Slipping in real quick, the Sweet Pea has just left, and I have a half hour before a pet sitter interview.
I found two grails in 2021! :panic:
Winter Walk (wearing today)

And - drum roll please - the elusive pink Kachinas

I’ll pop back in later!
So we both found the Winter Walk this year, then - same CW - been hunting it for a couple of years! My only scarf this year - apart from another grail - the equally hard to come by - the Grand Vent jacquard- in perfect condition - the miracle happened twice within the space of ten days - think I used up my luck for the whole year acquiring these two:-)

Croisette - your neige is such a beautiful color. ❤ so unexpected for a holiday scarf!

Congrats, lkb! A perfect choice. I love how all our sisters here are so helpful.

Congrats, cookie! They look great on you.

Love this on you, croisette. A beautiful shade of purple.
Thank you so much, Awillow!

Like @Awillow , I have been on the lookout for La Rosée changeante ;), enabled by @bunnycat and @Cookiefiend. Thank you, ladies ! It finally appeared on TRR and I purchased it as soon as I saw it because it is my grail. All I know is that it comes from Arizona. But I was temporarily disappointed when it was delivered because the smell was a bit unpleasant and I discovered two brown stains which weren't mentioned in TRR listing. So I summoned up my courage and gave it a good wash. The brown stains are still there but the smell has disappeared. I didn't send it back because the hunt was so long !!! and the import fees were scary ! I wonder why they vary from 20 to 33%, since I still live in the same country with the same commercial laws. I suppose carriers levy different taxes... But here it is, and I am happy !:yahoo:
Oh my, congratulations on this dreamy moussie!

Gorgeous! I love this design!
This year I purchased four scarves in the wash format. They are all beloved favorites.

I jumped on La Marche du Zambeze reissue as soon as it appeared. This was my first wash scarf and I loved the feel of the silk.

My very first Hermès scarf was a vintage Equateur. I was delighted to add a wash version to my collection in this stunning azure blue.

View attachment 5282925
View attachment 5282926

I added two wash silks in the 140 format. I could have purchased four different colorways of the Le Pegase d'Hermes, but ended up with the blue.

View attachment 5282928

The final wash scarf. and my scarf of the day, is Acinonyx Jubatus. One look at this magnificent cheetah and I had to have it.

SOTD is Acinonyx Jubatus. (Very quick mod shot as it is currently -6 F.)

They're all gorges, but my favorite is your Le Pegase d'Hermes - what a fabulous design!
And -6?!? YIKES!!
Exquisite!

Beautiful Kachinas!

All fantastic, RBH!
Thank you sweetheart!
my SE Animapolis ... I believe twins with Nomad?

beautiful colors in this - I love the lavender!
Both are magnificent! Love the knot of the Kelly en Perles…
I have not yet ventured to buy a giant silk wash… I am happy to hear your review as I’ve been hesitant

Both glorious Grails!

So many beauties! My favorite being the navy Pegasus… So striking! I also own an Equateur wash and feel that the wash format suits the design so beautifully!

Such an unique and striking CW
Thank you dear Fifi!!
Another stunning design from the Spring/Summer 2021 collection was Selles des Steppes. All the CWs were so fabulous that it was hard to choose one, but am glad I went with this vibrant red one
View attachment 5283267

Another red beauty that entered my collection this year was Acte III. I originally purchased the black CW with the purple clouds but always regretted dithering so long about adding an additional CW so that I never did. I was astounded to run across this one at a boutique this past summer and immediately pulled the trigger

One of my favorite Hermès designs of all time is Jungle Love. I own so many CWs and editions of it that I’ve almost lost count. And, I further fueled my obsession this year by adding these two beauties:
Jungle Love Love
View attachment 5283269

And this amazing Jungle Love CSGM that I was lucky to find BNWT
View attachment 5283270

Another new format that I discovered this year was the mousseline stole. Right after finding this purple La Voie Lactee moussie for a song, I stumbled into the yellow/orange CW and couldn’t resist. I have fallen in love with this format

they're all stunning but your JLL always makes me smile (all those tiny red hearts!), and your orange/yellow La Voie Lactee is like wearing a ray of sunshine!
awe those camouflage scarves are so great! That orange one speaks to me. You do brights so well fifi. Those reds and pinks, wow.

