The Oldest Scarf theme was very interesting.
I love looking at the older designs and I really enjoyed everyone's posts!
Thanks to all!

Here's my Pastel Week contribution. In my mind this is the ultimate pastel pink scarf:

La Danse

And because pastel pink might be too bland or boring, or too sickly sweet for some, here's a bit of double scarf contrast:

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!!

XOX

Love these pics, markova! You are the best. :hugs:

Happy Mother's Day!!Oh, do I have some fun catching up to do. About 80 pages worth! And with Pastel week coming up too, what a treat.
A late entry here for Oldest Scarf week, my very first H silk. From London in the late 1980's, Julia Abadie's "COACHING" in shades of soft blue, oyster and mushroom

Pierina, I adore this 'Coaching' scarf (she looks brand new!!). You look beautiful in these colors:smile1: and I love the pairing with your jacket. I, too, love mixing my scarves with strips..such an interesting look. I have to add, as a blue lover myself, you have the most amazing pieces!

Happy Mothers' Day!Pastels---most of them do not flatter my complexion, so I have only a couple of pastel scarves. I would be hard pressed to think of a more feminine scarf than this one. It's pink, it's plisse, and the subject is perfume bottles.

Victoriab, I second the feminine essence of your plisse. The pink border is a fantastic shade of pink!

I'm afraid I won't be able to contribute very much this week as I've got very few pastel scarves.

Birkinmary, this is so pretty on you! I vote you need more pastels, as you wear this plisse so very well.

Markova, the La Danse is very beautiful (stole the colors for my archives).

birknmary, just when I think I won't be taunted by your stunning self you post more great looks! What is your fav perfume?

victoriab, the PERFECT pink in that scarf, thanks!

Well, so far I haven't found any pastels, but Sophie (she is such a ham) wants to show off her "Au Son du Tam Tam" again:

...and, I finally have a mod shot! The hunt for this CW of "Coupons Indiennes" was rewarded, (I wanted it just because MaiTai used it for this tie-didn't quite get the stripes in the right place-next time). (My first selfie too):

Jahna, so proud of being your twin with Coupons Indiennes in that cw, you look beautiful with it. My favorite scents are Virgin Island Water by Creed and Kelly Caleche by Hermes but sometimes I borrow Mandorlo di Sicilia (Acqua di Parma) from DH.

Jahna - so chic!

Three wonderful scarves birkinmary! I am starting to suspect you have the largest collection of all of us... Now I have to go look for Virgin Island Water. Love the cloche too.

My only pastel scarf and one of the oldest too , seldom worn but kept for sentimental reasons:
pink Promenade de Longchamps

Sorry to be such a sporadic poster, my skills with camera and Mac are pitiable .

Seeing all the older designs being modelled has been fascinating. They look as elegant and interesting as ever , which makes me think I should revisit some of mine.

Far from pastel , but after a few months when the weather was too sombre for these colours to work in Northern Europe, my Concours d'Etriers GM is finally being aired.

I can't get enough of it now , and am planning the pale grey t shirt/white jeans combo as soon as we get more sun .

froufrou - so great to see your posts - and the Concours - it is such a brilliant color for spring summer! Wonderful to be your twin!

Jahna - Giraffe/scarf love here - and your infamous locks with Coupons - you look fab.

Bkm - adore the cloche too, and the many many beautiful silks you have been posting. You are spoiling us with these precious beauties - they are most certainly getting their due and appreciation by the scarfies here.

Everyone is posting so fast--it's difficult to keep up with comments--and I only have a few minutes between my "chores". Thank you, everyone! Thank you for the compliments and thank you for the generous sharing of your silky beauties!

Here's another pink pastel:

And to offset the sweetness and delicacy of the above offering, here's the zest of a colorful favorite. Calling all twins, triplets (or are we now quadruplets and quintuplets?):

This is really pretty. You should wear it more!
