Wintry silks seem to abound in my tansu. A few tied and untied. On the subject to tying, I avoid intricate knots and just appreciate the simplest means of wearing my shawls and scarves. So many gals like to do creative gymnastics / origami with their scarves. For me, H scarves are already typically busy in pattern and colors so I err towards less is more to allow the artistic design of a scarf flow. My two cents anyway. I’ll always favor wearing my 90’s casually vs. overly prim. Happy week all!

I tried Bova’s fat knot (BFK) and here it is with my men’s “SILK MIX” and a cozy waffle shirt.
My most used CSGM.
Very snuggly and warm.

Nice job, and I love the name! It looks like you have actually knotted the ends, whereas I simply weave them like a weave or hacking knot. Either works, and in fact I think I'll try the knot as you did...looks equally cozy and compact!

Wearing Savana dance in the 140 cm format. It was my second 140 scarf, but the first bought in store and not second hand. I purchased it while on holiday in Paris in june 2020, a truly wonderful trip that allowed me to see my favorite city without the usual crowds.

congrats! I was supposed to be in Paris in June to celebrate a milestone birthday, but sadly had to cancel. You were lucky to be there without so many tourists.

I have 2 specific winter/ Xmas 90s that I wear exclusively from late Nov through end of Dec. ( Noel au F And neigh d’antan).
I have managed to collect some CSGMs to wear during the colder weather. Today’s SOTD Arbre du vent.

I love this in red! I used to be your cousin with a tan colorway but ended up rehoming it. I have trouble wrangling the 140 silks.

Thanks, magjes. 140 silks became a thing for me after acquiring this one. They are a lot of material, but I love them. In fact, I love this one so much, I am tempted to hunt down another colorway. Not sure another would work as well for me, but I love how magic this one is to me!

They are gorgeous, Croisette. I did not know the neutral colour way of Sports d'hiver. The Vie au grand Nord is positively stunning! I would not have thought of those colours as an obvious choice, but the effect is incroyable.

SOTD is Laboratoire du temps - to keep me warm at work (although climbing all those stairs also helps). I try not to wear turtlenecks every day (I love the cozy feeling they give).
