For my last post of this special week, I’m thinking pink with the last beauty Diana and I twinned on. She liked pink too and I always enjoyed this departure for her in her collection. Of course, there are shots of blue!

Thank you @AnnaE for hosting this week and thank you all for making it so beautiful.

Aaah you look so good in this pink with your dark hair and perfect lippie!

Happy Saturday Scarflandia! Thank you all for sharing your blue beauties and for keeping Diana in your thoughts.
As Pirula stated - Diana did like other colors too - like pink!
We were twins with this Ex Libris Les Parisiennes (archive photo)

Dans les Bras de Selene arrived while we were in GA (why yes - H delivers here too Mr Cookie! :giggle:), and this was the last photo I sent to Diana. My silly delighted no make up face.

Have a joyful day!

A beautiful array of silken goodness! I esp like that Parisiennes on you with its bold helm and congrats on that Selene! I am literally sitting in the boutique waiting to try that on. It looks EXCELLENT in your signature knot.

As a final post this week, I wanted to share a cashmere shawl that Diana loved. I had always assumed I am allergic to cashmere after a particularly itchy encounter with an Acte III CSGM. Diana loved her cashmeres, although she didn’t have many occasions to wear them in California. I asked Joel to borrow one just to take a photo with this week, but it actually looks like I can wear them! I wore it to dinner yesterday (Spare a thought for my bank account…)

Thank you all for an opportunity to host this week. It is not a task one ever wants to have a reason to undertake, but for those of us who knew and loved Diana, it has been a poignant experience. Diana’s husband Joel has also been reading all the tributes. Thank you all for your beautiful posts.

You look beautiful with Diana’s shawl 😍

This must have been such a difficult week for you, and for Diana’s husband and friends. But the tribute this community paid her was very touching and beautiful. Take care!

Edit to add: when I bought my first shawl I thought I was allergic too. After a gentle hand wash, I never had any issue and since then I practically live in CSGM.

Such a lovely CSGM. You did such a fantastic job hosting this week and paying tribute to your dear friend Diana. You inspired so many others to share their beautiful memories of her. My condolences to you, her family, and all of her dear scarf friends.

All scarves and pictures are absolutely fetching and perfect and what dear sentiments. A beautiful tribute week although sad and reflective.

A beautiful picture with this shawl and setting. Waving to you and thanking you for leading this week and waving hello to Diana's husband.

I am not posting a blue one in honor of Diana, but one she had in her collection that absolutely inspired me to get myself. I have a screenshot of her wearing hers in my digital wishlist folder. It only took me 4-5 years haha. As others have said, she loved pink and other colors and formats too, as this green and pink Jardin de la maharani in her collection proves.
And I am convinced that this entire summer I will never have good lighting for modshots :-/.

Thank you so much, AnnaE, for your thoughtful hosting of this week. Not having known Diana, I was touched by all the tributes here.

I’m new too. I’ve been so moved by the stories and memories of Diana. You have a wonderful community of scarf fans.

This is my first summer in an apt with a terrace and I woke up one morning with the plan to wear scarf tops all season. Some wallet damage later, enjoying a quiet morning in Please Hold The Line.

Good morning Scarflandia!
Thank you all so much for your participation last week - I so appreciate it and it meant more than you know. :hugs:

This week we’ll delve deep into our psyches and talk about a deep subject….

SOTD - YOUR PREFERRED FORMAT AND WHY

Well now - that’s an interesting question…
And might require some introspection!

You would think that since I do keep a spreadsheet
<Coz - I like to be neat>
That I’d be certain of my silky favorite
<my heart is split>
But I can’t pick just one!
<Coz - that’s no fun!>

Anywho - your favorite format.
Uhhhhh…..

So… the 90’s, the 140’s?
IMG_9346.webp
IMG_9352.webp

(But which 140 - summer silk or cashmere+silk?)

The 100’s, the losange?
IMG_9353.webp
IMG_9354.webp

(But what about the stoles?)

The wee sweet gavs, the twilly?
IMG_9357.webp
IMG_9358.webp

(And what about the maxi twillys and the 70’s?)

Let’s knot forget the Moussies in all their formats! :dothewave:
IMG_9359.webp

(what about the plisse and the formats I’ve forgotten! :panic:)

So many decisions!
It’s gonna cause a collision!
My scarf drawers are gonna have a fit
If they find out another’s the shizz-nit!
So I’m keepin’ it on the down low
Gonna take it slow
Keep it quiet
Keep ‘em from fightin’
Shhhhhhhhhhh

What’s s your favorite format?
And why?

We are back to sunny weather and the temperature is a nice 72 degrees F. This morning the dogs and I walked in the town's community garden and enjoyed a new small apple grove and the butterfly way station, mostly the milkweed is full of fat bees drunk on pollen... SOTD was the lovely Ivresse au Vent worn, quite unwittingly but very serendipitously, with my butterfly ring... sisters with @CoastalCouture!

Always happy to be sister with you @LKBNOLA!

I have been away from TPF during my stay at our lakeside cottage. No fast internet yet, maybe in the future if we spend more time there. So here I am, catching up on three weeks worth of posts, so much beauty! So pretty! Lots of new scarves popping up all around.
