I started with two of my oldest CSGM so today I'm sharing my two newbies! Jaguar Colbri in the beige orange multicolore and the Jaguar Colbri in the navy rouge which just arrived yesterday. They both have the same hot pink trim. I'll share more mod shots of my new navy one in the '23 season thread. I absolutely love this design. The only other of this format (I think) that I doubled up on is the Tyger Tyger which I have in both burgundy and navy/teal. I adore this design!

How fabulous and cozy !
Good luck with the follow ups, definitely never any fun. :sad:Glad you've got Awooooo for company, you both look comfy and warm.
I love this design and cw! It’s so very pretty both tied and flat. Good luck with your medical appointments.
You look lovely for your follow up appointments ☺️!!!
Good luck on your follow ups! Awooooo is the perfect choice. :hugs:
Just popping in to say good luck for today, dear @LKBNOLA. Hope all goes well. Your wolf daemon familiar is a stunner - may he/she give you any strength and protection needed today :hugs:
Gorgeous - truly.
This lovely, and snuggly, wolfie daemon is much easier to wear around your neck than my lovely, snuggly wolfie - who is currently muddy and damp…
Your Awoo is lovely @LKBNOLA ! I hope it offers all the comfort possible for your follow up! Lots of hugs :hugs:
This is probably the most beautiful Awooooo coloration! You look splended!
And best of luck for your medical appoitments - I hope everything goes well.
Thank you to everyone for all the good wishes -- I will be well soon enough and I appreciate the lovely community here and the distraction that scarves, mod shots and fun conversation provide while I am recuperating. And thank you so much for giving my wolf so much love-- he thrives on y'all's approval-- in fact he never met a scarfie he did not want to follow home...
I have four cashmere/silk giant triangles in my collection.

I have been taking advantage of our mild fall and winter weather to wear these scarves during my daily walks. Brides et Destin went with me on a recent walk, but I have yet to introduce it as my scarf of the day. Time to fix that.

My scarf of the day is Brides et Destin CSGT by Daiske Nomura.

You have a beautiful collection of GTs @Redbirdhermes-- sisters on two and twins on Folklore!
Today, I'm thrilled to share my Retour a la Nature CSGM with everyone. I'm currently visiting a town where the weather is just perfect for wearing my CSGMs daily. I've paired it with a Double D scarf ring in Permabrass, which I've found to be the ideal size for shawls.

So pretty on you @SilkCouture and such a nice use of the ring! I hope you are having fun on your travels.
Morning Scarflandia,

I haven’t been sharing much this week as I haven’t taken many scarfselfies and then it was raining and yucky for two days. Today I am going to be back at it with a multi-scarf day if I can manage it. This morning’s choice is Douze Leopards, which is a treasure, but then I feel that way about all 4 of my CSGMs lol. Hoping for more sunny skies later today, as I’m going to metro into the city and pick up a new watch!!! Very exciting. And have some scarfmail to share later.

View attachment 5918995
Time to show off scarfmail!!! This one is all @SilkCouture ’s fault - I ran across this Voyages en Etoiffe on TRR and was hypnotized by the colors. And then I remembered that SC had shared this during weather/storm theme week by likening it to an erupting volcano - genius!

It was not under the tree, but is more or less a Christmas gift to myself. Arrived last night and I LOVE IT. Thanks for letting me share!

Two lovely looks @Jereni and congratulations on your new scarfmail-- that periwinkle blue is lovely and the center of this design is fabulous.

I love this on the pink sweater @scarf1! And I am delighted to be your twin on this wonderful CSGM!
One more day at work, and then a week off. SOTD was the smallest format I am aware of in cashmere (comes in handy for wearing under a white coat, which is impossible for the CSGMs). Astres et soleils, a lucky find (and the clochette scarf ring feels just right for this time of the year). 🔔

View attachment 5919149
That is a fabulous little find @Agrume-- and it looks just darling with your clochette ring. I never knew they made CS in gav size! (and thank you for your comments and good wishes, too!)
Apart from their beauty the shawls provide a welcome protection from the elements.

Hello Scarflandia
I got ill and I am currently dressed in woolen pyjamas and mittens, under two sets of quilts, trying to get warm 🤒. I'm still behind, as I discipline myself not to use my phone too much, but it's so nice to be able to chear meself up by accompanying you from afar, looking at your lovely mod shots in your amazing cashmere eye-candies and reading about your activities in holiday season.
As you imagine, I'm in no mod shots condition, but here's my little contribution for this week with archive shots:

So elegant as always. Sending you hugs , hoping everything went well for your medical check up
I love this design and it looks both so comfortable and elegant. I hope and wish it will support you with it’s cosyness throughout the trials of the Day.
Thank you both @Chanelandco and @HermesEchidna-- you are both making me feel so much better already.

