Thank you, your collection is superb! It's such a treat to see some of the older scarves here too.

pierina welcome back! Glad to read you like my twilly :)

Thank you, love this nice coral color on you too. What a huge unpacking job you'll have when your container arrives! QUOTE]

Wow, the silk Tigre just glows!! And you can resist the cheerful birdies.

You're very welcome. :smile1: Can you tell me a little about the breed, their personality and size, and are they typically that color? Dougal's very appealing!

Another vote of appreciation for your L'Instruction, especially in jacquard. It was well worth the search.
Thank you, Pierina2 ;);):balloon:

Vitamina H, Melora24, katekluet many thanks for your lovely comments - it encourages me to wear it more often :) this scarf has to see light!

Oh, I simply can not sell this scarf as it was handed down to me as a gift plus it was my first H scarf. I've been to H to find a scarf ring for it and there was an older, experienced SA who got very excited when he saw my scarf telling me it is from the mid-70s, still has its original folds and is for such a light colour in very good condition. I guess this let my shy away in respect for this oldie from wearing it in the first place :)

katekluet's suggestion sounds good to me. Let's see how your lovely Farandole looks on bold or vibrant.

Oh Pierina, I helping my ds plant a tree for dh on Father's Day, and had a fit! Even with gloves, dirt got on my hands, they sweat, and my nails were hideous. How on earth can you WEED??? I did catch a cute little king snake though. So happy to see your lovely self despite your horrible hobby.:smooch:

seton, love your blues. I too wear a scarf days at a time. This summer, it's one mousse a week.

Maedi, I love that we share the Bird Dance love. Will post this week

momasaurus, you have some fabulous silk but your lips got me. I tell Anfang to gets some lippy on those beauties in my bossy way, all said with love and can't wait to see some Chanel red on you too!

Thank you so much, Pierina.

Vitamina H, Anfang, Sparklelisab.....there are plenty of strapping young lads on the ship, so I will make room for you;)

I don't think I have any commemorative issues in my small collection. This is probably my only limited edition silky. The silk does feel like my vintage Vera Neumann's. Sorry it is too hot to model this baby today, hope you don't mind seeing it laying on piano bench. Have a fab Sunday, my friends!
Making room for us sounds a very good idea, my dear Carrelover! I'm in! And your limited edition is a thing of beauty!

Hello dear scarfies! I have been quite busy settling in the past week. I didn't find time to comment on your lovely islands, but your choices of scarves were as beautiful as usually.
Anfang, ladybaga, I'm happy to see you're both back!

Can someone tell me why I've been cold for the past 2 weeks? All my long sleeve shirts are on a boat. In the meantime, I'm wearing the same cardigans over and over, and I wish I could find sweaters in stores ;)

Cowboy knot seems to be the only way to stay warm, and I guess Raconte-moi le cheval could be considered history ;)
Thank you for the warm welcome back my dear Melora! I hope your move is as smooth as possible! Sorry hearing about the cold weather, though...

Dear Scarfies, here is my Sunday-contribution for the weekly theme:View attachment 2661479View attachment 2661483View attachment 2661484View attachment 2661486View attachment 2661488View attachment 2661493View attachment 2661494View attachment 2661495

Croisette! Your collex is crazy beautiful!

there are second hand stores or ebay if you're really in need of a sweater. :smile1:

Reconte Moi actually IS a commemorative scarf. It was pre-issued for Harrods' 150th anniversary. It came in 3 or 4 cws. I actually preferred the cws of the reissues.
seton, this Raconte Moi le Cheval is over-cute!

One more of Fairytales and then my Raconte-moi (triplets with seton and melora).

Seton, I agree with you and view it as more purple (lavender). I wouldn't put it in the blue category.

Melora, JCrew has merino wool and cashmere sweaters year round.:smile1: Stay warm. Columbia Sportswear also has warmer and practical summer jackets.
Maedi, I can't tell which is the best : your beautiful scarves or your incentive smile! :smile1:

Gah, Croisette! You did it again! This is outstanfing!

Yesterday I made my first stop at Coach. This "twilly" catched my eye. I don't know if I'll wear it or leave it on my purse. I achieved something that almost looks like a nice bow, so maybe I'll keep it forever ;)

That doesn't stop me from showing you my Fête de la couleur gavroche. The benefits were donated to Unicef.
I deeply love this Fête de la Couleur, my dear Melora!

Welcome back, pierina! O, how u know to massage me! :shame: Are you sure you wont adopt me?

I usually pick one scarf every yr and seem to wear it to death. This yr, it seems to be this Tohu. I've already worn it 5 times more than I've had in all the yrs I've had it.
Gosh darn, seton! I'm not a Tohu Bohu girl (please ladies don't flame me...) but this one !!! OMG

Dear all, sorry for being late to show you a model pic of my farandole scarf :( i needed my time to reach out for it.View attachment 2663317
like you suggested i tried it with a light blue shirt and showing a bit of the Green in the scarf - i like it :) but still think it's screaming pale and a bit of granny... Can't help, it's pretty, but.. Maybe it's only due to my poor knotting skills :)

Enjoy your Day!
Love your farandole scarf, FloraFlannel!

Dear Scarfies, my black TR GM has got a companion this morning:View attachment 2663527View attachment 2663528View attachment 2663529

And you too, momasaurus! Major congrats, all are superb!

Aughghghghg just lost it and squealed at work!! Oh Croisette, we have similar loves. I just brought the Bird Dance scarf home with me too!! And you know I have both your Tigers.... LOVE!
You have the orange Tiger too, sparklelisab?? Too many tigers home, maybe uh? In this case, I could be of some help! :graucho:;)

Special mention to seton:
Wearing France's jersey and a scarf with parme corners! :D :p ;)
My dear Melora, a rooster, a France's jersey, all the best! :D:tup: Sorry ladies, a French moment...:D
