Love the current iteration of JL. And while JL has been a favorite design of mine for a long while now, it's always been a little hard to wear (or downright frustrating) mainly because of the big blank border, the difficulty of featuring the "main feature" (for me) of the cats, and the problem that most of the other interest was fairly well hidden by folds leaving you with mainly blank areas or just foliage featured.

I originally solved that by getting the big CSGM so I could feature the cats and other creatures more more easily. And also the DD since I at least LIKED the border color, so didn't feel like it was as much of an albatross as it was for me on other releases.

But Pagni's reinterpretation this season neatly solves all the problems in one go with the addition of the stamped foliage. Border interest? Check! I can see the cats? Check! Updates design with the tattoo printing? Check! Pickles added for extra interest. It was Kiss Your Ginger day last week, and I am behind on kisses! He really wanted to just go play with his favorite toy....

The CSGM is magnificent and bold. :faint: Just gorgeous. Both colors. The little 70 shows up now and again-- I like the pink one too but I would love to see your new Les Pivoines with the basket! I am trying to find one-- it would be so pretty for spring! Your Omnibus gav is delightful @Croisette7!
Thank you so much, LKB!

Following up on @LKBNOLA’s post about JdO : posting my very early 70 which was one of my first five scarf purchases; the carriage design is so emblematic in H’s designs.

Petit Duc and Jeu Des Omnibus Et Dames Blanches. “Petit-Duc was a famous carriage designed by Alfred de Dreux that Hermès made its emblem. Christian Renonciat thought it would be a fun challenge to track down the original technical drawings from the period, analyze the mysteries of the structure point by point, and recompose the design in the manner of an engineer, complete with diagrams and front, side, bottom and detail views”. This graphic interpretation is one of my favorite H purchases this season. Omnibus is one of the first scarf designs printed by Hermes in 1937, designed by Hugo Grykar.

The dip dye is so beautiful, Bunnycat, and I love your cw of the new tattoo. It’s my preference. It complements Pickles perfectly . Hope he doesn’t steal it from you because it’s kind of perfect for him :giggle:. My, my, he’s a handsome boy. A face like an angel.
