2021 was a wonderful year for me in terms of my artist collection goals and exploring new formats AND along the way I found these four silks that had never been on my radar until I saw/fell for them on TPF. The first two were total coups de foudre the minute I saw them (Au Bout du Monde and Etude); A Vos Crayons was a lucky find that happened on a day when my black kryptonite switch had been set to the on position and Beloved India was a bit of a scavenger hunt for the right cw. They each have their origin story (which only adds to the specialness) but they immediately became beloved silks with pride of place over here...

All wonderful and sought after acquisitions. I actually sold my Etude this fall since the colors didn't work for me.

Thank you @Living.la.vida.fifi ! That is the one that will likely kick off Happy Scarves Week!

For real!

Back atcha :winkiss:

I agree with @EtsyBoss - the little details are sometimes the best parts of a beloved design! And it’s a delight when those previously unseen details are brought to light - thank you @Redbirdhermes for showing that badger!

This ties so beautifully!
TY @Agrume ! Kluska is a favorite part of his designs and I’ve been a bit bitter that Voitures doesn’t have the pooch but I’m slowly coming around to appreciating that design a bit more. Dangerously more…

Excellent acquisition!

As always @Croisette7 your collection makes me want, like, all the scarves!

It’s lovely @Awillow and I’m sure the Wabi Sabi is visible only to you. The colors make me smile!

So beautiful @Redbirdhermes and the red backdrop is fantastic.

Twinning on the Appaloosa! And your zebras are delightful

Oh dear, another amazing pareo that makes my credit card vibrate. Between you and Bunnycat I am developing an obsession. The colors are wonderful - if you get a moment I’d love to see it flat

There is nothing you can’t wear and make me think ‘I should hunt for that’

Beautiful neutral! I’m a fan of navy!
Thank you, When I get home I will flat it out

My favorite design, and the most worn this year, is my avatar scarf Les Artisans d'Hermes. I own six colorways of this design, by far the most of any one design, including two that I picked up this year.

My avatar scarf in red, because red is my favorite color.

View attachment 5283615

The ever popular blue.

View attachment 5283617

The rose vif was purchased this year.

View attachment 5283618

The rose pale is probably the closest to the artist's original painting and is a favorite for that reason. The colors of the details here are amazing.

View attachment 5283619

The orange, which I first wore during orange week this year. It is a very bold orange.

View attachment 5283620

And, the green, which I purchased this fall after some of you were wondering why I didn't own even more colorways. After reviewing the colors I was missing, I picked this green up on the secondary market.

View attachment 5283621

My Les Artisans scarf collection is complete. I do own a couple of the artist's books, which are so interesting because you can see elements of the scarf in his other work.

Another lovely post! Thank you for sharing these with us!

Not a grail, but a pretty bargain (relatively speaking) I found last year. Etriers.View attachment 5283282
My fav color combo for outfits is black, white and red, so of course this one resonates with me… so elegant

for LKBNOLA: the purple Zaba

View attachment 5283283
I am delighted to be your twin in this glorious scarf! I feel the purple is one of the top CWs of this one

Like @Awillow , I have been on the lookout for La Rosée changeante ;), enabled by @bunnycat and @Cookiefiend. Thank you, ladies ! It finally appeared on TRR and I purchased it as soon as I saw it because it is my grail. All I know is that it comes from Arizona. But I was temporarily disappointed when it was delivered because the smell was a bit unpleasant and I discovered two brown stains which weren't mentioned in TRR listing. So I summoned up my courage and gave it a good wash. The brown stains are still there but the smell has disappeared. I didn't send it back because the hunt was so long !!! and the import fees were scary ! I wonder why they vary from 20 to 33%, since I still live in the same country with the same commercial laws. I suppose carriers levy different taxes... But here it is, and I am happy !:yahoo:
So it was you!! That one flew the moment it was posted on TRR and I was hoping it had gone to one of us… Congratulations on this sublime silk!

Ac5ual SOTD and my most recent purchase Danse pacific in pretty pastelsView attachment 5283346
So beautiful on you, especially with the soft pink cardigan… I am still on the lookout for a soft CW of this marvelous design

SOTD a newly acquired pre-loved Omnibus et Dame Blanche, it’s a warm fleece/sweater day in the burbs of DC, but still needed a bit extra warmth for an outdoor lunch, I like this pic with overcast light, winter trees, and fences kinda looks like I could be in a horse country magazine feature

I’ve purchased more scarves than was good for my bank account this year and I’ve not even properly unboxed all of them (2021 has been wilder than 2020). But Faubourg Party has been my all time favorite and trusted companion. It has truly been through some abuse and adventures with me this fall. This is us at the Mines de Bruoux (ochre mines) in Provence, France. It was a warm day but this soldier kept me warm from the chill of the caverns, later that evening we were caught in a torrential downpour and with no taxis available the three of us (my friend, the scarf, and I) walked 30 mins through knee deep water to our airbn. Despite being soaked to the skin, Faubourg Party survived beautifully and there is no sign of that level of water trauma, just a good story. This one doesn’t even make it back into the scarf storage just sits out hanging with my daily wear jacket.

