“A cheval sur mon Carre” in Jersey (fluide) format. I really like the fluides as they are so easy to wear.
Framboise colorway..cheery color for dreary drizzly day.

So pretty and such a great color - it is perfect for a dreary day! So nice to see a jersey scarf, and to see you here too!

Fri-yay’s sweet designer for me is Anamorphee - the dynamic duo of Charlotte Halpern and Bertrand Houdin.
First a picture of Metamorpose d’un Carre. This is unsigned, and I’m not 100% that is is Anamorphee - but the little origami design is so similar to Cocottes de Soie, that I think it must/might be! (Sadly I can’t find a mod foto!)

Next - Perspective Cavaliere - I love this design!

Lastly - the beautiful Ex Libris en Kimonos

My latest joyful find, and channeling our sweet @Foxy trini with a dark red sweater and red lippy! ❤

ooh never seen the first origami scarf. I consulted Fontan’s book - she says designer is Karen Petrossian.
first edition was 2000.

and of course love your CW of EXLK!
I was drawn to Ex Libris en Kimonos this morning, too. It is the scarf I wear the most (and every single time, my husband asks, "Is that new?"). I don't know other designs but would love more CWs of this one, for sure. Also would love to learn how @Cookiefiend ties that double knot! Also grateful for @Living.la.vida.fifi for her scarf instagram site that is so so informative on so many beautiful designs. I have learned a lot!
View attachment 4995734
great! Glad your DH loves it too
I guess I’m back in business :yahoo:. Tohu Bohu, a design that ties creatively as a twill but when plisse’d? Crazy-fun!
View attachment 4995757
And two distinctly different graphic gavs tied together, featuring two iconic artists. Sangles (Jamin) and Pegasus Pop (Rybaltchenko). View attachment 4995756
Ooh what. A great plisse!

WARNING! EPIC QUOTE LIST BELOW!

First of all- thank you everyone for all the kind comments and all the lovely pictures this week. Though the city outage map cuts firmly across our property line, here I am still! :shrugs: I'll take it! (but spent the entire morning preparing for outage anyway...)
I had a short walk, and some great satisfaction knocking melting icicles off the roofline with a stick.

I spent most of the morning inside a freezing doctors office today. I took one of my favorite shawls to keep me warm... Another Virginie Jamin graphic wonder: Fouets et Badines. I also own the 90 edition below

Glorious fifi!

@Cookiefiend and @bunnycat have enabled many of us ( ME ME ME!!) to go down that moussie pathway :drinks:. my wallet is not happy about it this month!!

 but your heart is!

:police: Warning: More vintage :police:
Wanted to throw some love to Christiane Vauzelles with some of her designs which are fav’s (and I have mod shots of)... not all are horsey, but simply prettily executed:

I adore that PM cashmere!

Wearing the Phoenix vert amande cw today. This was issued in the same season as the grail anthracite cw which hogged all the limelight (for good reason!). Ms Vert Amande has her own charms. (And yes, worn with home wear again)

another beauty - and great with your green top, Croisette!

beautiful, Moma!

great scarves, Fifi, and agree, those graphical scarves are special!

Thank you! Been trying to!

Gorgeous Croisette!

Bunnycat, could you install a heating pad or blanket? I did that once for Schwartzkatz, a black panther of a kitty, the winter before he ‘let us’ adopt him. That was around 1987/8. At that time we had the novelty of a house call vet. Schwartzy was so muscular and taught, that when we adopted him and doc came to neuter him, the anesthesia didn’t put him fully out. Out enough for surgery but not out cold. So I gently held him to keep him still while doc did his business. After which he became a beloved house kitty who got very happy and chubby.

I have spare Snuggle Safe, but he didn't like it, so just went with the pillow and fleece topper instead, and he was in there again today (and AGAIN I didn't know and scared the poor little dude). I wish I could get him tamed enough to trap and neuter. That is on my list if he will let me.

More beauties!

I'm off to visit my father today on the occasion of his 95th birthday. It seems that the colorful exuberance of Jan Bajtlik's Animapolis fits the bill. He is among my favorite designers. The pearls are white baroque Tahitians.

True beauties dear scarfie!

I have learned a lot!

two very different and very beautiful scarves!

I'm off to visit my father today on the occasion of his 95th birthday. It seems that the colorful exuberance of Jan Bajtlik's Animapolis fits the bill. He is among my favorite designers. The pearls are white baroque Tahitians.

All worn beautifully- loving especially your double bow... is there a tutorial for this?
Also does the Christine Legarde fold-over stay in place (or do you use magnets) :confused1:

Fri-yay’s sweet designer for me is Anamorphee - the dynamic duo of Charlotte Halpern and Bertrand Houdin.
First a picture of Metamorpose d’un Carre. This is unsigned, and I’m not 100% that is is Anamorphee - but the little origami design is so similar to Cocottes de Soie, that I think it must/might be! (Sadly I can’t find a mod foto!)

And now to the grocery with Paperoles CSGM

Gorgeous CSGM, and paired with fur cuffs... :faint:

I was drawn to Ex Libris en Kimonos this morning, too. It is the scarf I wear the most (and every single time, my husband asks, "Is that new?"). I don't know other designs but would love more CWs of this one, for sure. Also would love to learn how @Cookiefiend ties that double knot! Also grateful for @Living.la.vida.fifi for her scarf instagram site that is so so informative on so many beautiful designs. I have learned a lot!

You’ve styled this so prettily. I just love the designs that look like multiples when tied differently

I guess I’m back in business :yahoo:. Tohu Bohu, a design that ties creatively as a twill but when plisse’d? Crazy-fun!

“A cheval sur mon Carre” in Jersey (fluide) format. I really like the fluides as they are so easy to wear.
Framboise colorway..cheery color for dreary drizzly day.

I’m always so impressed how this design ties- just lovely on you

Most favourite designers are for me the triple A - Alice, Aline et Annie. Though my list is growing, thanks to this blog... SOTD, for many, very different, Zoom meetings, was Zebra Pegasus.

I love all the scarfs on you, truely! So inspiring to see the colorways you choose :-), it is helpful for me to make up my mind for my next scarf. According to Carrés d´art IV the, Metamorphoses d´un carré is a Karen Petrossian design.

Glorious fifi!

 but your heart is!

I adore that PM cashmere!

perfect with your around the house top! (Which is FAB!!!)

Thank you! Been trying to!

Gorgeous Croisette!

Fantastic colors!!! :ps:

Glorious Ledoux!

True beauties dear scarfie!

Wonderful colors on your ElenK!

I adore that Pegase Pop! (twins too!)

Beautiful essiedub!
Thank you, bunnycat!
