Oh, no, i don't dare to do that! :) but will have a look at the thread

@all: Thank you so much for your input and suggestions - I'll definitely start to wear it, maybe it doesn't wash me out that much as i thought

Dear all, sorry for being late to show you a model pic of my farandole scarf :( i needed my time to reach out for it.ImageUploadedByPurseForum1403595448.471797.jpg
like you suggested i tried it with a light blue shirt and showing a bit of the Green in the scarf - i like it :) but still think it's screaming pale and a bit of granny... Can't help, it's pretty, but.. Maybe it's only due to my poor knotting skills :)

Enjoy your Day!

Welcome back, pierina! O, how u know to massage me! :shame: Are you sure you wont adopt me?

I usually pick one scarf every yr and seem to wear it to death. This yr, it seems to be this Tohu. I've already worn it 5 times more than I've had in all the yrs I've had it.
OMG Seton, what a beauty! I have the framboise GM, but this one is so gorgeous esp. with your outfit!

Yesterday I made my first stop at Coach. This "twilly" catched my eye. I don't know if I'll wear it or leave it on my purse. I achieved something that almost looks like a nice bow, so maybe I'll keep it forever ;)

That doesn't stop me from showing you my Fête de la couleur gavroche. The benefits were donated to Unicef.

Melora, gorgeous colors on your gavroche!

Seton, how I would love, love, love to have your exact Tohu! I would wear her all the time too!

FloraFlanell, I think you look wonderful! Your Farandole looks super with pale blue. I like the way you knotted it too!:smile1: I wonder if you would like it in a necklace knot so that you get a bit more of the main scarf and a bit less of the cream border? No worries though my dear, no granny look here!

One more of Fairytales and then my Raconte-moi (triplets with seton and melora).

Maedi, your Fairytales cw is gorgeous on you! I love it! I adore your RM too. That is just the sweetest design, really!

What fun catching up with all of the gorgeous scarves from the last few weeks!

sparkle - Thank you for introducing the theme weeks so well! The colors of your new Offrandes are just delicious and I loved your Latham scarf with the chartreuse/cobalt-purple. Many congratulations on your perfect Belles cashmere and the stunning Jige. What a gorgeous combination!

foulard_addict - Such a mouth-watering shot of the three Les Cles silks together. :smile1:

lanit - You're a black and white scarf hoarder indeed, but what a scrumptious haul!! They all look so nice on you too. :woohoo:

Wonderful, subtle black and white collection, Anfang! I adore how the pattern of the water on the rocks from the desert island is so reminiscent of your mousseline's pattern. Very clever.

scarf 1 - Congrats on your new Voyage de Pytheas, such an intriguing pattern. I'm another who's jealous of the beautiful blues and greens in your Faceties.

Fantastic pics of your treasures, papertiger! The special Grand Tenue is particularly wonderful and I bet it looks stunning on you. Great pictures. :yahoo:

You have quite a handsome stash of black and white treasures too, birkinmary. Your Phaeton is a knock out! Why don't I have a Brazil pareo, must do something about that.....

Jahna, the orange Clacques aux Vents is so striking, and thanks for posting the original artwork too. I chuckled over your Grand Vents - such a quirky scarf. :D

Croisette7 - Lots of wonderful scarves in your collection! Congratulations on finding that handsome Tigre GM. It's so exciting to find a grail. :smile1:

Kitty S. - Beuatiful Equatuer!! The dusky purples are very appealing.

Le Robinson Chic is indeed the perfect choice for a desert island, CocoSoCo. Pass the margaritas please?

NestGirl - Congrats on the terrific new Sergio Ludere maxi twilly!
Pierina2 thank you for your compliments, all your pictures are a wonderful inspiration for me!

pierina welcome back! Glad to read you like my twilly :)

seton your tohu is really a nice warm blue. Or do you call that parme too???? (sorry, couldn't resist)

Maedi I think I'll have to see if I can put it in my hair. They had other models, but the "regular" Coach design didn't appeal to me.

FloraFlanell your knot is nice! But if you don't like it, you should take a look at MaiTai's blog (called MaiTai's picture book), you may find ideas to knot your scarf. Explore it on a computer, though. The mobile version is not good and hides the list of knots.

And if you still don't feel good with yous scarf, you also could sell it and buy another one instead ;) I did it with a scarf that looked bad on me, and have absolutely no regrets :)

Croisette, your DD TR is just phenomenal! The cw just glows and the scarf ring is beautiful too! Also, I have to say the Oiseaux is also super gorgeous! We are twins on this one;). Isn't the back side just awesome too? I am never sure which side I like better! :D
Thank you Vitamina, it's not a scarf ring but a CDC-bangle matching the DD optimal.
I have turned the Bal Oiseaux and you are right, it's funny.

Floraflanell, have you tried the scarf on a deep color, rich brown or green or even black? That may make it pop. It is a lovely color and design.
Pierina, thanks! Yes my avatar is Dougal, my Tibetan Terrier, and I have another, Harrison...great dogs!
I always enjoy seeing how you use your blues and greens and coordinate things so beautifully, have learned a lot from your posts.
Croisette, that TR just glows! Stunning.

Croisette, I love your TR and your bangle! This season I'm into pinkish orange, and that would be a great match!

Momasaurus, Vitamina H, thanks for my gavroche. Here a some mod pics. (and I have no idea why I'm upside down!)

Vitamina H, Melora24, katekluet many thanks for your lovely comments - it encourages me to wear it more often :) this scarf has to see light!

Oh, I simply can not sell this scarf as it was handed down to me as a gift plus it was my first H scarf. I've been to H to find a scarf ring for it and there was an older, experienced SA who got very excited when he saw my scarf telling me it is from the mid-70s, still has its original folds and is for such a light colour in very good condition. I guess this let my shy away in respect for this oldie from wearing it in the first place :)

Dear Scarfies, my black TR GM has got a companion this morning:View attachment 2663527View attachment 2663528View attachment 2663529

and some lovely birdies came along!

Magnificent!!! This jumped into my mind the second I saw that beautiful RT:

The Tiger
William Blake
Tiger Tiger. burning bright,
In the forests of the night;
What immortal hand or eye.
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?

In what distant deeps or skies.
Burnt the fire of thine eyes?
On what wings dare he aspire?
What the hand, dare seize the fire?

And what shoulder, & what art,
Could twist the sinews of thy heart?
And when thy heart began to beat.
What dread hand? & what dread feet?

What the hammer? what the chain,
In what furnace was thy brain?
What the anvil? what dread grasp.
Dare its deadly terrors clasp?

When the stars threw down their spears
And watered heaven with their tears:
Did he smile His work to see?
Did he who made the lamb make thee?

Tiger Tiger burning bright,
In the forests of the night:
What immortal hand or eye,
Dare frame thy fearful symmetry?
