Another stunning design from the Spring/Summer 2021 collection was Selles des Steppes. All the CWs were so fabulous that it was hard to choose one, but am glad I went with this vibrant red one

Another red beauty that entered my collection this year was Acte III. I originally purchased the black CW with the purple clouds but always regretted dithering so long about adding an additional CW so that I never did. I was astounded to run across this one at a boutique this past summer and immediately pulled the trigger

One of my favorite Hermès designs of all time is Jungle Love. I own so many CWs and editions of it that I’ve almost lost count. And, I further fueled my obsession this year by adding these two beauties:
Jungle Love Love

And this amazing Jungle Love CSGM that I was lucky to find BNWT

Another new format that I discovered this year was the mousseline stole. Right after finding this purple La Voie Lactee moussie for a song, I stumbled into the yellow/orange CW and couldn’t resist. I have fallen in love with this format

Oooooh this orange Vie Lactee!!! Me likey.

2021 was a wonderful year for me in terms of my artist collection goals and exploring new formats AND along the way I found these four silks that had never been on my radar until I saw/fell for them on TPF. The first two were total coups de foudre the minute I saw them (Au Bout du Monde and Etude); A Vos Crayons was a lucky find that happened on a day when my black kryptonite switch had been set to the on position and Beloved India was a bit of a scavenger hunt for the right cw. They each have their origin story (which only adds to the specialness) but they immediately became beloved silks with pride of place over here...

This is my only 140 cm but as soon as I saw it (actually my husband pointed to it as we entered) I had to have. Panthera Pardus is shades of purple with a large cat so one of my forever silksView attachment 5283808.
@Barbette-- this is stunning in purple and gorgeously styled! Your DH has an excellent eye-- I hope you take him shopping often ;)
We are travelling for New Year‘s Eve, so I only took a very limited selection of scarves along. But one of my favourite scarves I found this year had to come along: Au coin du feu. As it happens, the place we‘re in does have a fireplace, so it is a SOS and not only the SOTD. I knotted it in a friendship knot in acknowledgement of all the friendship I find here! Plus a little companion with a matching design!

Hahaha-- this is great @SusieAugusta -- you made the perfect choice for your trip! I too appreciate all the friendship and camaraderie here and you are a wonderful part of that! I always smile to see your posts and your lovely silks. You have put this amazing design on my radar, too. Anyway shoes, knitting and Nutella-- what could possibly be better?

This year, the H fairy had mercy on me and did not create more variations of my queen of all H scarves  SOTD: one of my phoenixes.

I dropped by the boutique where the Christmas decor was still up.

Paper Christmas trees in 3 scarf designs!
And went home with my last purchase of 2021. I'll wear it tomorrow on the last day of the year!

Dear Scarfies, I wish a very merry belated christmas to every one of you who celebrated it! I was unfortunately too busy to take part here before and over Christmas, but yesterday I caught up on 20+ pages. I loved all your contributions!

Dear @Living.la.vida.fifi, thank you so much for hosting another week back-to back and showing us so many wonderful scarves from your collection!

I‘d also like to thank all scarf mistresses for their wonderful, enlightening, fun hosting plus all TPFers who participate here. I have learned so much since joining and have found a new appreciation for my H-scarves. I had joy and fun during a difficult year! I am looking forward to the new year with all of you and your wonderful silks!
SO WELL SAID- I completely agree! :drinks:

SOTD a newly acquired pre-loved Omnibus et Dame Blanche, it’s a warm fleece/sweater day in the burbs of DC, but still needed a bit extra warmth for an outdoor lunch, I like this pic with overcast light, winter trees, and fences kinda looks like I could be in a horse country magazine feature

I’ve purchased more scarves than was good for my bank account this year and I’ve not even properly unboxed all of them (2021 has been wilder than 2020). But Faubourg Party has been my all time favorite and trusted companion. It has truly been through some abuse and adventures with me this fall. This is us at the Mines de Bruoux (ochre mines) in Provence, France. It was a warm day but this soldier kept me warm from the chill of the caverns, later that evening we were caught in a torrential downpour and with no taxis available the three of us (my friend, the scarf, and I) walked 30 mins through knee deep water to our airbn. Despite being soaked to the skin, Faubourg Party survived beautifully and there is no sign of that level of water trauma, just a good story. This one doesn’t even make it back into the scarf storage just sits out hanging with my daily wear jacket.

Hello everyone!

Absolutely gorgeous! And welcome, welcome! we hope to see more!
It is so nice to see you back @Cookiefiend -- we always miss you when you're gone! I remember when you got your lovely grails-- the hem on that Winter Walk is perfect and the pink Kachinas is gorgeous on you.

All gorgeous @Redbirdhermes -- we are twins/sisters on three of these and your blue Pegase is TDF... but you will be as blue as your scarf if you stay out in that cold too long taking mod shots...

Gorgeous! Mine is so similar-- I thought this was cw 05-- how lovely to have this in a SE @Croisette7...I love the little dancers!

I am most definitely a fan! :dothewave:

Every time I see that pink CSGM of Jungle Love I just :faint: @Living.la.vida.fifi-- a loveliest among lovelies to me. (I too love Selle des Steppes).

Yes! Thank you @Nomad-- the tie is on the tutorial thread. She's made it really clear to follow.
And I am actually also only your twin with Animapolis (cw05)-- to be honest I did not even know there was another SE in a color so similar to ours! My mistake @Croisette7!

What a lovely ensemble all around and even better to have found a lovely bargain @Awillow!

Thank you for sharing! This is a spectacular cw-- the purple really glows and how lovely to let it shine on your sea foam green sweater @Croisette7.

Every time I see the blue or the brown one i have the same stern conversation with myself @Awillow!

Yes :flowers: to all -- the help, encouragement and support is incredible @Awillow!

Congratulations-- it is absolutely lovely on you and beautifully tied. Well done @Marie-the-Mary and kudos for washing it so bravely!

This is such a lovely cw and perfect with your cardi @scarf1! I love the design...

This is hilarious @Iflola but I am glad your scarf survived your Perils of Pauline adventures!

Very lovely in pink! Welcome to the fun @citykitty24!
:hugs:

So so beautiful!

My favorite design, and the most worn this year, is my avatar scarf Les Artisans d'Hermes. I own six colorways of this design, by far the most of any one design, including two that I picked up this year.

My avatar scarf in red, because red is my favorite color.

20210320_111139.jpg

The ever popular blue.

20210502_103926.jpg

The rose vif was purchased this year.

20211021_103231.jpg

The rose pale is probably the closest to the artist's original painting and is a favorite for that reason. The colors of the details here are amazing.

20210515_111948.jpg

The orange, which I first wore during orange week this year. It is a very bold orange.

20211026_102157.jpg

And, the green, which I purchased this fall after some of you were wondering why I didn't own even more colorways. After reviewing the colors I was missing, I picked this green up on the secondary market.

20211026_115207.jpg

My Les Artisans scarf collection is complete. I do own a couple of the artist's books, which are so interesting because you can see elements of the scarf in his other work.

20200714_152453.jpg

SOTD is my most recent Les Artisans d'Hermes in CW04, the almond green.
