Congrats on this lucky find, Jereni!

Thank you, Agrume!

This is so cute!

Fabulous and happy to be your twin, orchard!
Thank you, Croisette!

Hello Scarflandia
I got ill and I am currently dressed in woolen pyjamas and mittens, under two sets of quilts, trying to get warm 🤒. I'm still behind, as I discipline myself not to use my phone too much, but it's so nice to be able to chear meself up by accompanying you from afar, looking at your lovely mod shots in your amazing cashmere eye-candies and reading about your activities in holiday season.
As you imagine, I'm in no mod shots condition, but here's my little contribution for this week with archive shots:
Annie Faivre (Jardin de Maharani) - twin on it with Orchard:

Wishing you all a healthy ending of the week/year
Get well soon, Marta! Your fabulous CSGM collection should keep you warm.

Time to show off scarfmail!!! This one is all @SilkCouture ’s fault - I ran across this Voyages en Etoiffe on TRR and was hypnotized by the colors. And then I remembered that SC had shared this during weather/storm theme week by likening it to an erupting volcano - genius!

It was not under the tree, but is more or less a Christmas gift to myself. Arrived last night and I LOVE IT. Thanks for letting me share!

This absolutely drives the gloomies away @scarf1

One more day at work, and then a week off. SOTD was the smallest format I am aware of in cashmere (comes in handy for wearing under a white coat, which is impossible for the CSGMs). Astres et soleils, a lucky find (and the clochette scarf ring feels just right for this time of the year). 🔔

Oooooh I’ve always wondered about the 45cm cashmeres! This is charming (no pun intended with the scarf ring)
Apart from their beauty the shawls provide a welcome protection from the elements.

You look fab in these! I love them together- splendid matching.

I have not participated much and am behind because I try to limit use of my phone during the holidays. But seeing all of you here from time to time is wonderful 😍

I love CSGM, in fact my GTN shawl was my first ever H item and I have since added 3 more shawls and 2 triangles. I love my CSGM and wear them almost daily. Although you have seen them repeatedly here I could not not participate this week.

I am travelling now, so I made a little collage of my 6 pieces (GTN, La Selle Imaginaire, Botanica Grafica, Retour à la nature and 2 Bal de Soie triangles)

Hoping to add a lot more in the future 😁

Fabulous fifi, especially your Paris mod shots.

It’s a mousseline. They are a lot more durable when one thinks, but I am not enthused about that price tag. I think they are hand dyed with a special technique, plus they have a small embroidery, which adds to the price. These types of scarves have been done before with think cashmere (although those were made in Nepal, I believe). If you google ‘Hermes ombré scarf,’ you will see some examples on the resale market.

Looks warm and cozy!

Stunning design, and I really like how it goes with your jacket. You are always so color-coordinated.

Eek, I hate dealing with cable companies. At least you are impeccably accessorized while dealing with them!

Very cool! You look ready for the winter with this double act.

This looks stunning! Hope the other guests appreciated your fashion statement.

Ohhhh very interesting. Thank you for sharing.

This colorway was definitely so popular this season! I really like it with your sweater.

This is a lovely design. I really wish I could wear cashmere, it would be one of the top on my list.

Stunning as always!!!

You are so gorgeous and have such a command of fashion that compliments you. Always love your pairings and scarf eye candies. Itzhak Perlman is amazing! 🥰

Love your on site Paris pics! You look so cozy and happy in that FP!

Delighted to be twins @EtsyBoss - it looks fabulous on you! I’m starting to think I need a turquoise sweater for this as well

Gorgeous shawl @Awillow and a fun occasion to wear it!

Oh my goodness @LKBNOLA so much to love about these posts! That Awoooo tho…

This is a very warm and cozy look @yuzulife

TY @Living.la.vida.fifi and my word you have the most amazing shawls and jewelry combos!

Wonderful new-in @MabelJo - and congrats on having a thoughtful hubs!

@HermesEchidna lovely combo with the brooch

Great shawl @GloWW0rM and I was *just* reading about this gloriously unwrinkled walrus!

Thank you for posting the Story Behind and what a gorgeous look @QuelleFromage

TY sister @Jereni and this is such a lovely and soft look!

TY for the ZP love @Croisette7 (it’s always a hazard when friends ask you to look for something at the boutique - several times I’ve wound up adding to the collex unexpectedly!) and here’s another shawl in a colorway I never knew about! It ties beautifully and love the matching bangle

These are beautiful @Redbirdhermes - hard to pick a fave!

And TYSM @redheaddem

Beautiful, and show us those knots when you try them with GTs.

So sweet for that occasion, and what a great blue, Awillow!

Thank you, LKBNOLA, for the kind compliment and the Sargent link! I wish I could visit this exhibition.

