Not my sotd but on theme. Similar story as paddock. I had a feeling none of the new Tyger tyger 70 colorways would work on me, and was eventually proven correct in trying 3 cw’s. Very early in new season when we simply saw the colorways coming out I decided to get a CSGM with the beautiful sky instead. I needed to scratch that Tyger tyger itch that was coming from this season and didn’t want to get one just because it was new and a tyger, plus knowing it wouldn’t have been ideal colors on me.
I surprisingly (didn’t expect to find one so quick) found this one which I am so so happy to have in collection.

I am going to squeeze in two more Aline Honoré designs before our week ends and maybe a Shirley or two after tomorrow evening...DH and I are meeting friends for dinner and my SOTE is Sieste au Paradis 140 plume silk worn as a top. Inspired by @Redbirdhermes today and by @cascade2021, whose love of the format made me reach for mine...

And several scarfies have shown the beautiful Tulipomanie GT as well as the gorgeous 90 and they have inspired me to share a recent outfit with my bright blue Tulipomanie 90...
View attachment 6215294
The 140 as top is superb, classy, stylish, a bit of collarbone peeking out. And the blue Tulipomania is so summery. Bravo!

I am off theme. With the new season 140 paddock coming out and not needing another cashmere and thinking none of the colorways will work enough to purchase at retail anyway, I decided to hunt for my 90. With the $800 international purchase exemption going away on the 29th I decided to do one last international purchase for the foreseeable future. And chose this bright pink colorful Paddock to be my last one. It has a delicious gray hem that takes it over the top to 10/10 for me. Sotd

Good morning everyone and Happy Friday. I am a little disappointed that I have been so busy and unable to focus on these designers because, as for so many of us, they are quite high in my personal Pantheon of Silk Artists! Aline Honoré is by far the artist with the most multiples across a number of designs in my collection. In fact, I have three new cws of 90 Sieste, Fleurs d'Indiennes and Parures de Samouraïs that I plan to debut this fall!!!! But for today I am wearing one of my beloved Sieste 90s in summer brights. I am not usually quite this matchy-matchy but for today... :shrugs:
It started in a pretty cantilevered collar knot (basically @Cookiefiend's Impossible knot with more structured folds)

And after a doctor's appointment and a trip to the tailor, it has ended up like this...
View attachment 6215129
But it matters not at all because I love Sieste au Paradis in any format, size, knot or fold!!!!

I’m drooling here, looking at your Sieste, dear Lkbnola ❤️Ahhhh!! So pretty
I love this blue and yellow 😍😍😍
Well, no sooner had my week calmed down than chaos erupted again! Sometimes you are the hammer, sometimes you are the nail, as they say.

For the close of this week, we shall turn to the beauteous creations of Alice Shirley, if you all haven’t already. Alice is the most ‘recent’ of our three designers this week, and it seems to me that she began producing grail designs almost immediately.

Alice’s repertoire is nature nature nature almost exclusively, among with mythology. I believe I read that an overarching mission for her is to feature endangered animals to raise awareness. Much to admire!

Some of you amazing scarfies own every Alice design in at least one colorway! I cannot claim that - I think my count of Alice scarves is at 10 at this point, but some designs like Tyger Tyger and L’Esprit de la Forêt continue to elude me.

Into the Canadian Wild today:

Two scarf day, this evening Au Fil du Carré and earlier at my walk, Retour a la Nature helped against the sun and the wind.

I see I missed Aline and Alice week so here are few from the archives. I love how easy that is 🤔🤣
DuJA, Tyger Tyger, Into the Canadian Wild, Au Cœur de la Vie, Sieste au Paradis, Under the Waves.
Thanks Jereni, for hosting
Happy weekend, lovely Scarfies ❤️

Aha...

Oh my this is stunning on you! Yes it certainly has such detailing and shading and colors. I feel this is seen less and less as we go on in seasons which makes it a jewel nowadays for sure. It is my top jewel in my collection based on just that fact. Unlike you I have a tie to the Samourais in that my children are half Japanese and have their ancestral Samourais sword. So it was one I had to have in my collection if for that reason alone. I, like you, rarely wear mine. But for me it’s that I don’t want to stain it or ruin it in any way so they stay in a drawer most of the time. Similar to my marbles that way. So beautiful that I admire rather than wear all the time. I reach for so many other silks than those. I hope to acquire all the colorways some day haha. The colorway you and I share is my favorite in the 90’s :hbeat:
Here are mine…so far
:sneaky:

Oh me oh my thissssssss is the best!! Awesome matching! Which colorway is this? Do you have a flat pic?

