Beautiful scarf, soothing greenery and look at that reflection in the pond.A quick one, but on theme.
The Egyptians used their clever brains and hands to construct many beautiful objects, from jewellery and crafts, through useful objects and tools, inscriptions and writings, to intricate buildings, boats and cities. SOTD is Tutankhamun, which features the famous king’s golden death mask, along with other precious ceremonial objects.

As I was in the city today, I managed to carve out a few precious moments in an otherwise hectic day to visit the Japanese botanical garden and was reminded of the painstaking attention to detail, and careful hands, that create, nurture and maintain these gardens. Everything from the raking of the gravel paths, the tending of the moss, and the care of the plant forms. Bonus, if you look closely, in the centre of the pic with the open view of the lake is one of the gardeners. Pruning one of the evergreen firs with meticulous attention to detail (I watched him remove individual needle clusters). The light and the reflections today were remarkable. Sharing in the hope these bring a little peace and tranquility to any in Scarflandia who need it.

Thank you @Maedi 😃 - I remember hearing about it as a child and Then researched it as an adult. Also Thanks for you wishes about my travel - the train horses could have been more clever, but if I do not include an hour of delay on a cold station in Osnabruck and a quite late arrival last evening, all was Good. I took the decision some years ago to only travel by train if it was even Remotely possible for the destination. And I like it - I must go and see about some train related scarves to supplement my treasured Merveilles de la Vapeur 😊What an amazing post about der kluge Hans. I hadn’t heard of this before and love it, especially coupled with your scarf question. Thank you for the fun read. I hope the horses grew some wings and got you home faster. You look amazing in your scarf.
That's my dream cw, @FA73 perhaps I'll find it this year?In Papua New Guinea, making a traditional headdress involves clever hands collecting feathers, combining them with animal bones, shells, and plant fibers, and arranging them in intricate patterns.

Thanks for sweet comments to many of you, dear friends. It’s been a super stressful week and I’ll reply to all in a few days.
Stay strong and happy 💜
Thanks for the lovely inspiration on these pages. I ordered two more scarves online this week. 😳I’m out of control. But I got a good deal and couldn’t resist.
And I managed to get a scarf in H boutique few days ago for older price after all, because I ordered it to the store on time before the price hike. 🥰🙌Yaaay! It made me feel better.

Such a perfect colorway for you. I think I’ll bring out my similarly moody shawl version for today.Loving the clever hand that penned the poemand designed the scarf after it.
I felt moody today with All black. And this moody night sky cw fit the bill. Amazing how the back tail is the back side and still has lovely saturation. Love when that happens.
Totally enabled by our dear @Karenska with this cw. She has showcased it so well over time over the threads

All beautifully styled, as usual! I’ve let go of a number of scarves over the years as my style evolved and can’t say I miss many of them. Ors Bleu d'Afrique, however, is one I might need to keep an eye out for. I didn’t used to be as disciplined in picking colors that suit me and I never reached for mine because it was pretty but ultimately not flattering on me. Your pictures have reminded me of what a stunning design it is though.I am going for clever hands working on textiles this morning! Several from the archives:

And my SOTD is my recent Fleurs et Papillons de Tissus GT, which made its debut over the holidays! From the Scarf Story:
In 2013, Christine Henry drew on the unique heritage found in the collections of the Lyon Museum of Fabrics and Decorative Arts for the design of her giant triangle scarf. The inspirations are manifold: Coptic tapestries, Ottoman fabrics from the sixteenth century, Lyon silks, 18th-century Indian fabrics or Japanese kimonos brought together in a pattern that resembles a meadow of flowers.