Some of my favorite looks on you snausages! That rendezvous vous looks amazing in your tie, the icy blues and greys are shimmering

Wow! hard to believe the first is a 140, a great corralling tie, and the tie look on Pegasus :faint:. did she do a tut in that thread ( can’t remember)? Because that looks amazing!

YES grails!!! I do not really know the first so will look it up, but it shimmers and shines amazingly.

great post! love seeing all the looks.

Oh I wish I had the SE!! Mine is the regular one but totally agree they both have similar colors for sure. I think even our jaguars are the same color. Looks great with that green top!
:heart::heart::heart:
Not a grail, but a pretty bargain (relatively speaking) I found last year. Etriers.View attachment 5283282
So beautiful! I think this design is a beautifully detailed one - congratulations on finding one, and a 'bargain' to boot!
for LKBNOLA: the purple Zaba

Woo hoo!! I looked for several years too, and was SO thrilled to have found it! The design is so simple, and very serene. The yellow hem is the perfect pop of color.

SOTD a newly acquired pre-loved Omnibus et Dame Blanche, it’s a warm fleece/sweater day in the burbs of DC, but still needed a bit extra warmth for an outdoor lunch, I like this pic with overcast light, winter trees, and fences kinda looks like I could be in a horse country magazine feature

I’ve purchased more scarves than was good for my bank account this year and I’ve not even properly unboxed all of them (2021 has been wilder than 2020). But Faubourg Party has been my all time favorite and trusted companion. It has truly been through some abuse and adventures with me this fall. This is us at the Mines de Bruoux (ochre mines) in Provence, France. It was a warm day but this soldier kept me warm from the chill of the caverns, later that evening we were caught in a torrential downpour and with no taxis available the three of us (my friend, the scarf, and I) walked 30 mins through knee deep water to our airbn. Despite being soaked to the skin, Faubourg Party survived beautifully and there is no sign of that level of water trauma, just a good story. This one doesn’t even make it back into the scarf storage just sits out hanging with my daily wear jacket.

It is so nice to see you back @Cookiefiend -- we always miss you when you're gone! I remember when you got your lovely grails-- the hem on that Winter Walk is perfect and the pink Kachinas is gorgeous on you.

All gorgeous @Redbirdhermes -- we are twins/sisters on three of these and your blue Pegase is TDF... but you will be as blue as your scarf if you stay out in that cold too long taking mod shots...

Every time I see that pink CSGM of Jungle Love I just :faint: @Living.la.vida.fifi-- a loveliest among lovelies to me. (I too love Selle des Steppes).

Yes! Thank you @Nomad-- the tie is on the tutorial thread. She's made it really clear to follow.
And I am actually also only your twin with Animapolis (cw05)-- to be honest I did not even know there was another SE in a color so similar to ours! My mistake @Croisette7!

What a lovely ensemble all around and even better to have found a lovely bargain @Awillow!
for LKBNOLA: the purple Zaba

Thank you for sharing! This is a spectacular cw-- the purple really glows and how lovely to let it shine on your sea foam green sweater @Croisette7.
Lkb - love that pink kelly en perles. A great scarf - absolutely stunning. Note to self, you do *not* need a fourth cw... Repeat...

(Brain remembers the flip side of this conversation - "yeah. This is what you said about samourais, and look at you now...")
Every time I see the blue or the brown one i have the same stern conversation with myself @Awillow!
Croisette - your neige is such a beautiful color. ❤ so unexpected for a holiday scarf!

Congrats, lkb! A perfect choice. I love how all our sisters here are so helpful.
