It so lovely to see you again @lanit ! Your pictures are always such an inspiration. Hoping all is well.Dear Anna and scarfies, I’m so sorry to read this news about Diana’s passing. I’ll reach out to you privately as well.
As OG scarfies, Diana shared her passion for blue, mousselines and silks for as long as I remember, dating back to my first days of collecting in 2007. She was already a scarf collector and a member here before my joining. We would run into each other at our boutique during our separate appointments with our SA’s when new season offerings were in the store. She was lovely in person, and treasured her scarves as well as very keen on what she liked.
We once had a very interesting discussion about blues. In the early days of my choosing scarves I somehow ended up choosing blue so frequently that we both would be interested in the same designs. She remarked that while both of our complexions were different, both of us were harmonious in complexion and spirit with blues. Though she never wavered from her passion for blue for herself, she complimented my choices for white background and colorful silks😉
On another visit, she asked how I could wear so many colors and I told her that
I felt I was missing out on the many beautiful color combinations so pushed myself to just enjoy the scarves for their artistry (sparking joy, lol) try wearing different colors, moving toward a more diverse palette of colors, by wearing basic white or black tops, and striped shirts to pull off other colors and patterns. I think she delighted in the thought of wearing stripes with patterned silks.
Here are a few that were favorites:
Parures des Samourais had us both trying to decide which blue version to purchase. Diana chose the blue and white, I chose the blue/violet and the blue/navy, PLUs the pink/turquoise and anise green. I know she loved her PdS shawl. And I so admired that she could decide on just one!

Spectacular blues!I don’t wear many scarves in the hot months, but giving an archive pic in honor of Diana. A blue Zouaves bandana, enabled by @LKBNOLA. It is my favorite blue in my 140’s.
@redheaddem I am also commenting here about your rose Coeur on the seasonal. I love it! And love it on you! I never thought I’d get a 140 bandana due to same cost for much less expense by H to produce, as well as not thinking I would have a use for it, kind of feeling it lacked enough interest for price tag with a one dimensional design thing to it. But boy was I wrong. When you find the perfect right base color in a bandana you will wear it all the time. To the grocery store in yoga clothes or sweats, to kids sports games, thrown on for the pub, wherever we live our lives with that casually thrown on under our face putting on a glow or brightening. And that’s whether a 55/70/80/90/140. They all do that same thing. An all rose base 140 is chefs kiss. And They may never do another rose cashmere base. So I’ll be getting one too. Hope it makes me glow like on you!
Andddd maybe I’m full of it and maybe this beautiful warm Rose will be like Rose bonbon where we will now see it allllllllll the time![]()

Marvelous!
Welcome! You can get a lot of inspiration from this thread. There are some YouTube tutorials and other resources you can find with some googling, but this thread will probably give you more ideas than you wantHello everyone,
I'm new to the world of Hermès carré/scarves and would love to wear them in unique ways.
Do you have any recommendations for examples pictures or tutorials on how to tie them?
Thanks a lot !
Thank you for your kind words and beautiful scarves. You twinned on many scarves with Diana (who did love her mousselines!).View attachment 6202719

Lastly, a tribute photo and couple of quotes for our lovely blue loving friend:

"The blue of the sky is one of the most special colors in the world, because the color is deep but see-through both at the same time." — Cynthia Kadohata

Thank you, dear LKBNOLA!Thank you @darkstar66, you are very kind! They are cuddly-- one drapes herself around my neck and the other keeps my feet warm...
Two beautiful blues and more to the point, they are beautiful on you @Lellabelle. You and that bleu foncé are always linked in my mind...Thank you for the good wishes-- we made it! I do find the vintage silks often need a steaming depending on the tie. I've heard some people add sizing to give more "body" but I like the soft hand of the vintage and don't mind steaming them so...
This made me smile @Redbirdhermes . We have a big cabinet full of board games and classic games and even my most device-devoted grandkids can be found on a rainy afternoon or a late summer day setting up to play. Bookmarking this post...
Wishing you safe and happy travels @EtsyBoss! Looking forward to scarves-on-site, scarf purchases and mod shots. It sounds like a wonderful time. I am your Lanternes twin and I can attest it is a great travel scarf.
Lovely to see you @violetkool!
Just have always loved this cw of this charming scarf @Agrume.
Congratulations @Cookiefiend! Your Erevan is just such a lovely color! (sisters on the moussie) and thank you-- they send smooches back to their much larger furry friend...
Gorgeous on you! Very happy to be twins on this and I hope the Sisterhood of the Rose Bandana continues to grow. Your assesment of bandanas is spot on @Nomad. I hesitated to add one in the large size as well but I am more than delighted to have them for all the reasons you cite.
oh Gosh - I love this! And this is my favorite cw of MM! Gorgeous!Scarf of the day as a newbie, masan masan wore as belt
So classy with your blazer.Diana lived near the ocean, she would loved Recontre Oceane,
my SOTD
