Today I will share some silks in my collection that are as far from holiday-themed than they can be, but which work so well during the festive season!

This CW of Fouets et Badines makes for a great holiday scarf, especially when worn with a red top

Napoleon… I especially find that the little red bows on the corners are very festive. This is an archive pic as I wore it to a Christmas luncheon

And, these are my pups, Luke and Heidi, last Christmas. This September we lost our senior dog, Heidi the dachshund, who was 15 years old. So, this pic was of our last Christmas with her

Thank you to everyone for sharing such wonderful scarves the last few weeks and months. I've been enjoying them so much but haven't had much time to share my own treasures. 2022 opened the door to what is now an obsession. For now, I'm sharing this Marche du Zambeze I meant to share Friday for its little flash of purple. It was date night and I tried out a new-to-me knot. Looking forward to sharing and seeing all of the beautiful scarves in what's left of 2022 and then on to 2023!

Zambeze is so wonderful! I was so pleased to see so many fabulous CWs on the reissue

Festive SOTD as I catch up with holiday errands I couldn’t accomplish when I was recently ill. I love the happy soft and bold colors of this design. Fêtes Venitiennes. It’s a cowboy knot with the excess fabric folded over the knot. You are all showing some merry scarves today, which I will look at more closely when I get home.

These are delightful and so clever!

My girls want to wish everyone the happiest of holidays!
(In keeping with our H theme, please note the little sliver of orange box on the left!)

Such cute kitties! And so well behaved!

When I first saw this scarf I was certain that Hermès had issued a knit scarf.

But no, it is silk. Here are a couple of shots with actual woolen knits.

I love the sleigh and reindeer, the fake tag, and the different color hems on the different sides. My scarf of the day is Au Coin du Feu.

It is a very special scarf, and it is beautiful on you!

Never thought of Napoleon or Bonsai as holiday-themed, but they sure work! Very cool. Heidi is so cute here

Well, asking everyone's indulgence for my post! I started my very early (and cold) day under a white New England sky trying to take a car selfie of my two scarf SOTD, then I collected a very special addition to our family. A little discombobulated after his flight to Boston from Atlanta, but by the end of the car ride, I was being showered with kisses. Meet Scout-- the newest addition to our family.
