Indeed! I might have said the same thing if confronted with this one in person. It is a marvel of colors and geometry and such a happy design when tied.

Oh, I have the same rose coloured flower in my garden and I love it so much. It's one of the very few which have survived, I'm mostly unsuccessful when it comes to gardening, no green but apparently a black thumb. Tea, don't you want to spend a coaching weekend here with us?

Amazing eyes @Karenska - both finding that Kluska with his human and your embroidered eye brooch. Your Animapolis looks fantastic on you with your jacket and is that a new hair cut? You look beautiful! It's nice of you to pop in to share this. Your embroidered eye reminds me of my favorite psychology professor I had decades ago. He wore shirts with embroidered eyes on them very much like that one. He was such a character and the eyes only added to the intrigue.

I was surprised that there were so many. Yes, my hair is shorter and I now have a bang which I like very much, and lighter but only because it’s gray that is now getting dyed over. I am not longer a dark brunette but I just can’t go gray yet . My embroidered eye brooch is a gift from my dear friend, Susan. We are twins with the brooches. I think I pinned it upside down . Your professor sounds eccentric — and fun!

And I experienced a variation of that this morning when I tried to select which Green to post today. So I am making my Green life easier by opting for a this or that and y'all can decide!
Precious Paradise was on deck for the week-- first up is the "white cw" but gosh, there's a whole lot of Green going on! Plus,
our fearless scarf mistress posted her preferred (but not yet obtained) PP cw-- the "khaki" so I thought of that...BUT, there is also Le Livre d'Esope, which I am smitten by and has swoony greens patches too...

But I was having some FOMO over missing all of @Lellabelle's power week so I finally decided on the vert anthracite of Complication Equestre, shown in two ties on a knit jacket/sweater with buttons and yes, shoulder "pads"...can't decide but I think the longer tie is more "power" than the collar one?

A beautiful parade of silks, dear Lkb. As for the PE tie, I love both but I think the shorter one looks quite sophisticated (not that the longer one doesn’t) and I rather love it. And I am in love with your knitted jacket! Beautiful soft sage and forest greens.

Puppers came by to see what I was doing and held still long enough for a photo, such a good girl. Health-wise she is hanging in there and doing well. Our focus can thankfully now be more on continuing good canine behavior and house, yard, and walk rules. There's so much for her to learn as we make up for lost time.

* Light and color are fascinating. No editing to make my sweater look two different colors. Left is natural light coming in through a window, right is indoor lighting.

What a special cw of this beauty, EB, and your girl is so beautiful and soulful it made me tear up. What a baby 💕💕. I’m so glad to hear that she is doing better.

I wonder what factors influence our ties? Our stature? Our figure? (I cannot do a waist tie as I have ... errr ... a lack of svelte ) The weather? Our garments? Are longer ties more impressive than shorter? Yes, I'm thinking about themes for 2026!

Food for thought, for sure, @xincinsin. Lots of factors go into how one wears a particular scarf. Formal/informal, etc. a terrific theme topic for 2026! Thank you for hosting rainbow week. 🌈🦄

Picked up scarf mail yesterday. Not a design I was looking for, nor one fitting many of my rules, but the colors were yummy (honestly: purple and orange!) , the price right, I do not have something similar and not least: I imagined it would look good when tied. I admire the collection rules of all of you (I cannot resist an expedition scarf either @FA73 and the clear sense of your styles and colors, which so many of you demonstrate !

I do not have that and I shop more randomly even though I try to be strict. But once in a while something unexpected and hitherto unnoticed pops up like this. Often I end up wearing such pieces more, as I am not as careful about them as some of the meticulously curated scarves. This one could end up being a regular workhorse.

Hello, dear Scarfies! I am flying back to Cape Cod today and look forward to catching up on all the thoughtful posts about everyone's rules and "dos and don'ts" as I travel. Many thanks to @Agrume for her always wonderful hostessing and examples! I will say that over the years I have had what I consider to be more a set of organizing principles than rules, and even those have been honored more in the breach than in the application. I seem to always break out of Ban Island, too. Buy what you love is the best rule!

70 Aloha Dip Dye in a new-to-me cw and Ors Bleu d'Afrique, a second cw for me and a real "bargoon" from last winter. I took a chance on this one and I am very happy that I did. It was perfect for a live music event (and I did wear my cowgirl boots)!

Yellow is a tricky colour for me. Being of Chinese descent, my skin has a yellow undertone, so yellow, bronze, gold etc have a good chance of making me look sallow. I favour a banana yellow.

Yellow is a color I love. I like strong yellows but light ones can be a bit complicated for me, I think.

This Brazil Detail is a bit of a rule breaker, as it has very prominent borders. But I love the borders (even tho I am hiding them here).
