Love your scarf, and I adore bleeding hearts. I have tried to grow numerous times, but they haven't liked where I put them, I guess. Your new phone/camera takes great pictures. Looking forward to seeing more.
It's been a busy few days and there's no let up in sight till the weekend. My rules are pretty general.
- Don't buy anything I will not or cannot wear. Only choose colours which are flattering.
- It's ok to buy something to go with one only one outfit, especially if I spent 80-100 hours making it.
- I absolutely love contrast hems.
- I'm open to sizes; right now trying to build my CSGMs and GTs.
- If it's been a long time since wearing or I've fallen out of love, move it on. Except for Coeur de la Vie, keep this one forever because it goes with a Chanel style jacket made from fabric I bought in Paris.
- I generally stay away from wide borders, white borders and backgrounds.
- I stay away from icky subject matter but . . . .

Many thanks to @Agrume for her always wonderful hostessing and examples! I will say that over the years I have had what I consider to be more a set of organizing principles than rules, and even those have been honored more in the breach than in the application. 70 Aloha Dip Dye in a new-to-me cw and Ors Bleu d'Afrique, a second cw for me and a real "bargoon" from last winter. I took a chance on this one and I am very happy that I did. It was perfect for a live music event (and I did wear my cowgirl boots)!

And for a benefit dinner and concert, I wore my beautiful Acinonyx Jubatus, 140 washed silk.

SOTD, at least for the first half of the day, was 12 léopards, echoing Darkstar’s choice. Inspired by @LKBNOLA. The other side gives a more autumnal vibe.
I try not to buy similar scarves, but I have this Eleftheria in both yellow (what I am wearing) and orange…
I know you love it @darkstar66. I myself missed it in the season (punishment for dithering about the format) and then a dear friend adopted @Agrume's rule about 140 silks and I was the very very happy beneficiary of her rule enforcement! Speaking of that, I do keep my 140 silk and moussie collection quite small and carefully curated. It helps that not many are offered any more!Yay! I know it is a busy design-- I myself opted for the monochrome blue just for that reason, but I am increasingly drawn to the idea of taking the plunge with a bright because the elements are actually beautifully balanced. Happy you are reconsidering @FA73.

Beautiful @Agrume! Who could resist those silly cats anyway, especially when they are wearing reading glasses and cavorting in a bookcase? Super outfit! I don't have a lot of animal print myself, but hard to avoid if you are a Dallet fan!!!!

No real rules for me, preferably no modern weapons or hurting animals. Loving nature, horses, flowers, animals and anything tied to a memory or interest. It’s mostly an emotional affair.
