Apologies that it’s not on theme - and I don’t think I own any designs that are actually winter themed! But this is my actual STOD - wearing a Kawa Ora shawl with some cheery (and my favorite) color yellow to keep myself bundled up and warm on a bad weather day.

Momoc
This KO looks so dreamy on you! Love how warm
And cozy you looks with these soft browns and cremes!

we had tracks, human tracks that came to the front door and then walked away...no package, no "sorry we missed you", no flyers, very strange.
Hopefully it was a "got the address wrong" situation.

This scarf ring is a perfect fit, Xincinsin!
Cousins on this shawl And it’s one of my favorites to wear. LOVE the ring you’ve used to hold them secure.
Love this one so much! And, interesting scarf ring
Repurposed vintage oval napkin ring by Stieff. A very good size for CSGM  There are two or three on the bay at the moment if anyone is keen on getting one.

Hello dear twin!
Always chuffed to be your twin, Croisette!

You look nice and comfy xincinsin!
 The office is always super cold.

I love this in red! I used to be your cousin with a tan colorway but ended up rehoming it. I have trouble wrangling the 140 silks.
:hugs: Me too.

The crystals on Pierres et Cristaux Wash scarf
give me that ice cold winter feeling.

They used to sell children's science kits which let you grow your own crystals. I was fascinated by them!

I have 2 specific winter/ Xmas 90s that I wear exclusively from late Nov through end of Dec. ( Noel au F And neigh d’antan).
I have managed to collect some CSGMs to wear during the colder weather. Today’s SOTD Arbre du vent.

Such glorious colours! Especially against that sweater!

Xcs, I thought I might be able to count on you for support in this interpetation. You are a creative!
You can always count on my imagination

Just got her today...first Hermès scarf and first trip to the Hermès boutique. I love her!!!!! She is so me! And I had a wonderful time!View attachment 4976906View attachment 4976907

Love love this! :hbeat: Grey and yellow go so well together!

Both you and Lanit have this amazing Navy colorway of grand Nords. I love it.

 This is soooo pretty!

Thank you Fifi!

I’m delighted to be twins with you with this beautiful CSGM. I love the color of your sweater. Perfect for this colorway
yes twins! Thank you- yes that sweater was a Xmas gift, and it works well with quite a few of my scarves.
It's like little fluffy clouds! :cloud9:

I've really been enjoying all the Arbre du Vent's that I've seen lately! Spectacular colors!

Superb winter selections fifi!
thank you!
Enjoyed this week‘s eye candy especially! Such cozy combos and wonderful wintry treasures! ❤ Many grails for me as somehow I have a soft spot for winter scarfs... Sorry for not commenting much - am just a bit too slow here...;) From the archives: small Noel and Neige CS:

I loved how happy, vibrant yet elegant the design is. I have always loved the 20’s and 30’s, seen every Fred and Ginger movie. She is perfect for me! Meant to be!

ooo - beautiful! ❤️
This is a drive by, be back soon. La Legende du cheval a la plumes - actual SOTD. Didn’t wear this lippie for work day videos though, put it on after for a “virtual happy hour”.
Perfect, hope your happy hour was as fun as your scarf!
The epitome of winter softness!
Thank you so much! ❤️
SOTD - Soft blues and gray work for winter. It's all in the textures! Brides et Gris Gris.

Beautiful blues!

@momoc, I love the Kawa Oro on you! I’ve never seen that colorway and it’s perfect. Somehow the yellow and the cream and gray seems wintery to me! Plus, you have e best hair!

@Langsam, I love the cool tones of the violet and blue gray combo edged in black. So crisp!

I was very behind in catching up and somehow combined the dark and winter themes in my head. Thank you @bunnycat for the ‘extra’ points, and I agree with @More bags that you deserve double for ice fishing!

Dark colors such as deep purple or burgundy work so much better for me than black, but these shades seem to be scarce in Hermes scarves. So I was pleased to find this dipdye in aubergine and wine recently. The feel of the dipdye is amazing as well.

