocaille. I agree - they are both so different. No need to feel greedy.

This is such a fascinating scarf, cherryblossum! The combination of sailing ships and orchids is just wonderful, and the CW is so subtle and beautiful. The orchid border looks as though it's been done in pen-and-ink.

It really hasn't been out of its orange box yet? Naughty girl!;)

Beautiful croisette! I am always drawn to Cavaliers d'Or for some reason...
Cherryblossum and ElainePG- Love your scarves! I can see I am going to need to do some research on working with square scarves...my attempts so far have been a little pitiful!

Oh, bunnycat, it just takes a little patience.:smile1:

For years, I only used the same two knots. But now, with the Internet, there are so many wonderful videos that I am learning many new ways to tie my carrés. You must know, though, that this is an entirely new adventure for me! In fact, until recently, I only had one scarf ring... I bought it at an Hermès boutique years ago... and I had no Idea how to use it!

What fabulous collections, MYH! I especially like the "attitude" of Les Sportives. Such a great 1930s look!

Birkinmary, what a combo - so beautiful!

Florasun, CdD is lovely in these colors. I think you're twins w/sparkle.

Croisette, such eye candy. Your color of Raconteur-mois so soft and special!

Sparkle, you are a most fabulous scarf mistress. I hope things will smooth out.

Ladybaga, oh have I missed you! Thank you for the magnificent posting of your Zebra Pegasus.

Elaine, your scarves are so thoughtfully chosen and combined.
Thank you, Maedi!
