Beautiful, dear twin! Love all three stylings @darkstar66!Hello,
I had the same idea as Jereni, to wear Au Coeur de la Vie during Critter Week. This design was and is not easy for me. First, the contrast between the rioty ball of "vie" and a rather large blank border but also the somewhat strange "coeur", then the fact that no cw seemed to be right for me. In the end I chose a very light cw, not white and not cream but rather like chalk. The "vie" is very subtle with only hints of colour. I still have some problems, it is not as easy to wear as my bright scarves and is always a challenge. Despite all this, I find the design inspiring and unique and would never part with it. Tried to find some furry animals and found some. In the first photo, a calm combination with light grey, in the second with orange to bring out the orange spots and in the third my "adult look" 🤣 with an anthracite cool wool, no-nonsense jacket.View attachment 6154954View attachment 6154955View attachment 6154956
Oh, just lovely @Croisette7! What a pretty Tropiques. I love the hummingbirds (of course) but also the little zebras...
Adorable gavroche of an already darling design @redheaddem-- what a pretty cw!Those squirrels are adorable @HermesEchidna. Such beautiful designs too. Your trip sounds wonderful, I hope you do spot some moose!
And I did recognise one little critter in your guessing game 😀
I suspect it is a mouse (biology is definitely not my area of expertise 🫣) but I am pretty sure the design is Precious Paradise by Katie Scott. I have this in the gavroche format.

Happy start of the week everyone!
Because.... squirrels!!! Another great post and marvelous examples @HermesEchidna! Good luck with your moose sightings. We saw one in Northern Maine and just wow!Good morning!!
On our way to Norway we desperate were looking for moose along the road, without luck, but we did find tracks from one while out on a walk. We also spotted cranes, hares, deer and millions of sea gulls. And unfortunately also both foxes and badges - as roadkill.
Yesterday at the harbour and in parks we mainly looked for birds - saw eider ducks, song thrush, wrens and shags etc, but also mammals were spotted - three rats (appropriately named Rattus norvegicus) but also a very busy squirrel! Perfect sedgeway:
For How can I resist a scarf with a squirrel on it? Well I cant. I Think I have at least 4 designs just due to squirrels.
Here are a few squirrels from au cæur du bois and casse noisette and Quatre saisons.

Today it is cutie day. Dedicated to adorable small, often furry animals. The chipmonks, the Rabbits, the hedgehogs, the mice. And as in Nature, they are everywhere. Let us see them!
I have made a little guessing game - how many cute critters can you recognize the design from?

Bonus identification: the bottom left critter is an Small Indian civet (Viverricula indica).
Last: thank you for all your sweet comments and for sharing scarves of critter abundance. I apologize for not answering every posts the coming days where I am out and about, and will also be on a boat without wifi for a day - but I am loving it all!!

Wish you a kawaii day!!!!
You look so pretty in this combo @Jereni! And the animal faces always crack me up-- the scarf is so beautiful you do not expect such expressive little critters to be hiding among the foliage...at least I don't!Au Coeur de la VIe has a wonderful medley of critters in it!

Simply gorgeous. I hope to be your twin on this beauty @FA73! There are some similar colors in my "placeholder" 90 but this is just a TDF Dallet... and beautifully tied as always.Thank you @Cookiefiend for a wonderful colorful week! Answering our hostess @HermesEchidna call for the Big Three with my only Dallet, a GS, following the example of @Redbirdhermes (who, after UtW, might provoke an avalanche of Equateur!). Tied to show three critters of various sizes.

Brilliant colors and sweet hummingbirds!
Thank you sweetie!
I love the birds in this too - the Toucan especially! I sold mine, but the sloth always featured prominently when I wore it!
I’m not crying, you’re crying!
What a lovely post - thank you for sharing this with us. ❤️
I am always so amused by the hummingbirds - they’re so bossy. There can be 6 feeding stations, yet one hummingbird will try to chase others away - they’re not always successful- but they sure try!
Well - I gotta admit - it is hard to resist!
Winning with this darling cotton scarf and pin!
❤️❤️❤️
Love this - and it’s on my wish list!
Hope you had a great time at the tastings!
Thank you sweetheart!![]()
Twin @darkstar66! Inspired by your styling, love it against the orange. This design was not easy for me either, exactly for the reasons you gave, the border, the core, the cws. I acquired this one as a placeholder for the white/red/beige one but when I finally found the latter, I ended up keeping both!Hello,

What a delightful introduction to Small Animals Week, @HermesEchidna. Dallet, Oliver, and Shirley are among my most collected designers. I also love a great detective search.
I'm crossing over weeks with my very first Hermes scarf.

Running around with a day of medical appointments and wearing everyone's favorite goofy critter scarf: Carnaval des Animaux. I added this to my collection (after trying a few cws) especially in honor of my young niece who plays French Horn in her University Orchestra and loves the Saint Saëns musical suite on which this is based...

I feel the same way about cæur de la vie! I adore the design but struggle with the borders. Yours is a wonderful cw - and thank you for highlighting the catta lemur 🤩Hello,

Thank you - no luck yet, but we did find moose droppings. A bit less wow 😂Because.... squirrels!!! Another great post and marvelous examples @HermesEchidna! Good luck with your moose sightings. We saw one in Northern Maine and just wow!
Thank you, FA73. In the end, this cw is more versatile than I thought this morning. In fact, it goes very well with vanilla and of course also with navy, the tree trunks are navy... I just don't wear this often enough!🫣Twin @darkstar66! Inspired by your styling, love it against the orange.
