Magnificent!!! This jumped into my mind the second I saw that beautiful RT:

The Tiger
William Blake
Tiger Tiger. burning bright,
In the forests of the night;
What immortal hand or eye.
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?

In what distant deeps or skies.
Burnt the fire of thine eyes?
On what wings dare he aspire?
What the hand, dare seize the fire?

And what shoulder, & what art,
Could twist the sinews of thy heart?
And when thy heart began to beat.
What dread hand? & what dread feet?

What the hammer? what the chain,
In what furnace was thy brain?
What the anvil? what dread grasp.
Dare its deadly terrors clasp?

When the stars threw down their spears
And watered heaven with their tears:
Did he smile His work to see?
Did he who made the lamb make thee?

Tiger Tiger burning bright,
In the forests of the night:
What immortal hand or eye,
Dare frame thy fearful symmetry?
Thank you Madame, I am very delighted!

Floraflanell, have you tried the scarf on a deep color, rich brown or green or even black? That may make it pop. It is a lovely color and design.
Pierina, thanks! Yes my avatar is Dougal, my Tibetan Terrier, and I have another, Harrison...great dogs!
I always enjoy seeing how you use your blues and greens and coordinate things so beautifully, have learned a lot from your posts.
Croisette, that TR just glows! Stunning.
Thank you so much, katekluet.

Welcome back, pierina! O, how u know to massage me! :shame: Are you sure you wont adopt me?

I usually pick one scarf every yr and seem to wear it to death. This yr, it seems to be this Tohu. I've already worn it 5 times more than I've had in all the yrs I've had it.
SETON!!!! That Tohu is breathtaking, and the sweater to match. WOW!

:flowers:
Thank you pierina!! :ty: I'll try to get some mod pics of the Legendes up soon!!

Why thank you, when it's convenient for you of course! :smile1:

Oh, I am a big believer in shopping the closet.

And speaking of which, how big is the home? Not sure if there will be room enough for me AND the blu collex. :graucho: Currently, it is housed in 3 diffferent apts.

Not to worry, there is plenty of room!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pierina, so glad you're back. Do you wear gloves when weeding? It is so tough on the hands and skin. Thank you for your kind words.

Thank you Maedi!!

Yes, yes, yes, I always always wear gloves. We have poison ivy and ticks, lots of brambles here and palm frond thorns in FL. A friend and I call anything without gloves "unauthorized weeding". :D

Dear all, sorry for being late to show you a model pic of my farandole scarf :( i needed my time to reach out for it.View attachment 2663317
like you suggested i tried it with a light blue shirt and showing a bit of the Green in the scarf - i like it :) but still think it's screaming pale and a bit of granny... Can't help, it's pretty, but.. Maybe it's only due to my poor knotting skills :)

Enjoy your Day!

No Grannys here, this looks delightful on you Flora! Delicate but interesting. :woohoo:

Pierina, thank you so much! So honored to hear this from such an ardent blue lover as yourself! Your collection of blues is something I can only dream about!
I, too, love my blues!!

You're very welcome indeed, thank you! :flowers:

Pierina2 thank you for your compliments, all your pictures are a wonderful inspiration for me!

You're very welcome. :smile1: Can you tell me a little about the breed, their personality and size, and are they typically that color? Dougal's very appealing!

Another vote of appreciation for your L'Instruction, especially in jacquard. It was well worth the search.

FloraFlanell, your scarf has such history and is so regal. I would hold it up against all kinds of colors in your closet until you find a combination that sings. Also, the trio scarf ring allows for interesting tying. This would be a beauty worn as a belt with jeans, too. I love that it's so dear to you and that you won't sell it. I have a lot of those, too.