Also please indulge me as I show off my celebrity moment

What a great story! Such an incredible adventure! That scarf is certainly a wonderful workhorse… Love everything about the first pic

Hello everyone!

I am new to TPF but not to Hermes scarves. Here is my scarf of the day, Les Leopards in the Rose/blue CW.

View attachment 5283752
Welcome! And hope you will join us in the future as well… This is such a delightful design and looks amazing in this CW

This is my only 140 cm but as soon as I saw it (actually my husband pointed to it as we entered) I had to have. Panthera Pardus is shades of purple with a large cat so one of my forever silksView attachment 5283808.
OMG breathtaking! This must be my fav CW… It is striking… and the brooch is a beauty

We are travelling for New Year‘s Eve, so I only took a very limited selection of scarves along. But one of my favourite scarves I found this year had to come along: Au coin du feu. As it happens, the place we‘re in does have a fireplace, so it is a SOS and not only the SOTD. I knotted it in a friendship knot in acknowledgement of all the friendship I find here! Plus a little companion with a matching design!

All amazing but must pick A Vos Crayons as my fav… That black CW is still on my wishlist… Such a fun design!

This year, the H fairy had mercy on me and did not create more variations of my queen of all H scarves  SOTD: one of my phoenixes.

And went home with my last purchase of 2021. I'll wear it tomorrow on the last day of the year!
Great pics and beautiful phoenix! Can’t wait to see your reveal!

I am gobsmacked… This is a glorious silk! Whenever you have a minute, could you indulge us with more photos? Including pics of the scarf alone to get different views of the design and CW? It is magnificent

What an incredible collex of this amazing design! Twinning with you on the bright CW and I also own the sister to your rose pale that has the pearl grey in the corners instead of yellow. I was actually looking for yours but it never made it to my store. It is impossible to pick a favorite from this bunch!

Probably my fav design of the Fall/Winter 2021 collection was Grand Theatre Nouveau. I could’ve easily purchased multiple CWs but stuck to just this one… for now

A fairly recent design that I passed up on when it was reissued was Battery Park. I dithered mesmerized by various CWs I liked at the time. So when this CW suddenly became available, I hesitated no more. It will be the perfect choice to wear for Independence Day festivities

An older classic that I’ve always adored also came my way this year: Aline Honoré’s Au Coeur de la Vie. This is the second CW I own of this design and being quite different from my first one, I quickly pounced on the opportunity.

A design I’ve always pursued as a giant silk is Parures Precieuses. Though I must admit I had been eyeing other CWs, this one came my way and I got it… a bit hesitantly, I must admit. Well, it has become a favorite and one that I reach for often. I think I may be wearing it to a Broadway show tonight

When a dear scarfie friend made this wondrous Quintessence moussie available, I immediately knew I wanted it. I did not own any changeant giant mousselines as the Voi Lactee moussie changeants I had purchased earlier were actually stoles. So I am thrilled to own this dramatic beauty

This year I purchased four scarves in the wash format. They are all beloved favorites.

I jumped on La Marche du Zambeze reissue as soon as it appeared. This was my first wash scarf and I loved the feel of the silk.

View attachment 5282920View attachment 5282921View attachment 5282922

My very first Hermès scarf was a vintage Equateur. I was delighted to add a wash version to my collection in this stunning azure blue.

View attachment 5282925
View attachment 5282926

I added two wash silks in the 140 format. I could have purchased four different colorways of the Le Pegase d'Hermes, but ended up with the blue.

The final wash scarf. and my scarf of the day, is Acinonyx Jubatus. One look at this magnificent cheetah and I had to have it.

SOTD is Acinonyx Jubatus. (Very quick mod shot as it is currently -6 F.)

View attachment 5283232

Amazing! Congrats!

Another stunning design from the Spring/Summer 2021 collection was Selles des Steppes. All the CWs were so fabulous that it was hard to choose one, but am glad I went with this vibrant red one
View attachment 5283267

Another red beauty that entered my collection this year was Acte III. I originally purchased the black CW with the purple clouds but always regretted dithering so long about adding an additional CW so that I never did. I was astounded to run across this one at a boutique this past summer and immediately pulled the trigger

One of my favorite Hermès designs of all time is Jungle Love. I own so many CWs and editions of it that I’ve almost lost count. And, I further fueled my obsession this year by adding these two beauties:
Jungle Love Love

And this amazing Jungle Love CSGM that I was lucky to find BNWT
View attachment 5283270

Another new format that I discovered this year was the mousseline stole. Right after finding this purple La Voie Lactee moussie for a song, I stumbled into the yellow/orange CW and couldn’t resist. I have fallen in love with this format

All are wonderful but the giant silk Parures is especially festive. I wish H reissued Tohu Bohu so I could add a CSGM sibling to my 90 cm carré.