Love this colorway! Stunning
Thank you, Nomad!

Your Sarasa looks so fresh and cool, Cookie!
What an amazing array of scarves you have @Croisette7! Two of these designs were formerly in my own collection, Le Promenade de Platon and L'Atlantide. The latter one looked better on a dear friend and so I gifted it to her. It's wonderful to revisit them ❤️
Thank you CoastalCouture!
Such festive colors befitting for this design.
Thank you, Maedi!
I am several days behind in this week's wonderful and colorful theme. Thank you @Jereni for reminding me that scarves I have in regular rotation are, in fact, grails for some people. I can finally contribute with two Aline Honore's from the archives.

Twins on the Samouraïs!

Your story is so interesting and I received my first Hermès scarf in 1991, too. Again, your color choice here and how it goes with your wardrobe is very inspiring. Did Lazy Leopardess by Arlene Ess, the Swiss artist speak to you?
Like @darkstar66 and @Maedi I began my scarf journey in 1991 with a black background Daimyo quickly followed by the white cw.
H scarves remain timeless.

Sharing my only giant triangles, what else but, Tulipomanie! This Aline Honore is the first design I have purchased in more than one color way. I was a little intimidated by the brilliant colors of the silk release a few years back; I loved them all but, thought they were too bright for me. Ha! Now I'm considering one of those super cute 45s. This is how it begins.

Truly beautiful!

:giggle: ‘This is how it begins’ :giggle:
I agree with you so much!

Gorgeous!

Thank you so much!

Each way you’ve tied it, is just gorgeous - I especially like the zebra skirt pairing!
Thank you again for showing us all these different ties!

Beautiful!

What glorious greeeens!

:girlsigh: wow… beautiful!
Thank you, Cookie!

Sisters with you @Jereni on both your scarves today and thank you for guiding us this week!
Nature theme + designs that tie so well make Alice the second (after Aline) most represented designer in my collection.

Very pretty with your ring and earrings, FA!
Wednesday & Thursday catch-up:

@FA73 stunning PdS! This is a design I am not lucky enough to own yet, but I think it would be this cw if I did. And omg your pattern matching with that Pytheas! Mic drop moment.

@Teaforparrots thank you for the link! I will keep an eye out. Beautiful AF example and lovely garden photos!

@Jacq1 thank you for the info on the Légendes scarf! Adding to my list. Thank you for sharing your beautiful pink ACdlV. I can relate on the border thing - I do love the cream background of my one Coeur, I do think it’s the perfect contrast with the center colors. But when tied it often ends up looking a bit jarring.

@Cookiefiend gorgeous Cheval Sirène! I always muse if I should have got this colorway. The deep blue and yellow is so good. And that cw of Bateaux might be my favorite yet. Furthermore, love those pops of pink/coral on Sarasa.

@HermesEchidna thank you for sharing all those Alines! PeC is a design I hope to add eventually, yours is such a soothing colorway. And the hem on that Bateaux is delightful!

@Katharina Luise you look so smashing with the scarf headband! Love it. And that GREEN Pelages??!!! I die.

@Croisette7 what an epic pink Pelages! Just utter bombshell. And huge sigh on your green DuJA.

@darkstar66 I’m sorry to hear that PdS doesn’t quite make your heart sing! It is beautiful on you regardless. And what a beautiful Pégases!

@Redbirdhermes that Appaloosa has such joyous colors! How wonderful it is that you have 5 of them! I’m stalking a gavroche rn but it’s just way overpriced.

@Nomad I did not realize your are the queen of PdS!!! What a stellar collection!

@CoastalCouture thank you for sharing this soft cw of PdS! It’s another one of the ones I like the best. And ugh that Tulipomanie continues to devastate me whenever anyone posts it.

@labelo yay for a sighting of the 70 Tyger Tyger! So cute on you.

@cascade2021 thank you for your Aline shares! A trio of lovelies.
Thank you, Jereni!