I have not participated much and am behind because I try to limit use of my phone during the holidays. But seeing all of you here from time to time is wonderful 😍

I love CSGM, in fact my GTN shawl was my first ever H item and I have since added 3 more shawls and 2 triangles. I love my CSGM and wear them almost daily. Although you have seen them repeatedly here I could not not participate this week.

I am travelling now, so I made a little collage of my 6 pieces (GTN, La Selle Imaginaire, Botanica Grafica, Retour à la nature and 2 Bal de Soie triangles)

Hoping to add a lot more in the future 😁

You are visiting the doctors in the utmost style… Just love this on you!
I was fairly late in warming up to shawls (pardon the pun) since I live in a tropical climate and couldn’t justify them in my life and collection. However, after I took the plunge, I discovered their versatility and practicality.

We’ve had extremely warm temperatures over Christmas and this week, so far. Today, it was a sunny 75F/26C so definitely not a cashmere in sight, so I decided to recap my recent shawl outings in cooler weather and to attend the theater/concerts/ballet…
Below, my December CSGM looks beginning with Early America, which I wore to a Christmas Eve matinee of The Nutcracker ballet.

Beautiful @Living.la.vida.fifi, just beautiful. Your Early America is particularly lovely!
Entertaining kids at museums with my Splash Park CSGM. My first CSGM and one of my favourites!

Wonderful @GloWW0rM, Splash Park is the perfect scarf for entertaining kiddos. I just love the whimsey and bright colors.

Rushing out the door to help preparing for traditional family x-mas all-Day lunch at my Mother-in-law’s. Pickeled herring and schnaps and assortment of pork-related foodstuff will be plentiful, so I will not need a warm scarf, but will try to stay cool with my new Colliers de chiens. Tomorrow will be a Day of recovery..:drinks:

Have a great Day everybody!!!
Oh my @HermesEchidna, your Colliers de Chiens is just perfect with your beautiful broach. I hope you had a lovely time at your luncheon.

Hi scarfies! Dropping in to say hello, well wrapped up against December winds with Libre Comme Pégase 140. I do like what Hermès had to say about this one:
Ce cheval aérien, c'est Pégase bien sûr, qui déploie son désir de liberté et de protection, emportant avec lui tous les mythes qui habitent nos rêves d'enfants. Et la nuit, il devient constellation, comme le veut la légende.
Translated: This aerial horse, it's Pegasus of course, who here deploys his wish for freedom and protection, bringing with him all the myths that live in the dreams of children. And at night, he becomes a constellation, according to legend.

The perfect colorway @QuelleFromage of a lovely scarf. I love the green and blues! :girlsigh:

Hello, Scarfies. I had Other Plans for my SOTD but am finding myself in for a day of medical follow ups which is never any fun  At least it will be a bit more bearable as I am wearing a reliable "comfort cashmere"-- my beloved Awooooo. This dear old thing has seen salt spray and sand, rain and wind, its been forgotten on the floor of the car and hastily bunched into a tote bag and still it shines. We mentioned "couch" shawls before and this go-to 100cm may qualify as my most worn cashmere ever. And who doesn't like feeling like her wolf daemon familiar is on the job and ready to howl?
View attachment 5918973
As soon as I can access some internet I will circle back and admire all the day's scarf offerings and mod shots...
This is my favorite colorway of Awooooo @LKBNOLA. I hope it brought you comfort as you went about your doctor's appointments and I hope all is well with you. :hugs:

@LKBNOLA and @Snausages: Here’s the tutorial, tried to recreate as best I can.

1. Gather 1 cashmere-silk (100 or 140), 1 smaller format silk (45 or 60), and 1 hair tie

2. Start by accordian-folding the smaller format silk
1000010503.jpg

3. Wrap around neck, slightly off center, and secure ends with hair tie
1000010504.jpg

4. Fold the CS using the bias fold technique
1000010505.jpg
1000010506.jpg
1000010507.jpg

5. Off center wrap the long end of the CS around the neck going over the smaller format silk
1000010508.jpg
1000010509.jpg

6. Wrap the CS end under the smaller format fan to tie the CS ends together once.
1000010510.jpg

7. Make a bow with the CS ends
1000010511.jpg

8. Now fluff the bow and fan! :)

Ta-da!

I have a home in the mountains above Palm Springs and DH and I go down the mountain for dinner quite often. I know the scarf isn't meant to represent Palm Springs, but I can't help but think of it whenever I wear it. I think it's the architecture, palm trees, skates, and pool that do it for me. Rayures d'Ete was my SOTD. I ended up wearing the cowboy knot so I could show a little pink. (Flat photo from the internet below.)
