I think it is great that you have started just wearing it @Teaforparrots! That transition happened for me at the start of the pandemic when I made a pact to wear a scarf every single day. It was good to de-mystify them and begin to enjoy them more!This scarf wasn’t a 2022 purchase, but my approach to wearing it changed over the course of the year. When I first purchased it I was very precious about it, just wearing it for “special.” Now I love to wear it around the house and on errands to brighten up my drab colored but comfortable sweatshirt, or to the farmers market. I did remove it while I was painting some shelf standards earlier today

This year was a doozy fer sure, and I am patting myself on the back for making it through - with the help of a lil Vitamin H!
My favorite purchases though… that’s a tough decision - because Hooooo Wheeee - I had a really good year - 2 grails, some beautiful moussies, a LE, and several lovely scarves both old and new.

I am glad you re starting to feel better and I love being 2/3rds triplets with you on Chorus Stellarum. I "did a thing" (yep-- another thing)-- so now I have three also. I am telling myself these cws are not to be missed... I love your beautiful csgms @bunnycat. No better way to feel beautiful and cozy even when yu are not 100% the scarf makes up for it...Coming soon is next year's thread so you can have a look at it a few days early. I will try to get to that here in a bit.

These are all such wonderful choices! And, my eyes are drawn to that striking Chorus Stellarum with which I am yoir twinI always love wrapping up the end of year with a good look at my own collection and also love seeing everyone’s new pieces. It’s such a fun week!
I brought in 35 scarves this year, 26 exited my collection to new homes. I have a lot more to go to new homes still. My plan is to release an older piece in my collection if I bring in a new piece, in an attempt to really hone my collection to those I ReAlLy love and can’t live without. I got MANY grails this year, which is super exciting, even if overwhelming :-0.
5 are from the 2022 seasons ( I think. I get confused sometimes based on how late I can get my hands on scarves sometimes). lanterns, chorus, becanes, double face passades, and marble doll twilly I have no photo of. 1 I bought in 2022, but is from 2021 I think, tea time. 2 are older designs that popped on h.com this year, farniente pareo ( my only pareo) and kachinas wash ( my only wash).

The amazing double-sided Clair de Lune
Though I had purchased the black CW of Duo Cosmique last year, I received the beautiful pink CW as a Mother’s Day gift this year
And, two favorite Kermit Oliver designs entered my collection this year. The first was this Kachinas giant triangle. Though I already own two other CWs, I always regretted not getting this one and was thrilled that it finally came my way
The second Kermit Oliver was this Pani la Shar Pawnee wash scarf
And, finally, I added this beauty in a new-to-me format: Equateur maxi twilly cut
The amazing double-sided Clair de Lune

For me 2022 was also a year of exploring the larger formats. I fell hard for the CSGM and the CSGT in FW 2021, buying my first ones in the boutique and then acquiring my grail Parures at the end of last year. This year I decided that I wanted to anchor my small (but growing) CSGM collection with four older designs and I was lucky to find them for retail or under and in excellent condition. I wear these at night for the most part so I apologize for the lighting in my photos.