Introducing my first Brides de Gala in aubergine/lie de vin surteint dipdye.
I’m proud to be twins with @Redbirdhermes on the dip dye surteint above as I love her taste. Re this particular surteint pattern, @momasaurus, I know the feeling of rehoming too hastily and then kicking yourself afterwards (I did it with the ebene version of this sur teint — I was on a minimalist kick and felt I should choose since I didn’t wear them that often). Ugh. I still miss the brown.

Thank you, @More bags, the aubergine dip dye feels darker to me than black scarves in my collection bc the latter are often set off by white, light gray or brights (ex libris noir natural; tiger royal in black, grey or sieste au paradis with blck bordered shells). Here is the dip dye with an older Maitai fur collar from long ago (oddly the photo is bright); a black and white jersey Bolduc au carre (the latter, the skinnier me used to wear with the mors scarf ring, ruffled or as a top in the spring summer; EL noir natural and Tigre royal CSGMs. Here is Tigre royal with a taupe brunello cuchinelli alpaca wool coat.

The other CSGMs that I’ve been wearing this winter are duo etriers (Navy, Forest green, light blue grey, esp. in sartorial geometric designs seem winter to me too) and covetures de tenue. Here with an H sellier cashmere leather bomber jacket. Someone mentioned difficulty in wearing necklaces with scarves; I do it by pulling the CSGM tightly around the neck and have the necklace dangle below.

since I was so behind, I just wanted to mention that I’ve enjoyed everyones photos; was thrown into nostalgia re remembrances of past flattened plisses (not sure if anyone remembers @sdsurfchick’s dry cleaner
, either Halley or Madame Paulette, who could plisse both silk and cashmere); learned new terms like UHG and sisterhood of scarves (a la tolkien); and feel that the most wintery prizes in the last fifty pages should go to the fuzzy slippers belonging to @Cookiefiend and more recently to @MAGJES ‘s cat Winston with his gorgeous arctic blue grey eyes. @xincinsin, a dry cleaner might be able to further de plisse the astrologie? I now miss my long gone plisse s and my astrologie black and white pointu.

@BowieFan1971, love your new 70. The cream and peach is so perfect! It makes me think of ice cream and frozen peaches which I happily eat in the dead of winter. I’m glad that you have shared the start of your H journey with us!

plus some ex libris archived action pics from younger thinner days (post #605 ex libris CSGM as a dress — no idea how I managed that — oh, the thirty less pounds on my 5’2” frame might have somerhing to do with it —) I still have the chanel puffer in the sense that it lives in my moms closet as she hasn’t changed sizes as much as I have in the past decade. It does occur to me that I prefer 140s when I fit into the larger sizes in the closet (Which happens to be in winter).

Such beautiful colors, MB. This is a great way to show off some of the design, and tidy, too.
Thanks Karenska! :hbeat:
So chic, More bags ... and twins!
Thank you Croisette. High five twin! :ghi:
I love this Jardin, MB! It really pops with your sweater. Great hem!
Thank you so much Awillow!
This colorway is a beauty.
Thank you Magjes!
Samourais today. I started off thinking shawl, but opted for 90 instead.View attachment 4974650View attachment 4974652
Just gorgeous Awillow!
I’m starting out the day with black bordered Pony Express

My 1st scarf of the new season arrived yesterday and spent the entire day on my neck! I failed to take a photo but am sharing the yellow washed Zambeze with two other yellows in my collection. I am delightfully surprised to find that a washed scarf can be this vivid.

I like the way you tied PE. The colour on Zambeze is spectacular.
Thanks more bags!! It’s one of those work-isms we use at my job. For example if going out to a client site “what’s the dress code over at client x? Business casual or is this a suited and booted deal?” I should compile a list when I retire of all of our company jargon. Smh
 I hear you on the jargon.
Popping in real quick with an Everyday H, my old faithful Les Fusils - worn while cleaning and cooking for a friend’s birthday dinner.

I love the first one with your jewelry.
Second one looks great on you, too!
Bonsoir, I’m off to a beautiful dinner in a yurt and it occurs to me that my SOTD is dark/not dark and certainly has black, as does the dress. Have a lovely evening everyone...
