Beautiful scarves, everyone. I haven't seen any plisses lately. Just sayin'.

As nearly retired "scarf mistress" (BTW, who among us - maybe 2 of us? - is going to take over? Chestnutty has already outlined all the themes: Chestnutty, can you please re-post? ...so initial work is done) anyway, back to "As nearly retired "scarf mistress"..., I have further suggestions for "CRITTER WEEK" fun:
1. Show us how you tie a scarf to "expose/show off" the critter.
2. Where is the hardest-to-find critter? (I am inspired here by all the entries on "FOOD" week by the inventive people here, scrutinizing their scarves for not only food but "potential" food; got me to thinking about scarves in a new and exciting way.
3. Find the "monkey". Annie Faivre's signature critter appears in very surprising places and I think deserves a spot here even though it is not Annie Faivre week.
4. Anyone have a pet? Yes Sparkle, there must be a pygmy goat in a scarf someplace... Pets can include not only your cat, dog, horse, llama, etc. but also your favorite bug? fish? (I have a lizard who is shy; if I can get a picture I will post it along with several of the scarves with lizards.)
Just sayin' here, it should be a fun week with a lot of possibilities for interesting details and scarf ties (I need those!!)
Thx Anfang, this is the moussie I love & actually use!Wow !! Congrats, my dear!
Yes, I saw Monceau modelled that one & ran to H to get it. But that heavenly cw wasn't in yet & they were displaying this red/fuchsia one which I bought rightaway.DLee guepards is stunning on you. I was keen on the pale neutral version, but could not justify another neutral guepards silk. Love fuschia.
So practically u can buy any color u like! No need to worry if it goes well with u or not!Thx pierina! I love cats but H seldom does cats, so I resigned myself to getting these big cats instead! This is splendid, D Lee!! The colors are just marvelous!!

Thx Jahna! Love Nellie & Tissa & particularly their scarf counterparts. How I wish I could have a dog as friendly as Nellie! Two of my cats fight all the time. OMG! They happen to be littermates separated at birth but reunited at 6!...and it has got a critter D Lee! Good one!
WELCOME TO CRITTER WEEK!!
I already posted a bunch of critters (see L'Arbre de Vie)
but here are two of my favorite critters (for real) My beloved basset, Nellie and her "personal rodent" (as FIL calls her) "Tissa" (a "tame" wild rabbit named by my granddaughter for... 'Tis a bunny"). Tissa does not mind Nellie except for the morning when she looked up to see Nellie chewing on the other end of her carrot. Did a 180 in midair and was outta there!:

What a lovely scarf! Such vibrant colors! Good that it's not in the shop now. Otherwise very motivated to escape from Ban Island again. The second H scarf I purchased on ebay. Love the design because it makes me think of Hawaii and the south pacific and the beautiful fish we have seen snorkeling.
And this CW has all my fav colors in it.

Yes, I saw your post & I was beyond redemption. I called my SA numerous times within the day. He thought it was an emergency. I told him I wanted the blue au coeur de la vie. I was VERY worried that popular cws would not last the day! Thx for enabling! As some of you know on the 2014 thread, I have gotten hooked on AuCoeur deLaVie.
Now own it in 4 CWs (3 from this release, and one from the original release).
This pic is from the original release (red border). Love all the different creatures, from lemurs, monkeys to dragon fly, birds, butterflies and can you see the poisonous red tree frog?

Lovely birds! I hope your burn heals soon! So u can do mod shots again!Jahna, I love your critters. Here is a detail of my Au Coeur de la Vie. I'm not really wearing it this way, I got a minor burn on the back of my neck last week so am keeping my H's away from the Vaseline based treatments. There are many, many critters on this beauty.
The latest moussie I've got. I also got it in 90. Love it!

...and it has got a critter D Lee! Good one!

Oh how I ADORE Critter Week!
Silkies, my dear friends, I turn the BIG 50 today and am wearing one of my new shawls to celebrate, and it has no critters, but I have FOUR new baby goats that will debut on this thread this week. I hope the mods don't kick me off if I overdo it.
You are such a special part of my life. I am most certainly wallet poorer due to your friendship however, and do think about winning the lotto and robbing banks more often as well, but we can pretend I didn't say that.

Congrats on healthy happy babies, you must post photos, they must be truly adorable.
Thx LB! I am glad u like my moussie. It really took me quite a bit of time to decide between the gorgeous Guepards modelled by Monceau & the fuchsia/red moussie I saw at the boutique. I finally made the plunge & never looked back.D Lee, I DO believe that this is my favorite moussie of yours! Wow!! I love the pops of fuchsia along with the various colors! You paired this perfectly with your sweater. I want to go back and look at your pretty picture again! Really GORGEOUS!!!!![]()
