oh, the cashmere is THE best. You will remember me saying this but the quality of those are bullet proof. They have zero piling, the weaving is super stong so it won't snag with your nails for sure, and you won't see the fuzz on the hand rolled edge that you see on the modern edition shawls
Just don't wash it and as colors could bleed and the water might create fuzziness where the colors meet (I have seen enough of washed cashmeres through my collecting endevours If you get it dry cleaned properly, it will last forever and will look young and fresh for years to come. Fantastic find.I have Ashanti shawl from the same year of issue - it went through a lot but the fabric looks better than the shawls of 2023 edition
