It's been a crazy week, but I achieved my goals: find a house and a school :) I still managed to try to honor yellow with my KO. It's surprising, I didn't like it much, but now I wear it all the time.
Maybe I'll comment on everybody's pictures while waiting for my plane later ;)

Melora, I too envy your knotting skills! I'm going to try this one today and see if I can replicate. :D

Micheldietlin, very handsome! I love the casual elegance of the silk. Superb!

Lovely scarf and great way to tie it!!

You look fabulous in your suit and Psyche scarf!!! Very stylish!!

So sweet, Ladybaga! Another one besides the gorgeous one you're wearing here? I love your leather jacket, know I've said that before but it's still true. :graucho:

Gorgeous, etoile de mer, it's the one you use to show how to do that delightful knot, isn't it? Very graceful and feminine, and perfect with your horn pieces. :smile1:

Love this nautical look, and could easily see Cary Grant in it. And of course Grace would have an H scarf over her hair...

Beautiful, just beautiful!!

Such a terrific setting for this shawl, Ladybaga,, and you look so pretty in 'our' Kachinas!! Like the donkey too. :smile1:

This is glorious, Ladybaga, and you carry the most beautiful, finely selected bags. I love how you carry such a variety of bags and give them equal love :smile1:. Are you on spring break yet?

chkpfbeliever, you look great with this shawl! Pairing it with Soufre would be a perfect match!

Great Kachinas, Ladybaga, and such a funny background with this donkey! A beautiful Goyard, too! ;)

I totally agree, Maedi! My first scarves mainly had white/off white background, and a plain colored border. That was in the 60s! And I'm glad to hear I'm not alone on the no-black-scarves thing! :D

What a lovely "sunny" pic, and I don't just mean the weather. Great taste in bags too, you are one lucky lady!

Thank you, my sweet friends!!! Maedi, I am on Spring Break but it is drawing to a close. How about you?
Pierina, the other turquoise cuff is made up of four rows of small turquoise stones. I believe it is Zuni. Thank you for the shawl love. I still think that you wear "our" pink Kachinas the BEST!!!

Has been just a recipient of the wonderful shots on this site. Time to contribute. My only yellow scarf is actually a shawl but it is chilly and sunny today so allow me to show off Ceintures et Liens. With so much yellow, this is really a Spring/Summer shawl. I think I need a bag in Souffre !!

Chkp, we've missed your lovely pics! CeL looks super sunny on you!

Everyone looks FABULOUS in their scarves, shawls, and mousselines.
Here is another KO from me to you!
Kachinas shawl. The donkey photo bombed my pic! Hahaha!!!View attachment 2551153

Lol, donkey just adds to the charm of your ensemble. Love the combo here. How do you like the Goyard compared to H?

Hi lanit!! Thank you, my dear!! I love Goyard ! My two cheats on Hermes are Goyard and Chanel flaps. The Sac Vendome in this pic is about a year and a half. A great rain purse and not as heavy as the Birkin because it is mostly canvass lined in yellow cloth. I got to customize mine at a special event at Bergdorf. The other side has two vertical stripes with my two initials LV.
( kinda funny as many think its a Louis Vuitton.) I own a few other Goyards but not the St Louis tote. I highly recommend Goyard. Thanks for asking.

Wanted to add that St Louis totes are great, too. I just don't own any since I have a couple of LV Neverfulls. Those are work horses! I use those as my briefcase for school. As much as I love the variety of colors offered in St Louis totes, I can't justify having both. Sorry to be off topic! I love the French!!! Francophile , I am!!!!

That's too cute!!! I adore you saying you love the French! Soooo kind of ypu my dear! France and French love you back! ❤️

Ahh this looks so light and delicate, absolutely perfect Etoile de mer.

Fab. You are rocking that old-world elegance.

Thanks so much, Nico and seton! :smile1:

I too wish they would, etoile de mer, these pale mousselines are stunners!
I couldn't really tell my taste changed during all this time. But I wear my scarves, and obviously my look turned different. When a young girl, I was mostly given pastel scarves, and I looked faded in these! I especially remember I received a pale blue Courbettes et Cabrioles, didn't suit me at all... I wanted to have bright colors! And I got them! Bright reds, pinks, neon greens, bright yellows and orange were my most worn. At that time, I had long brown hair, I never went out without any makeup, I looked very different! Aging, my hair turned white, I had to give up with strong makeup colors, and so did I with scarves. The more whiter my hair, the more darker my scarves. The only point I stick is : never, ever, a black background, I never could deal with this, young or old, go figure!

So interesting, Anfang, just a natural, and gradual process of choosing what suits you best! Oh, and I love Courbettes et Cabrioles, I wish they would reissue it. Regarding black background scarves, they don't suit me either. I was tempted by the new black/green Au Cœur de la Vie, and had to remind myself to just admire it on others! ;)

I love the way you are working the soft neutrals of the mous with the tonal contrast of your darker accessories. Very chic. Very well thought out and pulled together, etoile.

Many thanks, eagle! :smile1:

This combo sends me over the moon
So neutral yet so striking to me....

Thank you IF! :smile1:

Many thanks, pierina! :smile1: Yes, you can get to my somewhat clumsy :p first attempt at a how-to video, via my signature link! I thought I'd do a blog…still have just the one page!

Everyone looks FABULOUS in their scarves, shawls, and mousselines.
