Thank you, my sweet friends!!! Maedi, I am on Spring Break but it is drawing to a close. How about you?
Pierina, the other turquoise cuff is made up of four rows of small turquoise stones. I believe it is Zuni. Thank you for the shawl love. I still think that you wear "our" pink Kachinas the BEST!!!

Still not certain that I agree with you, Ladybaga! Clearly you have the more authentic locale. :D

Hello from LAX! Just went to H, were prices are slightly higher than in CDG ($435 for a 90 scarf, $180 for a gavroche). I saw 5 different Jardin de Leila folded side by side, and they do seem gorgeous :)

Thank you IF! :smile1:

Many thanks, pierina! :smile1: Yes, you can get to my somewhat clumsy :p first attempt at a how-to video, via my signature link! I thought I'd do a blog…still have just the one page!

What a cute picture of you, Ladyb! Looking so lovely in your Kachinas! :smile1:

Thank you, etoile! As of now, it is sitting in the freezer in a plastic bag to freshen up. That seems to do the job if I don't want to dry clean it.

...and it has got a critter D Lee! Good one!

WELCOME TO CRITTER WEEK!!

I already posted a bunch of critters (see L'Arbre de Vie)

but here are two of my favorite critters (for real) My beloved basset, Nellie and her "personal rodent" (as FIL calls her) "Tissa" (a "tame" wild rabbit named by my granddaughter for... 'Tis a bunny"). Tissa does not mind Nellie except for the morning when she looked up to see Nellie chewing on the other end of her carrot. Did a 180 in midair and was outta there!:

and their scarf counterparts, "Auteuil en Mai" and "Les Bles":

The bunnies in Les Bles are my favorite Hermes critters, I think. Tissa and Nellie are adorable!

Love this!

Jahna, I love your critters. Here is a detail of my Au Coeur de la Vie. I'm not really wearing it this way, I got a minor burn on the back of my neck last week so am keeping my H's away from the Vaseline based treatments. There are many, many critters on this beauty.

Jahna, what a wonderful way to start our theme week. Your photos make me smile and enjoy the view of spring and charming critters.

Beekmanhill, a lovely and fresh combination and love the green jacket with your new silk. Take care of the neck, ouch, it sounds like it will need some soothing silk post ointment phase.

Has been just a recipient of the wonderful shots on this site. Time to contribute. My only yellow scarf is actually a shawl but it is chilly and sunny today so allow me to show off Ceintures et Liens. With so much yellow, this is really a Spring/Summer shawl. I think I need a bag in Souffre !!

I am lovin' that chkpfbeliever and if I had seen it in the boutique I'd be modeling it as a twinsie with you.

Eperon d' Or, which as much yellow as anything in the collection other than the black/gold Eperon, which I deemed too formal for a casual Friday. Worn with a Breton-style cotton sweater, which had grail-status until I found this on sale on the Brooks Brothers website last week.

Add a jaunty Greek fisherman's cap and a small but well-outfitted yacht, and you'd be the new Thor Heyerdahl blithely sailing round the globe, hermesguy!

As nearly retired "scarf mistress" (BTW, who among us - maybe 2 of us? - is going to take over? Chestnutty has already outlined all the themes: Chestnutty, can you please re-post? ...so initial work is done) anyway, back to "As nearly retired "scarf mistress"..., I have further suggestions for "CRITTER WEEK" fun:

1. Show us how you tie a scarf to "expose/show off" the critter.

2. Where is the hardest-to-find critter? (I am inspired here by all the entries on "FOOD" week by the inventive people here, scrutinizing their scarves for not only food but "potential" food; got me to thinking about scarves in a new and exciting way.

3. Find the "monkey". Annie Faivre's signature critter appears in very surprising places and I think deserves a spot here even though it is not Annie Faivre week.

4. Anyone have a pet? Yes Sparkle, there must be a pygmy goat in a scarf someplace... Pets can include not only your cat, dog, horse, llama, etc. but also your favorite bug? fish? (I have a lizard who is shy; if I can get a picture I will post it along with several of the scarves with lizards.)

Just sayin' here, it should be a fun week with a lot of possibilities for interesting details and scarf ties (I need those!!)
