I am not on theme at all but I could not resist sharing one of the best perks of Mother's Day-- grandchildren! Here is my littlest partner in crime today and peeking out behind her is my (unexpected) gift of the day-- Precious Paradise. Happy to be twins with many of you, including @Maedi and @scarf1. I am a day late for my France theme scarf with Fleurs de Giverny.
I have thought at times I could add this to my rehome pile due to not loving white based scarves, but nope. Loved it today.

In my flurry of purchases back in February/March to celebrate my 50th birthday, I picked up some Grails - the Space Shopping I showed earlier and this gorgeous Special Edition Le Voyage de Pythéas by Aline Honore which came with its own booklet. It is one of the purchases that landed me a painful little stay on Ban Island. Worth it!!

I love the mosaic border and thankful for all of you who are twins and sisters on this one who have shared photos over the years of this beauty. Your enabled me! It was always that border that drew me in and then I fell in love with the variety of animals depicted and the story of the voyage of exploration and scientific discovery. And then lo and behold! I discovered one at a very fair price and pounced!

Bonus picture of my newfie puppers when she was just a tiny babe. Somehow her little face was in the same photo download batch. She's on theme to match the Petit Ours Brun on the scarf - newfies are such snuggly fluffy teddy bears -- aaaaaaand her kind is bred to perform water rescues for seafarers who fall overboard. Hopefully Pytheas and his crew never needed one.

Thank you! I always lean to pinks, too and tried your Mystère in the boutique but then chose another one. Rethinking my decision but the return window has passed.

I’m sure your cw is beautiful, too. I’m learning here to pair scarves w colors of tops to even out what doesn’t work for my complexion. LKBNOLA wore a scarf with a lovely bright top ( I love her knots ) and I sold mine because it was too pale on me. Now, I’m learning.

Where is my beautiful May weather? Way too chilly and cloudy for my taste. Brazil dip dye today.

Here's a pic off the internet of La France Hippique as I do not have it with me.
There is an outline map of France beneath the flowers, and tiny horses representing the different breeds.
The designer is Lenke Szechwnzyl, who did two other H designs, including the very pretty Ramage.
