Progressing through the ROYGBIV alphabet of colors, I'm on Indigo today but not wanting to wear dark blue for the very warm day today, I opted for something with some blue + some Orange as I think most people playing along are on ORANGE today. My Pique Fleuri de Provence doesn't get a lot of neck time because it is hugely sentimental to me, being my very first H scarf and a gift out of the blue from my DH who didn't realize at the time what sort of obsession he had started! Now he's my biggest enabler outside of you all. He and I had a wonderful walk around our neighborhood and enjoyed a long afternoon patio lunch.
As a bonus, I got to finally wear my bright orange ball cap that was handmade and hand embroidered in Madagascar, a place with a tradition of embroidery that is really outstanding and largely unknown. The main part of the embroidery on the hat is a type of lemur called an Indri. I think they might be the largest of the lemurs, though not the largest lemur that has ever lived.

Such an array of soothing greens!! That green PP is so fetching. I still think about it. And do you ever make a case for that Equestres!

I am heading down to New Orleans this week to host a few dear friends for Jazz Fest this year. The weather will be in the high 80s and my activities range from hot and dusty Fair Ground music venues to chilly restaurants, a benefit, a board meeting and more! So I have packed an array of things. Back in the day before Kindles and EBooks, I used to travel with a big bag of books (wanted options, wanted to always have something to read). Now I travel with a tiny Kindle reader and a bag full of scarves (want the options, always want something to wear)
But I wanted to complete my ROYBGIV before the theme week ends so here are my remaining colors from archive or recent shots:

I suspect orange is tricky for most of us on here. It’s a color with some very unflattering shades in its repertoire. But this is such a lovely, graceful, and happy one!!!

I hear you about both yellow and orange @xincinsin. My current orange crush is "cuit" -- just love the soft, slightly terracotta shading of it. Your SE H en Bias reminds me of how fun The Central Park Gates exhibit was to live with! Just a few weeks but so special. There was an entrance not far from our apartment we passed through every day. I learned to call it "saffron"

It’s already Friday of Color Week already and I’m just catching up! Perhaps I’ll have some archived photos to post as I am away from most of my scarves.
I spent this morning with my tablet catching up on last week’s delightful posts while watching the sunrise from my perch in the San Juan Islands. Many thanks to @Lellabelle for hosting what was a very interesting and enjoyable dive into Power Scarves! I had more to contribute, but other parts of life took over…I really loved the sub-themes and everyone’s mod shots and conversation.
I also wanted to mention, @Lellabelle, I too had a hot pink double-breasted blazer that I loved. I usually wore it with a black pencil skirt and ankle boots.
@Redbirdhermes, how funny, your story, of landing your small plane at Perdue with your daughter as your passenger, and the folks on the ground waiting expectantly for the pilot to emerge! My DW and I have had that experience on our boat many times over the years!

This is one of the best pattern mixing I have seen.
Exquisite and styled to perfection, LKB. It breathes an Art déco vibe which I adore. Thalassa was not on my wish list but I will have to reconsider, this colour combination is just incredibly elegant and sophisticated.
