Thank you so much, Awillow! So funny that you said this about kawa ora, little foxes. I thought the same thing.
This is gorgeous, jereni.
Anna, this is a design that I absolutely adore having grown up in New England. Such a pretty colorway with your gray sweater.
All beautiful, croisette (especially the maharani), but your pelages is spectacular!
Jacquard, the way you tied this brings out the absolute best in that 140. Drop dead amazing.
Thanks, FA!! ❤️
Thanks, Agrume. I love your butterfly with this beautiful DUJA. It looks like it has just perched there!
Estyboss, how awful! I hope your pup is well soon.
Thanks, maedi! I guess at least I know what I like!!
You're welcome, darkstar!I have thought about this design for quite some time and wondered especially how the leopard border would tie. Thank you so much for showing, @Croisette7
Many thanks, LKB!I too love this paired with camel @Jereni! Glad to see the earmuffsAnd thank you for the Bottes Story endorsement!
Nice combination of blues @Karenska-- and a lovely hem!
This is beautiful @darkstar66. I have this design in a monochrome blue and I love it.
Lovely twin! I like how you paired it with your ribbed cardi @AnnaE.
Wonderful all, @Croisette7-- I love your Selle d'Officiel -- not only a leopard border but a pink contrast hem for lagniappe!
Gorgeous, twin. I love the way you paired this with purple and of course, your stunning pearls @Redbirdhermes!
Yes!!! I was hoping you would post this @Jacq1. Mine is packed but I love the variegated border and the wonderful hem!
That's a depressing statistical fact uplifted by a gorgeous scarf and scarf ring @Agrume! It can only get better, right?
Oh, @EtsyBoss-- I am sorry for your worry and heartache. Sending hugs and wishes for a good resolution and a speedy one. Both pieces you show are beautiful. Love that Acte III and the border and colors of your lovely EA.
Thank you so much @Maedi-- it really does render the scarf flat in a pictorial way but I also like the unexpected brightness of the frame.
Fantastic @880 -- great pattern mixing. A Tohu Bohu CSGM is a grail for me...
Thank you @Awillow-- it will be nice to see you back! I too succumbed to multiples (many multiples) of Jaguar-- this cw looks beautiful on you! And I also was "scarfluenced" by @Nomad to add a Collection Imperiale CSGM-- planning to wear it later today! The FoSA was a surprise to me too but I am glad I felt adventurous!
Sending you support and good wishes, dear EtsyBoss, for Coco Bear’s full recovery. I am sorry you all are going through with this. Your offerings today are marvelous.Hello scarf friends, I haven't posted in months. The precious little newfy puppy we brought home in November turns out to have kidney disease and an antibiotic-resistent UTI and bladder infection likely worsened or made more likely by her kidney problems. Fortunately the kidney situation is mild and aside from making her prone to UTIs, it may not be that bad, we will see I suppose. We just need to get her UTI cured so it doesn't cause further damage. Because she's incontinent at times, we have not been able to get out much. Scarf and shawl wearing is on a bit of a hiatus. I've been following along here regularly and loving all of your beautiful treasures.
Sharing an archive shot of a beloved shawl which has a gogeous, strking border - Act III - and my Early America 90 which is a crossover from last week, featuring a rendition of hand cut papercraft in its border, and big fluffy dogs. We're so saddened and worried for our little Coco bear and hope she can make a full recovery and go on to live a relatively normal life.
Thank you all for making this place a beautiful one of support and respite. Sending much love

Poor puppy bear, I hope he is better soon with the UTIs and life can stabilise for all of you after that. Glad to see you here, even from time to time. They’re all fabulous! I’m so happy that you took a chance with that bright green. It’s so fun and great with your necklace.Good day, All, sending you good cheer as you show off your beautiful hems, fringes and borders. Thank you all for your participation and it is great to see @Thelittlefoxes and @EtsyBoss afain. This week has been challenging for a few reasons, including my own need to take care of a health issue, so I am just a part-time fearless leader.
How our H constructs its contrasting and printed hems is something of a mystery to me and I would love to hear your thoughts and knowledge about this process. Examining the fabric it seems that they print the hem color(s) along with the rest of the scarf then roll and stitch it. Curiosites has a bonus - gorgeous border and a delightful contrasting hem!

One of the most beautiful developments of H scarves is the printed contrasting hem. Dots, stripes, others? Please show us yours!