Best of luck with your appointment, it can feel very lonely, and at least you have a trusted scarf to keep you warm!

What a great pairing, scarf and sweater, yuzulife!

Thank you, Fifi, and thanks for sharing your CSGM collection! Love this Early America!

Thank you, MabelJo, and I am sure your CSGM collection will keep growing’ CdL is so beautiful!

Thank you, AnnaE!

A nice walrus to pose with, GloWW0rM! The scarf is perfect for the occasional, playful and joyful!

Enjoy the day, HermesEchidna! Perfect outfit for it!

Beautiful. QuelleFromage, and thanks for dropping by!

Thank you, Jereni, and congratulations with your scarf mail! Always nice when you find a scarf you were looking for. And those leopards are a perfect fit for your colouring!

Gorgeous, and with the matching bracelet!

Very nice collection of GTs, RBH! This cw of Bal de soie is also great!

Happy Holidays scarflandia! I've been so busy with work and holiday guests that all I've been able to do is keep up with your wonderful posts and mod shots. I think I've worn out the Like/Love buttons! :hbeat: Thank you to everyone who has contributed over the past couple of weeks - your examples are inspiring and so appreciated!

A very special thank you to @Living.la.vida.fifi for being such a wonderful host last week, your jewelry and scarf pairings are extraordinary.

And a very special thank you to @Agrume for being our fabulous guide this week. A week I've been waiting for because my collecting goal for 2023 was to try out CSGMs - a new to me size and format.

I'm thrilled to show you the lovely shawl I found under my holiday tree, compliments of DH (who picked it out all by himself!) - my Clair de Lune Shawl in noir/blanc. I know you've seen it before (and I'm twins and sisters with many of you), but I'm so happy I'd like to share it again. Here are a couple quick pics of my new Christmas scarf:

Rushing out the door to help preparing for traditional family x-mas all-Day lunch at my Mother-in-law’s. Pickeled herring and schnaps and assortment of pork-related foodstuff will be plentiful, so I will not need a warm scarf, but will try to stay cool with my new Colliers de chiens. Tomorrow will be a Day of recovery..:drinks:

Hi scarfies! Dropping in to say hello, well wrapped up against December winds with Libre Comme Pégase 140. I do like what Hermès had to say about this one:
Ce cheval aérien, c'est Pégase bien sûr, qui déploie son désir de liberté et de protection, emportant avec lui tous les mythes qui habitent nos rêves d'enfants. Et la nuit, il devient constellation, comme le veut la légende.
Translated: This aerial horse, it's Pegasus of course, who here deploys his wish for freedom and protection, bringing with him all the myths that live in the dreams of children. And at night, he becomes a constellation, according to legend.

Hello, Scarfies. I had Other Plans for my SOTD but am finding myself in for a day of medical follow ups which is never any fun  At least it will be a bit more bearable as I am wearing a reliable "comfort cashmere"-- my beloved Awooooo. This dear old thing has seen salt spray and sand, rain and wind, its been forgotten on the floor of the car and hastily bunched into a tote bag and still it shines. We mentioned "couch" shawls before and this go-to 100cm may qualify as my most worn cashmere ever. And who doesn't like feeling like her wolf daemon familiar is on the job and ready to howl?

What a fabulous pairing with the bangle!

Morning Scarflandia,

I haven’t been sharing much this week as I haven’t taken many scarfselfies and then it was raining and yucky for two days. Today I am going to be back at it with a multi-scarf day if I can manage it. This morning’s choice is Douze Leopards, which is a treasure, but then I feel that way about all 4 of my CSGMs lol. Hoping for more sunny skies later today, as I’m going to metro into the city and pick up a new watch!!! Very exciting. And have some scarfmail to share later.

I have been taking advantage of our mild fall and winter weather to wear these scarves during my daily walks. Brides et Destin went with me on a recent walk, but I have yet to introduce it as my scarf of the day. Time to fix that.

My scarf of the day is Brides et Destin CSGT by Daiske Nomura.

View attachment 5919020
What a gorgeous and very varied collection of triangles! Love them all, but my eyes are drawn to the cobalt Bal de Soie, though the Folklore is super cool

Today, I'm thrilled to share my Retour a la Nature CSGM with everyone. I'm currently visiting a town where the weather is just perfect for wearing my CSGMs daily. I've paired it with a Double D scarf ring in Permabrass, which I've found to be the ideal size for shawls.

I was fairly late in warming up to shawls (pardon the pun) since I live in a tropical climate and couldn’t justify them in my life and collection. However, after I took the plunge, I discovered their versatility and practicality.
I would like to share, in order, my first three shawls… They remain go-to favorites
