I am still fumbling around trying navigate and all. And fumbling around with complex knots is apparently a challenge! I will study everyone’s instructions for later this week. Anyhow this is a Vif Argent with a white chaine d’ancre scarf ring in what according to my book is style 258

Welcome! It looks so elegant!
Hi !! Just had the most wonderful DHL delivery all the way from Moscow, and wanted to share. Introducing my newest samourai colorway. I put it on immediately and rather think it works with this yellow sweater. I’m in love with it. I even tried a knot I saw on Instagram this past weekend ! I think my regate ring is too small so I’ll try again later this week with a larger one. Thanks for letting me share, and hope you’re all doing well.

THIS LOOKS SO GOOD!!! I adore this colorway and never thought to pair with yellow. Congrats on tracking this one down.

This picture makes me want to buy a coloured top!:p This CW has so many lovely colours the yellow top really highlights this. Fab combo and congrats on your scarf mail.:flowers:

Anyone else here a fan of Dimitri Rybaltchenko scarves? I have fallen in love with Hola Flamenco! What are some other designs of his I should check out by name?
I really like (but do not own) Please Check In (original 70cm version), Space Shopping au Faubourg, Minuit au Faubourg, Magic Kelly, and of course Les Toits de Paris. :-)

Love it, perfect with the sunny yellow!

One of my go to winter knots is what I call an infinity knot (maybe it has a better name somewhere else??? Who knows!) I did a tut for it over in the "how to" thread in the Ref Lib with I highly recommend! So many of our lovely members have contributed there, with many amazing knots and lots of new ideas in the last 4-6 pages!

Zambeze in an infinity knot keeping me cozy:

tute here:

Great and practical knot! What a glorious pop of color this Zambeze is

Oh I love your infinity knot, it showcases the giraffe of LMZ very beautifully! And I like the color contrast between black and orange. So stunning and chic... :loveeyes:Thanks for sharing the URL of the tutorial, I just tried it for running few errands with my boys! :panic:

Ooooh, came out beautifully! Love this CW

My first fumble with the snail knot. My main problem was that the folds kept getting undone. I'll try this again with other scarves. Would softer or stiffer be better, I wonder? Would a plisse work with this knot?
View attachment 4998361
And emboldened by this non-disaster, I tried a knot which the Synergy Life lady did in another video. She used a 70cm scarf. I had to use a 90, so she must be very petite!
View attachment 4998364
Fumble? I think they look marvelous!

Love this CW of Eperons, which I also am happy to own... Classic!

Oh, your knot is beautiful, dear @xincinsin !
Thanks for trying :hbeat:

To add a little bit more if you're not satisfied with your knot, I think it would be good to make the front corner of the left side more wider.

I pulled the front side of the triangular fold to downward & to left quite a bit when I was tidying it up, so if you look at the picture below, the back half is barely noticeable.
View attachment 4998406
View attachment 4998403

To make left corner (front half of the triangular fold) wider:
(1) pull the scarf on your right (I marked it as A in photo) a little more to the left
View attachment 4998402and (2) pull the left corner to more left and downward, and spread it more roundly.

And this is my Ziplock method for adjusting the drapes:

Sorry that my hand drawings are so bad.. :crybaby:
Hope it helps, dear @xincinsin !!

It would be easier to explain if I could take a video. Next time, I'm going to ask my husband for help! :girlsigh:
Great explanations!

Great news, Bunnycat!
Your Tyger is gorgeous and styled beautifully with your sweater. Chiff tips his hat to your felines. View attachment 4998486

7. And it's a variation of Half Bow knot,
I made two half bows with my Jaguar Quetzal!
I named it as 'Double Half Bow Knot'
View attachment 4998503
You can see the two bows closely in the picture below :blush:View attachment 4998504

I previously posted that I would put all the references of my knots this week. This knot is so famous and I think many of you scarf ladies already know how to do it... But to keep my promise, I recommend dear Maitai's tutorial! I love her wonderful knots always.

And, I'll post my 'Double Half Bow Knot' tutorial. it's a humble tutorial as usual, but hope you like it!

+) Oh and does anyone know the tutorial URL of BFK? I fell in love with BFK when I saw @Pirula 's beautiful knot, but I don't know how...:panic: I really want to try it, too! Please let me know if you know how. I really appreciate if you can help me! ♡
It's the tutorial of Double Half Bow Knot,
Hope you like it!

If the first bow(A) and second bow(B) are fixed together with one rubber band, the bows may be loosened when you adjust your knot at final step. I recommend that you fix the first bow(A) only with the rubber band!

+) And you can make this knot without Chain D'Ancre scarf ring! Instead of fixing the knot with the scarf ring, you can make a simple knot and loosen it and pull the bows through it!

Thank you so much for reading this post, dear Scarfies!
Hope you have a beautiful sunshiny day :flowers:
I love this knot which I first learned from MaiTai but your variation is wonderful. Hate to slow down the thread, but I don’t quite get the point on the second or third step where bow fans out into two? How do you do that? Looks so beautiful with all of the scarves. Just adore how the Toucans and JQ looks on you

Ooooh! That’s lovely and looks easy. Necessary for moi. Going to try it!

speaking of easy here’s another go to for me, especially in winter with a turtleneck. So warm... just bias fold, wrap around neck, and tie ends in a hacking knot.
