In the befinning of the week I analyzed my red/blue scarves and what stayed and went. I decided to take another analyze into some other scarves that left my collection in 2022 plus one in rehome pile. Here is a collage.
Anyone seeing a pattern…anyone…Bueller…Bueller ( for any 80’s kids)
I have some other samourais so that one was fairly painless. I wore it once. I have other Bibliotheque gavs so again painless. I have other promenades de paris. I ccp’d metamorphose, Les triples, and La France. Here..
Much happier with these ccp colors. And I plan to ccp la femme with another color someday if I get so lucky.
Now I still have an orange and pink pytheas, and an orange bordered kachinas, so I didn’t rehome ALL scarves with too much yellow or orange. Just most. It doesn’t work on me for the most part. But I can absolutely do a mustard yellow in accent colors, or rust autumn orange, and others.
Today I wore one I fell in love with hard when it came out. However, this was early on in my collecting, and in the beginning I really really liked big drama and high contrast. I didn’t realize then that it doesn’t always love me back. So I realized today that this one MiGhT have to go too
. It started as a day to follow my resolution and wear more of the scarves I love..but turned awry and got dark fast 
. I’ll try with more colored clothes before making the final decision.

Nice updates, and lovely designs in your scarf collection, Nomad. I think your last Promenades should stay, however. To my mind, the point of the scarf is to add a bit of flair, a spot of color, to your outfit. The Promenades does exactly that to your black sweats. I don't think they are very old, but they represent the work of a very famous earthenware factory, their cat in particular. You can find some lovely fava beans at flea markets as there are often collectors, "favophiles". I don't think there is an H scarf on this theme but it makes me think about "Cave felem", a real grail to me!

Pique Fleuri and Sichuan both haven’t been worn in a while. When I first saw PF, i totally loved the colors and Sichuan is preloved from about 8

@Nomad, your pile is very tempting... I admire your ability to have that sharp eye for the colours that suit you best. The ccp concept is very interesting. Thanks for sharing it @LKBNOLA! The good thing about rehousing is that it explains why sometimes a little gem ends up on the second hand market... So many reasons to hope and believe in miracles. And Friday I wore my ntm grail for which I was looking the whole last year! Zebra Pegasus CSGM in the exact colors I wanted! It arrived last week, so perfect start of my scarf-year
