its a great color, it’s just kinda lonely in its color... so like what’s it complementary color? Blue is primary, bluegreen/turquoisey/green…. Purply blue, reddish bleu… Imma hafta put my thinking cap on!

I’m not an expert in the types of silk used in our 140’s. But if there is a winter silk this is def it!! Otherwise it’s just regular silk twill then. It’s thick and heavy. I normally don’t mind but it ended up creeping up to 82 and I was dying and had to take it all off haha.
Cheval Phoenix ( for short) 140. My only 140 silk and I LOVE it. A couple of x’s on it. But not as many as I thought.

Gosh I love that Art L’Indienne! The colors in it are so rich and fun together!

I'm heading out of town for Halloween and more fun things. But never fear, I have some scarf tricks and treats up my sleeve (or rather in my suitcase). SOTD is Peuple du Vent CSGM with some wonderful fall colors and a spicy pumpkin border. I love this design in this format! Looks like there are some Xs, too. Twins with @Croisette7 who inspired me on this fun and vibrant cw and a hat tip to @Nomad, who was very helpful in my decision process with this addition!

Heading off to spend the day in NYC but first a huge thank you to @xincinsin for such a great theme and to all y'all for great scarf examples, interpretations, stretches and finds. I thought my algebra days were long behind me, but I truly loved "solving for X" and today all my skeletons have come out of the closet!!

And speaking of skeletons, my SOYE, twins with my pal @Redbirdhermes, @Living.la.vida.fifi and many others... the incomparable C'est la Fete. I am very grateful to Mr. Bones for letting me borrow his Mr. Bones scarf; in fact, he was surprisingly nice about it...
