You have some wonderful scarves!

I love this so much!

Oh it’s quite good! I see it online a fair bit.

Thank you for sharing this one. Now I am thinking I should have bought it…

Great scarves!

This is a lovely collection and gosh, I love all the earrings!

Oh that’s very cool, I would love to see this worn
Thanks so much, Anna!
I think it is cold everywhere @mktlim! Stay warm and toasty in your beautiful shawls!

So lovely to see you and your beautiful moussies @Awillow!

Excellent @JavaJo! I was going to show this also as I think the wider pleats do emphasize the geometric pattern of the hem.

More beautiful red hems @Karenska-- I remember the hunt for that Pytheas! :hugs:

So great to see you back in Scarflandia @Thelittlefoxes! I hope you have been well. It is nice to see your beautiful Maharanis and your lovely earrings!

Thank you @Maedi!

That is a beautiful contrast hem @darkstar66! Love seeing the details too...
Thank you, lkb. I hope to be here more !
Today is a little crazy for me so posting a couple of shots of a delightful border - Jungle Love 70. This is an example of a border within a border. AND a gorgeous contrasting hem in a fun green.

This is beautiful, k. This is a design that I like a lot - it always surprises me how much.
My SOTD is Poste et Cavalerie, men’s 80cm from autumn-winter 2024

Glorious color, Anna. Stunnong!
Non-local boutique visit today, that resulted in no purchases though I did get to see a few of the new season offerings. The colour families are really tight this year. The marine/purple one is right in my comfort zone, but there are a few designs in this colour family (tous en selle, as well as the carousel TR and bottes story) and they all feel very similar when viewed together. It’s actually really hard to narrow down a choice when they share so much commonality. I did get to see the exceptional robe legere from last year, which is very pretty indeed.

I thought SOTD would be off theme as it’s borderless, but it turns out that’s not quite true. It has an edge-to-edge design, with a complimentary border featuring a wave design inset a little way in from the hem. So it’s a sort of hidden border in the design. It serves well to frame the scarf, without being obvious. It’s hard to see in this CW as it’s camouflaged well!

De la mer au ciel today:

Lellabelle, this is a design I have long admired. I can never settle on a colorway I like best. This one is so striking!
A beautiful contrasting hem on Washington Carriage losange.

Gorgeous blues, karenska. I have one losange - nice for when you just want a bit of fabric.

Le Voyage de Pythéas has one of the most beautiful borders, I love the mosaic floor print! And the red contrast hem on your Kelly is incredibly chic, @Karenska!

Lovely, the fringe looks great with this format! Reminds me of 1920‘s flapper style, @880.

Tous les Bateaux du Monde is another example of a perfect border. The black and white against the red background makes it stand out beautifully, @HermesEchidna.

Fun, strong colours and it looks great with your striped shirt!

A beautiful, soft orange that looks lovely with the black accents of the print.

A beautiful design that reminds me a lot of Kawa Ora in this cw.
So funny that you said this about kawa ora, little foxes. I thought the same thing.
Like @GloWW0rM l went with Acté III today, bc brrr!!!

I am wearing my Jardins de Nouvelle Angleterre today. It has a mildly contrasting hem, but one can’t see it the way I am wearing it.

Jacquard, the way you tied this brings out the absolute best in that 140. Drop dead amazing.
Beautiful with that sweater, twin!
Thanks, FA!! ❤️
@Awillow and @Thelittlefoxes, so lovely to see you back here! Please keep posting! :hugs:

Third Monday of January = statistically the most depressing day of the year. Well, yesterday was certainly no exception to this rule. Today I needed some uplifting peaceful scarf, an off topic DUJA because… no border.

Thanks, Agrume. I love your butterfly with this beautiful DUJA. It looks like it has just perched there!
Hello scarf friends, I haven't posted in months. The precious little newfy puppy we brought home in November turns out to have kidney disease and an antibiotic-resistent UTI and bladder infection likely worsened or made more likely by her kidney problems. Fortunately the kidney situation is mild and aside from making her prone to UTIs, it may not be that bad, we will see I suppose. We just need to get her UTI cured so it doesn't cause further damage. Because she's incontinent at times, we have not been able to get out much. Scarf and shawl wearing is on a bit of a hiatus. I've been following along here regularly and loving all of your beautiful treasures.

Sharing an archive shot of a beloved shawl which has a gogeous, strking border - Act III - and my Early America 90 which is a crossover from last week, featuring a rendition of hand cut papercraft in its border, and big fluffy dogs. We're so saddened and worried for our little Coco bear and hope she can make a full recovery and go on to live a relatively normal life.

Thank you all for making this place a beautiful one of support and respite. Sending much love

Estyboss, how awful! I hope your pup is well soon.
Fabulous with your sweater and mirroring its graphic design. This was definitely multiple worthy.
Thanks, maedi! I guess at least I know what I like!!

Here are two 140 silks-- one with a border we all love: Flowers of South Africa, which like other Ardmore Artists designs features a beautiful detailed border:

And one where the border creates a gold "frame" around the design: Acinonyx Jubatus.

Lkb, these are both extraordinary. I never would have expected to like that fosa colorway so much. And the border on that acinonyx! I tend to stay away from animal prints, but I would make an exception for this and for @Croisette7 's pelages. Divine! :girlsigh:

I’m completely scarfed away by this stunning collection—good envy overload! :girlsigh:

I haven‘t posted for quite some time but I want to be more active again. After having admired everybody‘s posts since the beginning of the year, here are some of my favourite hems:

Most arresting design: Savana Dance

Good morning!
Normally I avoid white scarves, but this pattern, other colors and blue hem is so pretty I could not resist.

Wish you a Day sans frontiers!
I have the same reluctance towards white/cream based scarves, Echidna, but this design is really beautiful, a touch of retro, I think and it was the only one which tempted me regarding recent H collections. I bet it would also look super on a dark blue denim jacket.

@EtsyBoss my heart goes out to you and your precious Coco Bear! I hope all of this can be resolved and that much better times lie ahead. We had a paralyzed (from the age of 9 mos) English Springer Spaniel years ago, and while it was often difficult, she brought us an enormous amount of joy and lived to be 13.5 years old. So, as I said, my heart goes out to you! Also, I am twins with you on your ACT III CSGM. It’s one of my favorites!

Absolutely elegant and fetching. I don’t know what I think about this design flat but it sure is appealing when tied, esp in thus colorway.

Oh, @EtsyBoss-- I am sorry for your worry and heartache. Sending hugs and wishes for a good resolution and a speedy one. :hugs: Both pieces you show are beautiful. Love that Acte III and the border and colors of your lovely EA.
Oh, I love the golden frame. Such a cheerful touch to this gorgeous design.
Thank you so much @Maedi-- it really does render the scarf flat in a pictorial way but I also like the unexpected brightness of the frame.

Fantastic @880 -- great pattern mixing. A Tohu Bohu CSGM is a grail for me...
It is beyond cold here today. Jaguar et Colibri with its beautiful geometric border. Another design I could not resist and acquired multiples.

Out to dinner last night in my Collections Imperiales with its beautiful periwinkle border. Inspired by @nomad.

Thank you @Awillow-- it will be nice to see you back! I too succumbed to multiples (many multiples) of Jaguar-- this cw looks beautiful on you! And I also was "scarfluenced" by @Nomad to add a Collection Imperiale CSGM-- planning to wear it later today! The FoSA was a surprise to me too but I am glad I felt adventurous!
