Pastels-- either love them or hate them. .

If dressing “age appropriate” is important to you, pastels can be a challenge. Head to Toe Pastel--probably now. But one piece of pastel with a neutral top or bottom? Rock Star. Eggshell Yellow and Camel? White and Peach? Grey and Pink? Glorious!!

Now, all you Pastel lovers, show us your Fabulosity as I sit this week out.

What? NO pastels O colorful one?? Well, Sparklelisab, thanks for another great intro to the week. Cute cute pretty pretty!! :p

The Oldest Scarf theme was very interesting.
I love looking at the older designs and I really enjoyed everyone's posts!
Thanks to all!

Here's my Pastel Week contribution. In my mind this is the ultimate pastel pink scarf:

And because pastel pink might be too bland or boring, or too sickly sweet for some, here's a bit of double scarf contrast:

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!!

Good Morning Silkies!! May I wish all Mothers a Happy Mothers Day. Whether we have given birth or not, adapted, fostered, or loved and taken care of another, in many ways, we all mother. To celebrate the true meaning of the word, I rely on mothers in nature: For Jahnna. For Ladybaga. And for all of us...

Sparklelisab, thank you for these photos! As a child we fostered baby possums and this picture brought back such nice memories! Happy Mother's Day to you and all the other scarfies!!

I'm really bad at drawing, even I don't recognize the knot :D(sorry, the light is bad)

Melora, this is great!

And wanting to share my Mothers Day silk, a great pastel for theme week, my second 140 DD, and Concours shawl! I think I am twin with BBC on this one.;)

Lanit, how I always love your pics! This DD is gorgeous on you! A wonderful Mother's Day silk!!

Oh my darling Pinky Sister, lover of Chartreuse and Muddy Colors---if you followed the new Scarf Mistress' oh-so-informative weekly debuts of the theme, you would know this.:hugs: Tis True tis True!!

O Great Pink One, greetings and salutations! I humbly acknowledge that I haven't been following the themes as I should. M'lady Scarf Mistress will you ever forgive me????

My first HS was Folklore in bright orange, orange-red and sage. From NM. Wore it to death then, alas, sold it. (had something to do with haircolor mysteriously going from light auburn to burgundy auburn). At some point I rebought it on ebay but never wore it. I think I would have to go back in time whole hog with the red hair color to make it work. And, so, I sadly move on. . .

markova, your Danse is beautiful and makes me want to wear my Fêtes vénitiennes, in a similar light pink.
And your duo of scarves is so obvious that I wonder why I didn’t try that…

Happy Mother's Day!!

Oh, do I have some fun catching up to do. About 80 pages worth! And with Pastel week coming up too, what a treat.

A late entry here for Oldest Scarf week, my very first H silk. From London in the late 1980's, Julia Abadie's "COACHING" in shades of soft blue, oyster and mushroom.

Happy Mothers Day to all the fabu mothers out there! :smile1:
Sorry I couldnt participate in OLd Scarf Wk. I forgot to pack my oldest scarf - Amor Par Tout (1948) on my latest trip like I intended to. Maybe next yr.
I hope to get home by the end of the wk so that I can model what is known among my frends as the Sweet Tart scarf. LOL.

ur Kimonos look is delicious!
I had the same pink Danse when I had 70 Danses like u at one time but I decided to downsize to like, oh, five or so so it had to go. IT's such a gorgeous warm pink.

Beautiful, lanit. You look better in it than that amazon in the booklet. :smile1:

I got lucky with the weather the other night, as DH and I went out to celebrate our anniv. I picked TF for the love birds :tender: Thought I share that selfie, too (pardon the lighting) This design also makes me think of Mother's Day. Have a wonderful Mother's Day weekend, everyone!

Lovely cw. You just glow in it!

Happy Mothers' Day!
Pastels---most of them do not flatter my complexion, so I have only a couple of pastel scarves. I would be hard pressed to think of a more feminine scarf than this one. It's pink, it's plisse, and the subject is perfume bottles.

Pierina, I love your Coaching and your outfits, what a great pairing with the stripped jacket!
