How beautiful, dear sister! I don’t think I have seen this cw before but it gives of very warm - almost fall like vibes. As always you style it perfectly.Running around with a day of medical appointments and wearing everyone's favorite goofy critter scarf: Carnaval des Animaux. I added this to my collection (after trying a few cws) especially in honor of my young niece who plays French Horn in her University Orchestra and loves the Saint Saëns musical suite on which this is based...

I love this cw as well! I struggle with mine as well, maybe we should switch themHello,
I had the same idea as Jereni, to wear Au Coeur de la Vie during Critter Week. This design was and is not easy for me. First, the contrast between the rioty ball of "vie" and a rather large blank border but also the somewhat strange "coeur", then the fact that no cw seemed to be right for me. In the end I chose a very light cw, not white and not cream but rather like chalk. The "vie" is very subtle with only hints of colour. I still have some problems, it is not as easy to wear as my bright scarves and is always a challenge. Despite all this, I find the design inspiring and unique and would never part with it. Tried to find some furry animals and found some. In the first photo, a calm combination with light grey, in the second with orange to bring out the orange spots and in the third my "adult look" 🤣 with an anthracite cool wool, no-nonsense jacket.View attachment 6154954View attachment 6154955View attachment 6154956
The blue cw is amazing! To add to the pile of CdV, my two contributions from the archive. I love the ring-tailed lemurs (left scarf, left side) and the sifakas (right scarf, right side), both endemic to Madagascar and are only found there. Lemurs have my heart and so does this "Heart" of Life design.

The fossa-like creature in CdV is also neat. From wiki:
The fossa is a slender, long-tailed, cat-like mammal that is endemic to Madagascar. It is a member of the carnivoran family Eupleridae. The fossa is the largest mammalian carnivore on Madagascar and has been compared to a small cougar, as it has convergently evolved many cat-like features.
I don't think fossa's have prehensile tails so I'm not sure exactly what this animal is. Perhaps it is just made up and fanciful like so many of the most captivating designs are!
The luna moth is cut off at the top but also one of my favorites from the insect world. I saw one in Madagascar that was enormous! Like the size of a man's hand! It was amazing.

Here is mine - very different - for comparison

It sounds as if you’re having a great time!Good morning!!
On our way to Norway we desperate were looking for moose along the road, without luck, but we did find tracks from one while out on a walk. We also spotted cranes, hares, deer and millions of sea gulls. And unfortunately also both foxes and badges - as roadkill.
Yesterday at the harbour and in parks we mainly looked for birds - saw eider ducks, song thrush, wrens and shags etc, but also mammals were spotted - three rats (appropriately named Rattus norvegicus) but also a very busy squirrel! Perfect sedgeway:
For How can I resist a scarf with a squirrel on it? Well I cant. I Think I have at least 4 designs just due to squirrels.
Here are a few squirrels from au cæur du bois and casse noisette and Quatre saisons.

Today it is cutie day. Dedicated to adorable small, often furry animals. The chipmonks, the Rabbits, the hedgehogs, the mice. And as in Nature, they are everywhere. Let us see them!
I have made a little guessing game - how many cute critters can you recognize the design from?

Bonus identification: the bottom left critter is an Small Indian civet (Viverricula indica).
Last: thank you for all your sweet comments and for sharing scarves of critter abundance. I apologize for not answering every posts the coming days where I am out and about, and will also be on a boat without wifi for a day - but I am loving it all!!
🐇🦫🐿️🐁🦔
Wish you a kawaii day!!!!
Love this warm color! Those squirrels are adorable @HermesEchidna. Such beautiful designs too. Your trip sounds wonderful, I hope you do spot some moose!
And I did recognise one little critter in your guessing game 😀
I suspect it is a mouse (biology is definitely not my area of expertise 🫣) but I am pretty sure the design is Precious Paradise by Katie Scott. I have this in the gavroche format.

Grrrl -‘there is ALWAYS moar room for AudlVie!! It is an extraordinary scarf! Is there room today for one more Au Coeur de la Vie? My favorite furry creatures here are the little groups of heart faced gibbons. This colourway goes with so much in my spring and summer wardrobe. Here I am trying out the look with a new Eileen Fisher linen and cotton sweater.
