I love gavroches and tend to forget about them in winter. This Robes is so cute!

Totally agree that Virginie Jamin‘s designs are glorious! I missed Brides et Gris Gris and your colorways tie beautifully. I might have to research that one! We are twins on a few Jamin lovelies and hope one day to find a Colliers de Chien CSGM. Fingers Crossed! Dancing Pearls is amazing with a white top ....really shows off the vivid purple.

Beautiful colorway Karenska!!

Thank you so much!

Those pups are adorable peeking out. Pretty lavender colorway.
Thanks so much, Magjes!

Today wearing another designer I am very fond of (Annie Faivre) in a format I have come to love. This past week has been very rough. With our house temps turned down to try and avoid power outages, my days were spent buried in cashmere, layered on top of my fuzzy house robe, which was over my winter sweaters and pants plus 2 layers of socks and house slippers....and I hope you'll forgive the lack of photo evidence. And by night I would pile on the cats and surprisingly, my cotton pareos became indispensable night gear after I fell asleep in one some afternoon and decided a really warm neck was a good thing and "hey...washable!" So I started wearing them to sleep at night during the coldest of the cold  and they are now my faithful friends.

My NTM love  Grand Fonds pareo today while out in the melty, drippy ice doing clean up:

And not quite on topic unless we can consider a future love..... I have longed for a Kyoto Marble silk since I first saw them, but never really got it together on the first floral one, and tho I love the marbling technique, wasn't as fond of the second design. So I am thrilled to put this little wonder in to Mr Bcat's SGV for now and await the acquisition of this pretty pink specialness. This is the best of both world's for me. I won't have to deal with the dreaded white background, but get the beautiful flower from the first batch of scarves by them I liked so much.

Thank you twin! :hugs:

It is such a beautiful scarf and each corner is different - which makes it like having 4 scarves in one! This is lovely on you!
There is a tutorial on the How to thread: https://forum.purseblog.com/threads...carves-no-chatter.189943/page-7#post-33262736, it's post #100. :flowers:
Thank you so much! Love seeing your scarves and posts!

Wearing the Phoenix vert amande cw today. This was issued in the same season as the grail anthracite cw which hogged all the limelight (for good reason!). Ms Vert Amande has her own charms. (And yes, worn with home wear again)

Glorious CW!

I adore anything animal print and CE is such a good one!

I'm off to visit my father today on the occasion of his 95th birthday. It seems that the colorful exuberance of Jan Bajtlik's Animapolis fits the bill. He is among my favorite designers. The pearls are white baroque Tahitians.

How marvelous to tie both Napoleons together! All very special

Fri-yay’s sweet designer for me is Anamorphee - the dynamic duo of Charlotte Halpern and Bertrand Houdin.
First a picture of Metamorpose d’un Carre. This is unsigned, and I’m not 100% that is is Anamorphee - but the little origami design is so similar to Cocottes de Soie, that I think it must/might be! (Sadly I can’t find a mod foto!)

Definitely among my favorite scarves.... Love your ELeKs so much

And now to the grocery with Paperoles CSGM

Paperoles in this format is magnificent

I was drawn to Ex Libris en Kimonos this morning, too. It is the scarf I wear the most (and every single time, my husband asks, "Is that new?"). I don't know other designs but would love more CWs of this one, for sure. Also would love to learn how @Cookiefiend ties that double knot! Also grateful for @Living.la.vida.fifi for her scarf instagram site that is so so informative on so many beautiful designs. I have learned a lot!

Oooh, thank you so much for such a lovely comment... May I have your IG handle?

I guess I’m back in business :yahoo:. Tohu Bohu, a design that ties creatively as a twill but when plisse’d? Crazy-fun!

And two distinctly different graphic gavs tied together, featuring two iconic artists. Sangles (Jamin) and Pegasus Pop (Rybaltchenko). View attachment 4995756
Both amazing... I wouldn’t have known that the plisee is TB... Stunning!

“A cheval sur mon Carre” in Jersey (fluide) format. I really like the fluides as they are so easy to wear.
Framboise colorway..cheery color for dreary drizzly day.

Love this... beautiful colors

Most favourite designers are for me the triple A - Alice, Aline et Annie. Though my list is growing, thanks to this blog... SOTD, for many, very different, Zoom meetings, was Zebra Pegasus.

Also one of my favs... This is such a wonderful design!

Oh dear! You have gone through so much these past few days... So glad the weather is improving! This design is indeed much more wearable than the previous white background marbles... I would be so afraid of anything touching them! Love how this ties, too!

Two of my favorite Hermès designers are Alice Shirley and the duo of Anamorphée.

Cookie!! Love them all but the ex libris is amazing!!! You are making me want a second colorway now, sighhhh. I love the burgundy sweater and lippie. Happy Fri-yay and I hope to free up this weekend to post again soon. Miss all the posts in this thread.
**hi friends**
❤️❤️❤️
Am I seeing doubles??
Amazingly Gorgeous!!

I am off to google Perspective Cavalieres! It appears to tie beautifully and is so colorful!

The neutral Presentation de Chevaux is gorgeous!
:giggle: Yes - doubles! PC is one of my favorites, especially that first one. It’s truly an example of H Magic - no one but H would ever put those colors together in such a fabulous way!
I have the red based Ex libris en kimonos too! It has a couple of pulled threads, the tag is missing and I suspect it was professionally cleaned with a bit too much enthusiasm since the colors are kind of washed out...but it was a really good deal given the prices of this design online, "only" 200 euros, and I'm happy with it!
OMG I love the Metamorphose d'un carrè  This thread is so dangerous, I have to refrain myself from buying too much...unfortunately my budget isn't as big as my wishlist of scarves :amuse:
This is a very dangerous thread- it should have a warning sign!
Some of my most loved scarves have a few flaws - I don’t even notice them. The red based ELenK as my first, I love it, and I am so happy to be your twin. ❤️
